This place felt warm and inviting. The birds were all sweet and happy. I went in to purchase an enclosure for my eclectus and Dakota was super helpful and knowledgeable in providing options and helping me choose toys. She was also very patient and sweet with allowing my daughters to meet many of the birds while I decided on an enclosure. Furthermore, she helped me load the enclosure into my car and I am so thankful, it was big! Her friendliness and the compassion she holds for all the birds is palpable. I am looking forward to bringing my eclectus here for future grooming.

Husband and I went in to expolore birds. We love cockatoos, we asked to see one in there named Taffy. We explain our home life and how we have wanted one.The owner was so rude, told us she would NOT sell us any large birds. Then continued being rude with any question we had. Made her own co worker have to walk away because she was completely unprofessional. She made too many assumptions and ultimately when you do that you dont know who your ever talking to. If you want a bird DO NOT recommend this place. The owner is also the same owner from a previous bird store that was closed. I couldnt imagine why..just based on her customer service.

If you are looking for a bird, this is the place to go. With a wide variety of hand raised birds you are sure to find a lifetime companion here. Carmen and Dakota are extremely knowledgeable in care, raising and socialization for exotic birds. Their compassion shines through and they make certain their birds go to secure loving homes. On top of this, they run a bird rescue as well. You cannot go wrong here!!

Really cute place! I just moved here and was trying to find a new bird store for my bird's needs. After visiting a couple of other bird stores I finally found one that sells my feathered baby's food (harrisons, roudybush, bird bistro, etc.). They also have a good selection of toys and birdies waiting for their forever home. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. Glad I found a new store for my birdie!

After a lengthy search for a DNA female Hahns Macaw from a breeder I felt I could trust, I was very fortunate to have found Carmen and Dakota. They did not disappoint! I was greeted at the door by a beautiful, very large Macaw with quite the life story. As I looked around my first impression was how immaculate the store looked and smelled, everything organized, every cage clean. There were a number of birds, all healthy and happy, some quite rare, all lovingly cared for. My Hahns was not quite weaned yet so Carmen patiently taught me how to feed her, from mixing the formula to feeding from a bottle. They thoroughly answered all my questions…during my two day visit from my hometown of Chicago, to numerous texts, and occasional phone calls. I learned so much from them and it’s made me a much better bird “parent”. My only negative was that my visit was too short, I really would have loved to spend more time with them! If you can, go visit them. You’ll enjoy the experience!

The worker there was SO kind and sweet, she answered any and all questions me and my boyfriend had and seemed to genuinely enjoy our presence. She was feeding the birds millet and the environment, despite being a bird place, was very clean. We were able to have some 1 on 1 time with the birds. Deeply considering buying a bird from there. This is a truly an amazing place.

This was our first time in the shop. I have driven by and seen it for months. The staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and so informative. We have a handicap Sun conure and they gave us a few suggestions to help with his diet. They have an amazing collection of avain pets. We will definitely be going back.

I didnt catch her name but the worker we talked to was super friendly when it came to the limitless questions i had about bird ownership and she told me everything i needed to know, she also let me and my girlfriend hold some of the birds which many stores ive been to dont allow. The birds cages were well kept and they all seemed happy and talkative. She even went as far as to setting boundaries if a bird was tired and didnt want to be out of its cage showing her dedication and respect for these birds. These birds were some of the most beautiful little creatures ever. I will definitely be back to hang out and buy a bird soon.

We own exotic birds and we’re so excited to find a store opened close to our home.The energy and passion of each person here, even other customers, was so light and genuine. The variety is great with the birds here and the owner is connected well to brokers in case what you’re looking for isn’t there. We will be returning to this store.

This place is horrible. The poor birds are clipped so badly. The “tamed” bird they offered to let me hold was terrified and everytime he bit, she told me to PULL HIS LEG. If you know anything about birds you know a tamed bird will willingly step up. She had to chase this bird around in the cage and around the store because he kept trying to fly away. The owners hands were FULL of bite marks and cuts from all the birds that are terrified of them because of how horribly they are treated and handled. I hope this place gets shut down and all their birdies are sent to a rescue or something because their conditions are unacceptable. I don’t put reviews in anywhere but this place is horrific and people need to know.

I got a Indian ringneck from these ladies July 2023 and I could not be more satisfied. Carmon and Dakota were very patient with teaching me different techniques to get Larue to step up on my finger. They are very knowledgeable and full of answers for all my question. I wanted a male ring neck as I like that dark black circle around the neck and Carmon charged me a great price to DNA my bird. The store was clean and welcoming upon entry. All the birds were healthy and happy. I would highly recommende this store for all your exotic bird needs.

Probably will never go there again the lady just kept staring at me and my family, my daughter has autism with mannerisms and she was doing really good behaving and the lady basically told her too stop having mannerisms when she has no control over that. Definitely going to complain to the ADA cause people with disabilities come in different shapes and not all show there disabilities!

This place is probably the cleanest bird store ive ever been too. I havent held a cockatiel for almost 4 years and it was emotional to hold one again after so long. Excited to come back again!

We walked in yesterday after the name of the store intrigued us. I didn’t know what to expect so I was shy at first, but Carmen was so welcoming! We didn’t know much about birds so we had tons of questions, she answered them all kindly and told us to “make yourselves comfortable.” Once we were walking around looking at all the lovely birds, she gave us more info about them all and the level of care they would each require. She made sure to emphasize that owning a bird is a commitment, showing us how truly passionate she is about the birds and their well-being. If and when I find myself in the position ready to own a bird, I would definitely come here!
