It is very small, crowded and dirty. The people are nice that work there. The gentleman that helped us made it sound almost impossible to set up a saltwater tank, almost like he was trying to talk us out of it. We have had fresh water for over 16 years and have done a lot of research and want to upgrade. Instead of selling us on it, he made it seem impossible. I am not sure if I will go back there. The lack of cleanliness makes me worry about purchasing fish from here for sure.

Absolutely beautiful store. These guys clearly know what they're doing. The best part is they don't have the attitude that you get at most salt/reef stores. They're very humble and helpful.

This is the best saltwater store around they have been the greatest help to me I have been coming here as my main saltwater store for many months now without knowing nothing about saltwater they helped me start from the bottom from cycling my first ever tank to getting fish in and now many corals with fantastic success the employees here are so helpful and very nice as well and answer almost any questions you have I will continue to come her for lots of time to come I highly recommend!

I like to visit saltwater fish and coral stores everywhere we visit. This is the nicest store we’ve visited. Clean store with tons of fish and corals in different varieties. This place is awesome and I think it’s the best in Denver.

Very clean store and displays. Fish all appear healthy and they have a large selection of corals. The staff are all very freindly and knowledgeable. They also generally have a pretty decent stock.

I love this place so much. The people there are awesome, the prices are great and they helped me do a water test. Their selection, atmosphere and music were touch notch. Keep it up you guys!Update: still awesome. Since I made this review, they've helped me get rid of dinos (absolute success) and they've given me tips on getting rid of aptasia and flatworms, those 2 are still a WIP, but that's just because they're so classically hard to get rid of. Still def recommend.

This place makes me sad I only have freshwater aquariums! I came in here for some Seachem ParaGuard after having found this store on Seachem's website listed as a dealer. I had called around to the (mainly) freshwater stores that I frequent, and their prices were $10 higher for half the size!!While I was here picking it up, I was amazed by how clean and well laid out this store was. Everything here seems happy and healthy, and the staff are pleasant as well. Can't wait to get into the saltwater side of things so I can become a frequent customer here, instead! I had started believing fish stores were cramped, overstocked, and dirty with half dead fish- but this place is changing the game! This is a very nice establishment. You can tell the people actually care about the hobby, not just the profit.

My favorite saltwater fish store in the Denver Metro. Once a month or more I will do a tour of 4-6 SW fish stores in Denver. I always make sure Elite Reef is my last stop because I know more likely than not they will have either what I am looking for or when just browsing will more likely than not have something I want and take home. This way my purchaes don't have to wait long in a ice chest in the car while I hit up the other stores. But they make up about 65% of all my SW livestock purchaes. Some of the staff I feel like could learn a little bit more. I hear them (2 of the staff not the manager or owner) making not wrong persay answers to customers questions but not really accurate either. But the few answers I heard them make were minor and would not cause harm just prevented the buyer from getting something that could have helped them in their situation. Small things. Staff is always friendly and accessible. And this place is always my favorite SW fish store to hit up. And if I don't have 3 hours for a fish store tour then this is always the one shop I go to.

A couple months ago I wanted to get into the hobby and was referred here from a friend. I got all of my equipment, fish & etc. from Elite Reef and don’t regret going anywhere else. Along my short journey so far they’ve been very patient with teaching me as my tank progresses. Josh has been amazing and other staff that I’m unaware of their names. I would recommend anyone to come here!! Thank you everyone @Elite 🙂

The manager is wildly knowledgeable and helpful, super understanding as well, no judgement. The store is really clean and everything seems so well cared for. They seem to genuinely care about your tank, not making a profit, which is what keeps customers!

Staff is super knowledgeable and their house blend of frozen food is loved by all of our fish. Elite takes care in their presentation and fish husbandry and it shows. Clean tanks and great presentation of corals along with a wide selection of dry good.

I had a great time there yesterday while figuring out what I needed to set up a new tank. I often feel like I'm talked down to at reef fish stores, but these people actually chatted with me and showed me a few fish that would work well for my oddly shaped tank. I also bought a filefish there, it's looking a little rough, but acclimation sometimes takes a toll.Anyways, thanks for the help! And also thanks for being cool with me being there a tiny bit past closing time.

People mention staff is friendly, not from my experience, I’ve been there a couple times and staff not even acknowledges you, i purchased a few fish from here only because it was the only store that had them in stock otherwise I’ll probably buy elsewhere.

Highly recommend for anyone wanting to order specific fish. They have a great policy! One of the best salt water stores in COEdit: I had signed up for a fish and never heard back. Had to contact them just to eventually be told they lost my order so I dropped one star. Still absolutely love the store for both cleanliness and quality but pretty let down by the disorganization.

Great store! Clean tanks and healthy livestock. Beautiful corals too, although I have a FOWLR I still love too look. My fish devour their house blend of frozen food. They are very good about ordering fish for you as well, everything o put on the list has come in pretty quickly, some other stores I never even heard from years later lol. I highly recommend coming here you'll find yourself staying in there for a bit looking at all the pretty corals. Their coral cash saves you money too.

Went in for the first time today and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. All the tanks were in great condition with little to to no algae and no fish seemed stressed. They have a great diverse selection of saltwater fish that range from beginner difficulty to expert. Highly recommend this place.👍🏻

Still one of my favorite saltwater places in town. Staff is very relaxed almost to a fault. They are never pushy, and have some of the best frag prices. I have never purchased livestock here. They have a rewards program that (if you dont lose your coral cash) is a nice bonus.They treated me the same today as they did my first visit, respectful, knowledgeable, and love the hobby!

I started my reef hobby and I had no idea what I was doing or getting into. The guys here were extremely knowledgeable, and willing to give advise. I had been to other reef stores and this was by far the cleanest. The tanks are clean and showroom are are esthetically pleasing. I am looking forward to purchasing my coral from Elite. One of the best saltfish stores hands down. As a newby reefer, this place is awesome, and helped me a lot. They aren't just trying to make a quick buck off of you. They care for their fish and are very quick to help and advise you in the right direction with your reef tank. Everything in my tank is from here and I have no complaints. Awesome selection of stock and sick tanks to look at inside. Everyone is very knowledgeable and eager to help. Thanks.
