We have been taking our doodle Winston to Lucky Dog Grooming since the fall of 2020 and have only had positive experiences. They always put the dogs safety and needs first which is what any dog owner should want. There have been times where he is pretty matted and they are always transparent about what to expect based off of his coat condition which we really appreciate. Regardless of his coat condition when we drop him off he always comes back clean, happy and still as cute as can be! They are very knowledgeable and friendly and we couldn’t be happier with them!

They treat my girl like the princess she is! Chloé is particular with who she likes and she has loved everyone she has seen here at Lucky Dog Grooming! You can tell just how experienced they all are by her demeanor when she gets back home. No trauma here! We love them and will continue to use them as our groomers!

Brandi can take two dirty, stinking, overgrown goldens and work her magic so they come home looking wonderful. She has a great can-do attitude and is always on time. The dogs love her and I love my clean, good-looking dogs! After owning goldens for more than 4 decades, and bouncing around to multiple groomers in town, I'm delighted to find excellence so close to home.

We had our Pomeranian, Finn groomed this past Sunday.He looks so cute! Laurie did an awesome job accommodating our requests, and you can tell he feels way more comfortable with his warm weather cut. He wasn't nervous or skittish when we picked him up which has happened at another groomer in the past.They may take a few days to confirm appointment dates but they are always able to get your dog within a reasonable date.Highly recommended! :)Thank you, Laurie!

Brandy is the BEST! I am very very picky with my dogs’ haircuts. I have two mini labradoodles, each have different texture hair. She has learned to cut them so perfectly. I take them every three weeks because it keeps them clean, fresh, and tangle free. 10/10!!

I have been taking my dog Dean there intermittently for about a year. He is a 130lb Cane Corso and can be a lot of dog, so finding someone I trust is difficult and was the most important. I don’t know what happens after I drop him off (obviously) but they are always so sweet with him and they do a great job with his grooming… so when I pick him up and see that he is happier than when I wash him I know it was worth it and there is a level of care that I haven’t seen from other groomers prior. I’m embarrassed I don’t know their (groomers/owners) names but thank you for your continued care with my PuppyMan!

Brandi went above and beyond with our dog Iggy last visit. He didn’t want to go in the door and got out of his harness. I finally got him back in the car and Brandi assisted me in getting him into the shop, picking him up and carrying him (he weighs 52 pounds). After his grooming Brandi spent time tightening his harness just right, so he won’t slip out. Lucky Dog has always giving Iggy first class treatment! It’s most appreciated!

I have a 35lb small retriever, and the ladies at Lucky Dog make her look AMAZING. We’ve taken her to 5 different places across town and no one does a better job. However, the price point has gotten very high. In 2021, our bill was $55 but our last full groom was $125. We really like Lucky Dog but won’t be able to come at the frequency we’d like because of the new, high prices.

I started bringing my dog to Lucky Dog shortly after moving to Denver because everyone I know was already coming here. After hearing rave reviews, I figured it was at least worth a shot.I've got a fairly nervous/anxious dog - he had never been groomed before, and hates any loud mechanical sounds. The staff at Lucky Dog have been great! They're always so nice and welcoming when trying to bring my dog in, and the results speak for themselves. He honestly seems much more comfortable around loud sounds after having been there a few times.The staff is also phenomenal - they will text you with any recommendations, and are very prompt in their communications. Definitely the type of groomer where you can tell they put the animal as the top priority. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else

I’ve been taking my golden doodle here for about a year. Brandi and her team are great!! My dog doesn’t really enjoy the groomer (does any dog?!) but they do a great job. We had a long talk the first few times to ensure we were on the same page and now she just gets “the usual”. We love going here and even though we moved to another part of town, still make the drive over since a good groomer is so hard to find! I recommend lucky dog to anyone!!

Amazing! The best groomer ever! The owner clipped my sweet little ones nails and she usually hates it and is scared. Her nails look fantastic and I now have some ideas on how to make this less stressful for my little dog. We will be back and only ever come here!!! The best.

This is my absolute favorite grooming spot that we have been to in Denver since moving here 3 years ago, and because there seems to be a groomer shortage (with groomers quitting at some places we’ve been to and other places not taking new customers), we have unfortunately been to quite a few places! Brandi is absolutely fantastic at what she does, and given that we have two bigger, long haired dogs, I love that she listens to exactly what we want and consistently delivers a perfect groom for both of our pups! On top of that, LDG is more affordable than most boutique grooming salons, so I can book early and go more often. Most importantly, Brandi really cares about the well-being of the dogs!! Our older golden is 10, and she has bad hips, and I know that Brandi will make sure she gets the breaks she needs to be comfortable throughout the process. We are so grateful for LDG and Brandi!!

I found Lucky Dog after my former groomer no longer wanted to groom my elderly 10lb dog, because he was getting too difficult. I spoke with Brandi about his fear of the blow dryer and she said she’d be happy to see how he did with her. Well, that was well over a year ago, and we have never looked back! Brandi is wonderful with my little dog and he always looks fantastic and happy. Brandi is a wonderful groomer! The Salon is very clean and nice and everyone I’ve encountered has been great!

