The BEST ice cream in town and anywhere I've had ice cream in a long time! Their chocolates are awesome too! I love all the little unique gifts and wide variety of t-shirts, sweatshirts and Cripple Creek merchandise, and I think the prices are very reasonable, especially for a tourist town! Great place to pick up a souvenir and get a sweet treat! Willow is the employee who always seems to be working when I go in, and she is a lovely, friendly, helpful person with anything that I'm shopping for (and we always wind up getting ice cream no matter what else we buy!). She scoops the best ice cream too--despite the freezer sometimes freezing up and making some flavors too hard to scoop. She tries very hard to please her customers (from what I've witnessed). It's a shame that tourists have encountered nasty people working there in the past, hopefully they've fired whoever those miserable people were! Take another chance, look for a beautiful, fashionable looking brunette named Willow and she'll take good care of you!

I stopped in on my way through Cripple Creek wanting some ice cream, and walked right back out due to the horrible thick smell of cigarette smoke. I was unaware that you could smoke inside anywhere anymore. Definitely not a stop for non-smokers or kids.

Willow was just the FUNNEST!!! SO MANY tempting choices to choose from! 🤤 I had the salted Carmel and it was delicious. Prices are so right too! :) ♥️

Went in for ice cream, and the place smelled so overwhelming with cigarettes that it was really hard to breathe. We thought it was customers smoking until after we were ordering our ice cream, we saw the lit cigarette in the ashtray behind the counter. The older lady who served us never washed her hands before serving us. She was a very nice lady but we were just turned off by the whole cigarette situation.

After reading these reviews all of the 1 star reviews are very accurate. The employees there were so dang rude. One customer asked if they had a busy weekend with sales and said that he bet they made a lot of money. Two ladies both said we didn't, unless you're the owner. We got some ice cream for our kids and they asked my fiance to pick a different ice cream because the ice cream was too hard to scoop. One.of the ladies basically moved us out of the way when she was trying to talk to another male customer. Then at one point told my fiances mom that this was not a kid friendly town, which we understand, BUT don't be disrespectful about it. I wanted to buy quite a bit of items from the store BUT decided I was not giving any more money than we already had. I understand people hate their job, but dang don't be rude to the people that keep this little store in business.

Stopped in last week with my family to pick up souvenirs. Found several wonderful items - some of them handmade by the store’s employees - for very reasonable prices. Even found a beanie with buffalo on it, for my bison-obsessed meta! The woman at the cash register, Willow, made the hat that my wife bought. Willow was friendly and flirty and an absolute delight. She even showed my meta pictures of her restored VW bus. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

Very nice store, but wish there was more variety with clothing and souvenirs. They also have absolutely amazing ice cream. However, I went basic and got vanilla with butterfinger. Absolutely amazing, highly recommend.

We were a little nervous to come to this shop based on all the negative reviews, but we chanced it and were glad we did! First off, the staff was perfectly nice to us lol. One lady even offered us samples of the fudge before we bought so we could get stuff we liked. But the fudge was pretty darn good, ice cream was good (yea we were getting our sugar rush on 😁) and the shirts we bought as gifts were decent priced. That’s it. I really just wanted to post a review to let you know to not be off put from the previous reviews on here!

If you’re gonna sell ice cream, make it kid friendly. Super rude, ridiculously fat lady, basically ordered us out of the shop cause I brought too many kids in and we were too loud for other customers. Funny though, we were the only ones there. I would never spend my money at a place with such a rude jerk working there. Listen, hop on a treadmill, lose some lbs, and start smiling at all your customers.

We walked in looking for t shirts from Cripple Creek, had not made it to the area where the t shirts were shelved and this white or bleach blonde haired lady walked up behind us snapping rudely at us saying she guessed that she would have to take the scenic route to get through! We moved out of her way and began looking at the shirts, I was near the stairs in back of the shopping area and she came by and I apologized for being in her way. We purchased almost $200.00 worth t shirts and decided to get some ice cream. My oldest grandson (16 years old) witnessed this same lady eating ice cream with a spoon out of the serving buckets in the cooler at the serving counter. (multiple times) She saw him standing there looking at the ice cream making up his mind and she turn to a coworker and says “I wish that family would leave they have been in my way since they walked in”. I confronted her about comments and reminded her that I had just spent $200.00 in that business. I will take my money elsewhere, I highly recommend you do the same. The lady that checked is out, her name was Willow. Willow was very courteous and apologetic for what happened.

