It's a natural food store plus lunch sandwiches made with quality ingredients. We stopped to stock up on snacks and water, but was pleasantly surprised to find so much more! Super nice and friendly staff. Hope to visit again when I have more time. Open on Sundays!!!

What a gem of a spot to stop for groceries and amazing sandwiches in Del Norte. I had the tree hugger and my son had the Thai sandwich. The best sandwich I have had anywhere between Durango and BV. Glad we stopped when we saw the sign. The market has fresh groceries, local foods, vegan and meat eater friendly. We will stop here every time we pass through Del Norte, such a cute up n coming town.

This is a great health food store!They also make great sandwiches! We ordered a turkey, avocado, and cheddar on sourdough with yellow mustard, red onion, and lettuce. The sandwich was outstanding!

The valleys best selection of fresh, natural, and organic groceries, body, and home care items. The fresh produce was beautiful and the assortment was varied, this will be our new stop for many recipes with hard to find items. Fresh meats including harder to find items like bison and elk. Local brands like gosar. Asian, Italian, and Indian foods available. The frozen vegetarian and vegan options are so diverse, meals and snacks. We grabbed vegetarian Stromboli to try and can't wait. A wall of granola, grains, lintel and flours in a serve yourself setting. This is also the first place in the valley i have found milk bar products and that's incredible. We live 35 miles away and will make that trip in a heart beat, we no longer have to wait for a big trip to Santa fe or Denver to stock up.

We are so delighted to have stumbled across this store on our way through town! Delicious GF sandwiches, kombuchas, and GF lemon tarts for desert - great lunch in the road (and a nice clean restroom as well)!

THE grocer for organic, farm fresh, or hard to find ingredients in the San Luis Valley. What a treasure! We have been visiting Del Norte and South Fork several times a year since 2007. We always had to bring specalty ingredients with us, but no more. This wonderful store has brands that we can only find in niche grocers in Dallas. As you can see from the photos, they are partners with many local farms and producers in the area. This is our new default store for the valley

The Cali sandwich on Gluten free bread was amazing! It was so nice to stop at a store that serves vegan options and pick up a few grocery items too. If we are traveling through again wellt definitely stop!

I was only here for a road trip stop, but would love to make Simple Foods my regular grocer! Rue-Anne and the gang had just the right mix of granola bar, coffee (who else sells a $3 pour over??), and ice cream for my Labor Day visit. The patio was a delight, so I'll gladly plan another trip around their lunch counter and mega-fresh produce

The deli in this store was a wonderful find on vacation. The sandwiches were made to order and had fresh ingredients. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had! The ladies working at the counter were very friendly! The grocery store had a great selection of healthy foods too. Worth the stop!

This place is amazing and has the BEST sandwiches!! The BBQ chicken and Thai Peanut Veggie are to die for! They also have a great courtyard where you can hang out and enjoy your delicious sandwich. Cory was super awesome too!

I usually get organic produce here. The staff is always been wonderful. Today I tried one of their freshmade sandwiches, the Cali, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place not just as a great place to shop but a great place to grab fresh made lunch. I especially appreciate Haley and her good natured spirit in offering help to me. This place has good vibes and I love shopping here.

I am so pleased this store is here! I came in looking for bulk flour as an avid baker and am happy with the selections. I got a yummy clucker sandwich with a Dram cbd sparkling water for lunch. Just excellent all around!

Stopped for lunch on the way from Denver to Durango. We got sandwiches to go. They were so amazing. We were really surprised, one of the few food options in the area but best sammy’s we’ve had in a while! Employees were very kind as well.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time last week, at a local's recommendation that their sandwiches were great. It did not disappoint! Their deli sandwiches rivalled any sandwich I've had anywhere, ever (including Italy). Additionally, the store itself is amazing -- Whole Foods has nothing on them. Can't wait to go back!

What a great store with your health in mind. They have a small deli that was already closed when we arrived. They had sandwiches ready-made so we got what we wanted. Just loved the place.

Deli sandwiches are excellent, produce you can’t find any where else close by, bulk goods, health & wellness, cleaning products and clean beauty products. PLUS the owners are awesome. I really appreciate having this store in Del Norte. We always shopped there when visiting Salida and when I found out they were moving to the same town as me I called them at least once a month in anticipation of their opening. They continue to get better and better selection and I’d much rather shop at Simple then anywhere else within 30 miles (*or more) it’s rare they don’t have what I need and if that happens they will order and accommodate. Thanks for moving to Del Norte!

Excellent boutique grocery store. Lots of healthy variety. Some of the best dried fruit I have ever had. Stopped here for snacks instead of a gas station. Totally a good call because the staff were super helpful and friendly, the bathrooms were clean and we left with some healthy and delicious snacks.

Good vibes, indescribably delicious sandwiches (I thoroughly enjoyed my Thai Sandwich), and they've got a great selection of health supplements, organic foods, and healthy-looking quick meals! Oh and their bulk foods section is super well stocked too!! I'll definitely be back to pick up my specialty foods!