I brought my dog in about three weeks ago to be groomed. I had asked the owner, Brandi if I could bring Luna in for several visits because I knew she was badly matted and would need to have them worked out. I even bought several products to help work on her mats before I brought her in and even tried using the corn starch Brandi had suggested I use to help work on the mats. But, then Brandi said to stop trying to work on the mats and just bring her in. I brought her in on February 7th at 7:30 a.m. and was called about two hours later to pick her her up. I thought that was pretty fast since I thought Brandi would be spending some time working on getting the mats out. I know now she never even tried!When I walked in, Brandi said now don’t cry when you see her! Who says that to an owner of a beloved pet? When I saw Luna, I saw that my dog looked like a scalped and shaved puppy that was so badly shaved around her head, ears, her whole body and her tail. It took her a long time before she could feel comfortable even sitting! She looked frightened and when I got her home I saw how badly she was “groomed!” Her eyelashes were shaved off, her whiskers were cut off and she was incredibly upset and depressed. The reason I know this is because she starting sleeping in our bed when she use to be happy in her crate. I am still upset three weeks later about how little care and regard Brandi showed for Luna and I would never recommend her. There is nothing lucky about going to Lucky Dog Groomers.

This was my first time to ever take my dog to a groomer, and I was so happy and impressed by their services! I was very anxious to take our dog (a Border Collie) to a groomer because I've heard horror stories about dogs who looked worse than when they came in, but what was even more horrible were the dogs who had been cut and were bleeding. But our Border Collie has a very thick undercoat which was very, very matted. I knew it was starting to bother him and something needed to be done, but I didn't know how to safely handle it. From the moment I walked in the door and met Brandi, my anxiety went away and I knew he would be in good hands. The first thing she did was to sit down on the floor with him so he could meet her. She barely touched him - just enough to get a brief idea of how bad the mats were - but she didn't want to handle him too much until he got a chance to know her better. She answered all my questions with respect and patience until I felt comfortable and assured that her grooming techniques were not going to hurt him. When I picked him up, I was totally amazed that all the mats and tangles were gone! He looked beautiful. But what really sealed my gratefulness was when she got on the floor to say goodbye, and he started giving her kisses. I would highly recommend this groomer to anyone!

Finally found a cat groomer to trim my cat’s nails! Most places I’ve called said they do not have a cat groomer/not seeing new clients for cats. I was was so grateful to bring my baby in since she will not let me touch her nails. Lucky Dog Grooming was responsive and my cat did well here. The groomers were super sweet. Will be bringing her back!

So sweet and friendly! My dog is terrified of getting her nails cut and after trying everything at home and being unsuccessful i brought her here and they were able to cut them! I was so surprised they were able to do it just knowing how she is but we had a great experience, definitely would recommend!

Thanks again Janelle! I needed to write another review because every time I bring my dog here I am so happy. Janelle is the best! My white golden is a bit of a baby, but I know when I drop her off here that she will get great care and a great cut and clean. We used to take her to another place a few years ago, but it got to the point that my dog would barely get out of the car because she did not like that place. Obviously she wasn't being treated as well as I expected. Lucky Dog is the best place to take any dog. So happy we found Janelle and her business!

We’ve been going to Brandi for a nail trim every 2-4 weeks for the last 3 months, she is AMAZING. Our dog had so much fear and anxiety about getting his nails cut that I just couldn’t do it safely at home. After going to see Brandi regularly (and lots of boiled chicken), our dog has become much more comfortable with process and now it only takes a couple minutes. Highly highly recommend nail trims (and baths!) here

Brandi is very patient with each dog. She can read their personalities and makes sure they feel comfortable and safe throughout the grooming process. She also offers this fabulous DE-SHEDDING shampoo that helps release the undercoat while saving my dogs from hours standing to be brushed. Definitely recommend Lucky Dog Grooming/Brandi! :)

I came in this morning to have my little 4 month old Mini Schnauzer's nails trimmed and I LOVE this place. Otis is not a social pup yet and he is loud and hesitant to go with any stranger. They were great with Otis and even demonstrated to me how to properly brush him. Otis wanted to stay and hang out. So happy I chose them and have scheduled his first full grooming session. Customer service is amazing. I left there feeling completely taken care of and knowing they care!

Brandi and Shawna groomed my Cat named Puppy he's a Maincoon mix and was pretty matted. He got a bath they dematted him for me and clipped his nails. I thought he'd be mad but to my surprise he was very happy after. Also the price was very reasonable especially compared to other groomers I've used in the past. We tried Lucky Dog after a few unsuccessful attempts at other groomers. Brandi took time to listen to my concerns, individualize my appointment for our Havanese and completely treat him as her own. I wondered about the ‘new owners’ people were referencing following Janelle leaving and my concerns were completely put to rest by Brandi! Our dog Andy never felt so soft and fluffy as he did following our visit here! As an extra bonus, Barry... the owner came to my rescue when I went to leave and my car would not start. He jumped my car and was so gracious and kind about it! Super nice!! We will be back!! Thank you!