Choose any other ice cream shop but this one! The man (middle aged with beard) serving ice cream was a nightmare. Unbelievably rude to every customer and banging on the counter when people didn’t order quick enough. I came here to leave a review and saw a similar review about this man from 9 months ago, so it is clear he wasn’t just having a bad day — he is just a jerk. Then, the woman making the waffle cones made the comment to us “you people waited all day to come here and we are exhausted.” It is the 4th of July, right before the Cripple Creek firework show. If they didn’t want business, they should have closed their doors. Horrible customer service. And the ice cream was sub par.

If you want to shop that has about everything you can imagine in it plus some tasty goods please stop here. I always collect magnets and stickers from areas I visit and then I topped it off with a delicious raspberry waffle cone. We will be back again for more tasty treats and purchases.

I love this shop. I've only ever had the lady with the Tophat as a cashier, and shes a doll!!! I love the fuge here. Soooo good! It's the only souvenir I ever bring home with me from Cripple Creek. ♡

My family visited Cripple Creek today to ride the train. While we were waiting, we decided to walk up the road to find some survivors. We decided to go into this business. Everything was fine, until we got up to the check out. My mother asked if they had batteries since the batteries in her camera died. The old lady at the register had a VERY poor attitude and was incredibly rude. Another employee had to come check us out because she was too busy talking to a local gentleman and giving us rude looks. I was finally able to pay and when we were leaving the store, there was a TINY sign on the BOTTOM of the door that said "NO PETS ALLOWED." Her poor attitude made since then. She not once told us that our very well minded tiny dogs were not welcome in the store. Mind you, 2 of them were carried through most of the store and the 3rd was kept on a tight leash! Had the sign been EYE LEVEL, we would've walked right by and gave our money to another pet friendly shop! Avoid this store and spend your Money at the train depot, where they actually have stuff worth what you pay for or go an hour south to Manitou Springs where dogs are welcome in EVERY store, no matter what!

The man working the ice cream counter was very mean and impatient. Has absolutely no business working a customer service job. Yelled at several customers and didn't wash his hands once. I don't recommend going there. I will never give that place my business again.

Walked in today planning to buy several souvenirs for the kids and relatives back home. While my wife was getting items, I stayed near the front door browsing some books. The two old white hair hags near the front door we're talking trash about various customers who had come in earlier, even going as far as referring to a pair of ladies who had come in as "trashy old hussies". They knew I was standing within earshot, but they just continued. I went and told my wife we'd get our souvenirs elsewhere! I refuse to patronize businesses who treat customers like this. There are plenty of other places to spend your money in Cripple Creek---and we did!!!

Went here just for ice cream and was served what seemed to be very old ice cream. It tasted like it was freezer burned and the peanut butter in it was chewy. Took a few bites and threw the rest of it away. I thought it was just mine but my dad and boyfriends was the same. Waste of money ended up throwing it all in the trash. Take your business elsewhere. 💩

Came in from out of town for my moms birthday and wanted to get a sweatshirt. I bought one thinking the size was perfect I got back to hotel to try it on and the size was not what it said. I called to see if I could get a refund she said they don’t do that. That’s not ok I am very in pleased with the service and that fact because it wasn’t cheap!!!!!!

Today is Sept 17th, 2017 Myself and one of our Grandaughters visited this store and loved every minute of it, when I walked in I said Hello Ladies and the two in the front immediately responded in a friendly and joking tone. To hear these ladies called hags turns my stomach, how rude and what a horrible person you must be to make that statement. We bought several thing visited with a sweet grey haired lady who owns a home in Puerto Morelos Mex. a place we go ofter. It's such a fun store takes a long time to see it all and if your chatty you will certainly enjoy visiting,!

this place has the best fudge I have ever had, The Butter Pecan, is the best, but the regular Chocolate Fudge with Pecans is so Creamy, I am so glad I found this place, it has been 45 years of fudge tasting.

This person breaks the law and takes advantage of people with no respect for personal identification. He has illegally retained possession of items including social security numbers and birth certificates. I would be leery about using any type off credit cards at this store. Whether he obtained this information through machines or out right illegally stealing someone's identity, I'm not quite sure....however I cant trust any place that allows for a person of such lowly sorts work there or has any association with such criminal activity.
