Heavenly Dog has been our go-to groomer for over 2 years now! We found them shortly after moving and have loved them ever since. Jennifer, her husband (Owners) and their team always fit us in for appointments and most importantly give fantastic cuts to our dog Stella. You can tell they truly care about each dog that they groom. They remember the small details and are very professional. I Couldn't recommend this business more if you are new to the area or looking for a new groomer. -Sean

Could not recommend these guys enough! It’s always nerve-wracking trying to find a new groomer in a new city, especially being a doodle owner. Once we found heavenly dog we have not turned back! They are so kind and patient with our guy, his haircuts come out just how we want every time. You can tell they really care about the animals and not stressing them out. Some reviews mention them being expensive but it’s an expensive business to run, especially if you want a quality grooming! For me the price is totally fair! As a dog mom who has done her research, bring your fur babies to get groomed here. You’ll feel comfortable at drop-off and so happy at pickup❤️

Absolutely recommend bringing your dog here for a groom. Small shop that takes only a few dogs at a time so they aren’t stuck in a crate all day. Contacted me as soon as they were done to come get my dog.Groomer was awesome, attentive to detail and asked all the questions you want ahead of time to ensure I got what I wanted. Plus, I have a poodle so they can be tricky to groom.

This place has changed drastically. I’ve been taking my mini schnauzer mix for over a year and the past few grooming it’s been getting worse. My mom takes her Bernese Mountain Dog and was having the same complaint…the dogs came back still damp and the cuts were, well, off. Yesterday was the last straw. I had an appointment for noon and dropped off said Schnauzer mix. Two and a half hours later I call because she’s never taken that long. First red flag. The groomer tells me she was backed up and had two large dogs before her. Ok, why wasn’t I informed at drop off and could have brought her over later? Finally almost four hours after drop off I get a call. She proceeds to tell me that she had to shave her down more because she was really matted. Now, I had warned her of the matting in her beard and told her she could cut that down. Yet, she was claiming she was dreaded up in her chest and neck. News to me, but why not call when you’re in the process? I pick up the dog and she has been shaved down. Apparently without any care either. Poor dog has shorter hair, longer bits….it’s awful. Even the face, which I specifically said is a doodle cut face is uneven. Look at the photos and judge for yourself. Not only that, my dog is usually a dream to groom. I was informed that she got a bit “testy” when they shaved her. I mean, four hours in I’d be testy too! Never again. Save yourself the money, anger and definitely save your pooch the trauma from this place.

Carter and the team do excellent work with our mini doodle! Like any doodle, his hair is a hyooge pain. He was already shaggy when we rescued him and the first time he went I was worried they'd almost have to shave him. Nope they worked miracles and he came out with the perfect length.They're very accommodating and flexible, too. And nice! Vety satisfied.Pics are from a couple different visits.

Did they give me back someone else’s dog? No, he just looks more beautiful than I have ever seen him or knew he could be!! My boy is an Irish Setter, five years of age. He has been groomed by a number of people in other places over the years, but nothing as wonderful as this. Amber, in a couple of hours, transcended Jamie into the show dog he was meant to be. The works! Clean teeth and ears, shiny, soft coat, great cut, complete with diamonds on his forehead. All this for a most modest price. He was a happy boy🐕‍ 🐕. Leslie Plonkey

We've been taking our Golden Retriever to Jen for three years. Initially, our dog was nervous about going and now she eagerly jumps out of the car and is happy to see her friend, Jen. Our dog returns looking clean, beautifully brushed and groomed. I highly recommend Heavenly Dog.

If I could give them “0” star, I would have done that. These people don’t know how to groom a goldendoodle. Asked for round face, they cut it too short that I didn’t recognize our dog. They poodle the doodle. Clearly they have no idea what teddy bear face is. Lot of uneven parts on our dog’s body that now i have to find anotjer groomer to fix it.When asked the owner for the refund, he refused and basically accused me that I want a free groom. Talked to the bank and will dispute the charges as soon as it is posted. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE.

