The cashier here was an old lady, I was trying to be very polite to everyone, but I was still not ready for the racist part.1 Why were you whispering to your colleague, the young man cashier at the next checkout lane?2 Why are you telling me that "I can't do it" while I use my phone to pay for this order? And I kindly asked again:" I'm sorry I don't understand, what do you mean by it? You can't approve my payment function?3 Why are you saying that:" I was checking out for a Doordash order but, you know I can't let it done here.I can't do that." Why are you mentioning Doordash to me? It was completely irrelevant to this situation... Basicly she stopped any action after I used my phone for payment, it shows " waiting for your cashier" on the screen... She just left me standing awkward at the counter, the line is getting long...I think, at least, being racist for a reason, please tell me your reason, is it because I am a Asian looking man? And I never used this word in asia actually.

Worst grocery store in Delta. Nothing is ever in stock, when you complain they don't fix it, they never have enough checkers, and their management reports things resolved to their HQ that aren't DO NOT shop here, do not support this kind of bad customer service and horrible experience

This store is amazing! The workers are awesome! Always friendly and helpful. The meat dept guys always assist anyway they can, guiding you to the best deals and great cuts. Other depth heads are just as awesome as the rest. I never have a problem with the deals ringing up correctly. The store is always clean and fully stocked! Cashiers are always nice and professional. The manager should be very proud. I drive quite a way to shop there because they have more to offer then other places. Thank you!

Super clean, great selections, friendly staff, beautiful flowers, and it feels like a friendly small town place, never busy. I have never left a review for a chain grocery store but it's really nice and clean here. Idk how anyone could rate low 😂 Here for 3 weeks on travel.

They have a LOT of good choices as far a products go. I feel they're over priced but when I need specific items they're last resort. Just don't have some staple items for a spice cabinet. Like Gumbo Filé. But they have 2-3 choices on every other spice.

So we are on our way to see our brother in Montrose got in a car crash went to Safeway to wait for a ride and they this manager Vanessa said we're were trying to sell drugs to customers I'm appalled by their actions and the management I'd fire her if she was one of my employees and was to manage people

Really only gets 2 stars because of the front manager Janice. She is not helpful at all with customer service problems, it seems as thought she just doesn’t want to be bothered by your problems so she will just say she “doesn’t know” or “they can’t do that” when I’m sure they can. The rest of the staff at this Safeway are always super helpful and kind though.

I love this store. The employees are great with little exception. We love the floral dept and the bakery. Butchers are very helpful. Checkers are fabulous. Having said that, I know it is hard these days, but yesterday my husband and I were the only people wearing masks except employees (one courtesy clerk had fashioned a clear one out of school supplies however).

It smells like a natural gas leak, informed the manager months ago, and still smells heavy in the front bakery area. Meat deals are good. A good selection of random things that are harder to find in a small town. But the prices are higher, and they play the tracking game to get sale prices. They also mark up the price such as meat normal $15/lb and the sale price is $4/lb to make it look like you “saved” more than you paid.

Everything went fine. I was in & out in a jiff. You have 3 major stores (corporate) to shop from, here in Delta. If you're on SNAP, right now those are your only options. Unless you enjoy grocery shopping at the Dollar Tree, where nothing is a dollar anymore.Like in a big City, you have to check prices & quality of products, and may find yourself visiting this Safeway from time to time.People were nice enough. And I found something I wanted. Although it wasn't what I was looking at online. Good enough considering what online says is in the store, obviously could be long gone when you arrive.

Bought an 8 piece fried chicken dinner, expecting the usual wings, breats, etc. Got home with 4 thighs and 4 legs. All overcooked and stale. Called and was told that was all they had at the time. They should have mentioned that. Would not have bought all dark. Wont be back.

Best meat, fish, eggs, service is great. Get all my flu shots there. Over all great place to shop, Entrance smells like gas leaking. Prices are about higher, but if you look for sales you do ok.

It was great. Wic is a bit difficult and couldn't get everythinng I wanted there coz again wic is picky... But every other time has been great! Their fried chicken is the best ive ever had from any store personally. Fruits and veggies are always super fresh and never go bad quickly at all like at some other stores. Same with their meet. Employees are always nice cheerful and helpful. Great store.

Fresh flowers today are amazing. Produce is always fresh and well stocked. Organic produce available and beautiful, not wilted. The bakery has good variety, also fresh. Deli has a favorite turkey breast roasted in store, not the processed kind. Love this store.

Workers are rude.. .. got some Mac and cheese from the deli... Omg it was horrible tasting I had to take it back and got a refund.. they guy at the deli even tasted it and apologized immediately.. they did make it right but I won't eat the deli stuff again after that .

They have decent sale prices. They used to have more Gluten Free choices last year. They have decreased alot of my favorites. Plus their produce section is not as fresh as I would like it to be. So that is why I didn't give 5 stars.

Store is clean and staff is friendly. I shopped here exclusively the first 5 yrs. after I moved to the area. I finally had it with the lack of people to respond to my requests for service and the extended time at checkout. I mean seriously they have probably 8 or 9 checkout registers and never more than 3 are open regardless of the line of customers. I tried last week to order a veggie tray in the deli. They sent me to produce because they said veggie trays are made there. Went to produce and wandered round trying to find someone to help me. Finally went to the service counter at the front of the store and waited there for help for 10 minutes. Several checkers saw me but never called anyone to assist me. I gave up. I'll continue to do my shopping at City Market where they never make one wait more than a few minutes without opening another checkout and every staff member you see asks if they can help you. Too bad because I can tell Safeway has tried to make this store more appealing.

It is The Best Store to get your Fruits and Salads All of Your Produce and Veggies 😊 unless you Pick them from Your OWN Garden!! The Store Is Always VERY CLEAN! The HELP is Wonderful unlike other Places Where you have to SEARCH FOR HELP 😕! IT'S The ONLY PLACE I GET MY PRODUCT'S FROM UNTIL MY GARDEN IS READY TO START HARVESTING!!
