The store is pretty small in spite of how it looks on the outside. Oddly enough, this may make it easier to stock, because the place was pretty full of various items for the hounds we got back at the Mausoleum.The one lass rocking the "Punk is definitely not dead," look was pretty quick to get us to where we need to be looking for stuff and was oddly more professional than the Golden Girls rejects that were pretty snooty to us. So props to her.

Went from five stars to 1 . Lately it seems like it's been nothing but horrible interactions with your staff. From staff members ignoring you, or being blatantly rude when you ask a question, because you interrupted them while they were ON THEIR PHONES. I keep seeming to have issues with anyone working in the fish section, and it's getting annoying.Whoever the manager is needs to talk to their staff, because Petco is not cheap and the people who come in are spending good money! Staff needs to realize that people who go in there spend good money, and need to be treated respectfully.

Pretty good staff, really knowledgeable.The only thing that I would have to say is when I had bought fish for my 75-gallon tank. They said that the other fish didn't have ' Ick'' . Even knowing that all the new fish were in quarantine with it.

This place is always good, very friendly and they have everything well stocked.If you're looking to get your dog groomed. However, I do say to call ahead because they have a pretty long waiting list. Sometimes it can take a week sometimes it can take two . On the occasion that it takes that long. You can also get called and they will tell you if they have an opening which sometimes works out. It has for me a few times already.

I goto the grooming department and want to get my dogs Nell’s done I was told that I would have to Waite 15 mins I asked if there was a place that I could set told her that I am handicapped that I could not stand that long did they have a chair that I could set on (and get this she had her knee on a chair at the cash rester and told that there are benches out front in the sun. My legs are swollen. It would kill me to sit in the sun like that. I called corporate about it and they didn’t want to do anything either they just put you off that’s all people are supposed to help the handicapped. If you’re handicapped, do not go to this place after this I went to Petsmart and you know what they had outside their room and department two chairs.

Has a wide variety of healthy dog foods. Has lots of fish and some cats for adoption. The food is always in stocks when I go. It gets annoying when they move stuff, which happens about 2 or 3 times a year. They have a reward program, which is nice.

My dog is a 9 month old labradoodle.Took him in for first haircut.The groomer shaved him bald.Said he would have a teddy bear face cut..Not even.He looked awful.Please beware before you go there .I could have done a better job than he did.

We had our Alaskan Malamut groomed since he was 10 weeks old. Now 3 years old, he is very used to the process. When we brought him to the Broomfield location, he established a panic and wouldn't let the people groom him. For us not understandable at all. When we brought him back to Wheat Ridge, they were able to work with him and got all his undercoating removed without problems. So so grateful 🙏

There’s always something in the aisle somewhere that you can’t get a cart by, so doubtful you can with a wheelchair. They’ve been out of my dogs food a couple times. Staff is friendly, parking lot at night sometimes is pitch black.

Lies about not having crickets just to be lazy. Lol I saw them.Medium cricket in with the blue dart frogs? They're half the size. Those frogs are gonna die. The Purina pro plan food right in the entry way with the sun on them all day.This location is so weird....

I have never had any problems with grooming my dog at any Petco location, until now. I have a long haired dog, and honestly it doesn’t look like he was trimmed by a professional. He has an itchy eye (which never happened) and his paws are hurtful to the eyes. And I had to trim some “crazy” hair that was left behind. They asked for the tip BEFORE handling him to me, and the total was $97 for a bad service. Besides, the person that charged and delivered my dog wasn’t the same grooming stylist I talked with. So be aware and get your dog before payment.

Found four dead betas and many more other fish not in good shape.Besides that it's kinda small but small but had regular Petco stuff. I wouldn't recommend getting anything live here because of over pricing and lack of care. For example "premium" bearded dragons and "live fish bugs" that had molded and were definitely dead.

Make sure you check your receipts as cashiers will overcharge you by inflating the quantity sold if you aren’t paying attention, probably so they can pocket the difference without stealing from their employer. Happened to me more than once here!

I was hesitant to take my cat to a chain for her nail clipping, and we've always gone to the vet. It was a wonderful surprise. TERREN was competent and reassuring. I loved being able to watch the trim through the glass. And, half the price of the vet. I'll be back.

I love this location. I take my dog here for training (Erin is so wonderful), and to get groomed (Jack has groomed him twice now). My dog is a big boy with lots of energy, and they have shown nothing but love and patience with him. I also have a bearded dragon, and the employees I’ve spoken to are very knowledgeable about beardies. Highly recommend this location!

I complained...dog smelled like skunk. They rebathed and it was amazing. Brought her back, and it was terrible again!! This place has been a huge headache...Id recommend avoiding if you can. My dog also seemed different afterwards and I can't wait to get her bathed again. She is offensive smelling...such a pain. THANKS TARIN and team. You guys are toxic....and unprofessional.

We will be coming here from now on because our new groomer Lee did the most amazing job with our pup Otis. Usually people have a hard time trimming his beard and ears short and she nailed it ! We will be back !

I went there to get help with my new fish tank, and their employees act as if they don't want to help out customers! I finally got one to help me ! The other one kept ignoring me, every time I tried to get their attention they would walk off and act like I wasn't there! I guess I wasn't the right color person to help! They were helping others!?!? Petco is the worst pet store I have ever been to? I won't be returning anytime soon? I don't care what location I go to it's always a bad experience! Enough is enough!