I took my dog on 02.17.24, my dog was being groomed in this salon for more than a year for a groomer, that did a wonderful job on him, worked on his anxiety issues and respected his fears, during that year I didn’t have any complaint from the groomer or to the salon. For some reason this groomer is not longer there they didn’t informed me; either way I choose to thrust, and informed my dog issues and what they should do and DONT do to him. I informed they don’t should use a dremmel bc he’s extremely scared of it. After I dropped my dog they called 30mins later that he was ready, they only do his nails, they didn’t bath him, and they charged me for the whole service even for a deshedding they didn’t provide. I won’t take my dog again to this salon

Carter groomed our basset-cocker spaniel pup a few times, and everytime he did an amazing job. I am very protective of my babies, so trustworthy groomers can be hard for me to find. I love how efficient this place is, and how they don't automatically stick your dog in a kennel for hours.Unfortunately, Dori passed away recently. We will continue to refer our friends to Carter at Heavenly Dog.

Had an appointment for 10:30am, at drop off they said they needed 4 hours. Ok. At 5pm I hadn't heard from them so I stopped by and they hadn't done a thing with my pup. I sat there and waited for them to finish. Not sure if they'd have done anything had I not come by. So disappointing.

My Yorkie got a haircut today last minute and they did SUCH an amazing job!!!! They also gave him a cute tie to go home with. I would recommend anyone to take their pup here bc wow. I’m so happy with the results and I have tried many other places around town. The price is also more than fair and the people who work there are so sweet ! Thanks so much heavenly dog! I really have enjoyed this groomer. We love keeping his hair long & fluffy. They haven’t said we need to shave our Bernedoodle down, as we keep him well brushed (other groomers have said we “had too”)

Sad I won't be back.Dropped my wife's husky to be groomed and she came back wet and not fully brushed out. The place was chaotic when I dropped her off and full of hair when I picked her up... As in a giant hairball rolled across the entry as I opened the door to pick my pup up. Dog was healthy and in good shape, happy to leave but didn't look traumatized. Her coat still looked dingy, I wouldn't say it's worth the $100 groom. Don't recommend going here. Not sure of where else to go, we will continue to look for other places.

Lack of understanding for first time customersThis was our puppies was first time at Heavenly Dogs, well actually for any groomer since she’s only 5 months old. Her experience lacked a sense of empathy to the fact she’s not quite comfortable with other dogs or the whole grooming experience. The paperwork was missing any preference for having dogs together with her or a place for her grooming history. We didn’t sign her up for doggy day care and thought it was an actual appointment time. Thankfully the other dogs were pleasant, but still a scary experience for her without her people.Our pup left with only getting a bath and barely a trim. The whole purpose of the visit was for a hair cut before warmer weather. The groomer said she didn’t tolerate the bath or blow dryer well. I’m not a dog expert, but I have watched enough behavioral videos on dogs on how to introduce them to new things. Throwing her into a foreign place with several new dogs and people is not the way. There was no personal touch or animal loving sense when she arrived. You instead had 8 other dogs at her appointment time with 3 staff members and didn’t have the resources to take that approach. Once dogs are scared, they usually stay scared of that activity. We slowly introduced her to baths at home and she loves them, even jumps in the tub.Please consider taking a new approach, especially for new customers. Expecting dogs to act better the next time is not realistic after a bad first time. I’m not a happy customer after paying $60 for a bath and face cut. She looks silly with only her face trimmed. Please work on scheduling extra time for new clients and make it a good experience from the start for all.

Wow, what an awful experience. We had an appointment at 9am and there were no other dogs being worked on, we were the first ones in...they scheduled (4) other dogs at the same time. We were told it would be FOUR HOURS before we could pick her up, ok...We thought about that more and it didn't sound right. We came back to the store to see the groomer was working on a dog that came much after us. When I asked why she wasn't working on Lucy, she just shrugged her shoulders. She didn't care at all that we were frustrated.I asked for my dog back and she said call the manager to explain...I called Don and he was understanding of our situation, he was embarrassed. That groomer shouldn't work there or with dogs, she didn't seem to even like dogs...It's pretty obvious that we will never be back, but I am glad others have had a more positive experience there.

Ive always cleaned my own pups but finally need some help and took my 12 year old 80 pound floof ball here. At first I was very apprehensive leaving him there with the vacuums and other dogs, but the staff here, especially Carter, is amazing. Very understanding of dog anxiety and good at handling it. I picked my old boy up fresh clean and happy. A really great experience. Thanks Heavenly, well be back!

We used to love it here but we are never returning. They had our dog for seven (7!!) hours and we picked him up and he still hadn’t been groomed but they charged $100. Do not waste your time or money.

They were amazing!! My dog had matting on her legs and belly, and they were able to get them out and shape her evenly. I wasn’t expecting it at all and I’m blown away! Along with that she has the cutest little bows in her hair. Definitely will be keeping them as my main grooming place!
