Management here is TERRIBLE. They go through many different employees because very few people want to stick around to deal with their b.s. Corporate really needs to clean house and get all new management.EDIT: I still stand by my review about management, but upping the star rating to 4 based purely on their AMAZING pickle selection. I'm very impressed

DO NOT SHOP HERE. This place replaced the classic Jacks Market, which was absolutely incredible. And had been for years. And this owner came in, and the quality has slowly been dropping over the past few years. Checking expiration dates on literally everything is a must. And if the meat is 5 or less days from being expired. It has been… For like a week. The entire fridge smells of rotten meat. And the mass amount of cross contamination would make Gordon Ramsey faint. Do not buy meat here. And check all dates.Update: It’s 4 months later. And quality has dropped even further. I thought I’d give them another chance. But good lord. If anyone is looking for some free cash just go buy some meat from this place and eat it. It’s literally a lawsuit waiting to happen… I cannot believe this place is dumping such a HUGE amount of money into poisoning our community. This company is a awful. I feel horrible for all the poor souls that have to work for them. Dropped to one star. Wish I could go for -1

Update July 2023: they're in the middle of a remodel, and they don't have a lot of things yet. They have gone to digital coupons, and unfortunately no one asks you at the checkout if you have any coupons. Nor is there any kind of machine that you slide a card in or type your phone number to get the discounts. On top of that their prices are sky-high. Crisco in a can was $13.Old comment::Great little store. Prices are reasonable compared to the other store. They no longer have the fried chicken.

Kudos to the staff having to maneuver through the remodeling. The store has took on a new shine looks very nice inside. Love the new aisle coolers and freezers. Will be glad when the construction is finished yesterday was the worst yet trying to find a parking spot with equipment, construction containers, debri, people were parking across the street due to the limited parking.

I’m changing my old 2 star review into a 4 star after all these amazing changes. Well done!!!Prices are still insanely high compared to alamosa.Lazy Staff , It really is crazy there were 4 staff on hand watching my wife bag and load her groceries into the cart.She comes home and says it’s good to have a nice little grocery store. Unfortunately, the staff are lazy and just watched her do the service we pay for.Lowe’s you ALMOST got 5 star ⭐️

This is by far the worst grocery store that I have ever been to in my entire life. Who sets the prices here? White grapes were $2.19, the red grapes were right next to the white grapes but there was no price sticker on them so I assumed they were $2.19 also. Nope. I get to the checkout and they are $6.19. Wasted my time, their employees time, and the time of the people behind me in line because I am not paying $6 for grapes. This is just one example, this has happened to me multiple times there. Just go to Simple Foods where they at least put prices on their product.

The produce is questionable.The cashier was rude and patronizing.They ask if you would like a bag, then charge you for it without notifying you prior to or any signage.I called to speak with a manager to inform them that they should inform customers they will charge, but they left me on hold for so long I gave up.

This place is a joke. They plaster “We have low prices” all over the store to gaslight you into thinking you are not being robbed. It feels like every time I come here, the prices have increased more. They should really be ashamed of themselves, but I seriously doubt they are.

Neighborhood food mart in the middle of total renovatio, still a ness. Have remarkable selection of fresh, meats canned, & frozen products. Well stocked liquor store and camping supplies inside the store.

I loved it. It was my first time there and I will drive the 18 mins to get there instead of a little store near me 5mins away. This store is bigger, clean and has cheaper prices. I absolutely loved the employees there. The young man in the deli was so nice and so helpful and the same goes for the cashier she was sooo friendly. I love shopping here.

WOW this place is top notch customer service... I wasn't even shopping... I took someone because their car engine blew up .....to get groceries for their children.... after we finished shopping,.. only to realize she forgot her credit card so we had to drive all the way back home (South Fork) to get it ...and they kept her groceries in the freezer and waited for us to return they now have a new customer🙌 because I've never shopped there before and I recently moved here in 2018 ✅ so now I have a new place to shop 💙🇺🇲❤️

The worst management team I've ever seen. Corporate isn't any better. turnover rates are insane. Customer service is terrible..they also brought the liquor store here when NOBODY in the community wanted that.

Prices are out of this world over $3.00 for 1 Avocado, green and yellow peppers almost $4.00 each and they didn’t look that great. They know a lot of people are limited how far they can go if they can go at all they don’t have much choice it’s the only place for some people .Makes it easy to gouge prices.

This store does not carry products that they advertise in the paper. This is over pricing the products that they do have. This store and its owner does not care about the people in the community. I will drive 45 miles away from this store for 1 gallon of milk instead of paying this stores high priced products. The family dollar has the same cookies for a dollar less than Lowes market . In my opinion this store is stealing from the community.

Since they bought out the old Jacks Market, they've run our, what used to be great, local small town grocery store into the ground. Now a greedy corporate store with ridiculous prices on everything. They've monopolized the entire town of Del Norte. Ruined the liquor store. Doesn't have late hrs like every other store in the Valley. Both liquor & market stores. The customer service of their checkout clerks is sub par to put it nicely. I wouldn't go to this store if I had another option close by!!

Do not shop here! Every time I have gone in to shop, there are store employees and customers not wearing masks.Today I ask a stocker to pull up his mask and he said."You can"t talk to me like that!" I told him he was breaking a city ordinance and I talked to the manager, She said they had never been notified about any city ordinance but she would speak to the worker. Five minutes later I saw him without the mask again. It"s obvious that they don't care about their customers! There are other, cheaper stores just a little further away. It is worth the drive to patronize them.

Where to even start...The only thing Lowe's has going for it would be the employees.This store is cashing in on the fact that they are really the only grocery in town. That said, I'm sure most of the residents of Del Norte avoid going here for the poor quality and the ridiculous prices. But Lowe's really wants you to think you're getting a good deal...you're not.Did you know you can buy a pack of Charmin toilet paper for the low price of $20+tax? What a deal!The most disappointing thing is this store is the produce. I rarely see quality produce and have to settle and hope for the best when picking out items. All you can do is find the one that doesn't look too rotten and sad...I hate giving my money to this store and refuse to go here for anything other than a few (overpriced) essentials. But I would much rather drive to another town to get my groceries.

They are the most helpful and kind people . I am really impressed with there staff...I am so happy that Keith is the manager at low's market he is really looking out for the people.Keith is keeping the Price Of meats as low as he can.I wish other store manager were as caring about there community as Keith is.Best place to shop within five town radius...Thanks Keith!

Lowes Market is an ok Grocery Store. Perfect in size for the size of the town. I think yhe best part is the meat department. I love getting my protein from places that I know it will be fresh. I just wish it was family owned instead of a larger company.
