Wish I could leave a longer review but I don't have much to say. Absolute knock out the part. Iced coffee was great, sandwiches were massive and delicious. Chipotle avocado is the best. So glad I stopped here and really enjoyed the view of the valley while having my coffee. Despite being absolutely packed, the staff was not overwhelmed and very attentive and friendly. Really felt welcomed and relaxed, look forward to coming back again.

I stopped here with some friends because we had time to kill before Ice Castles. My husband and I shared:- Chorizo Breakfast Burrito- Maple Pecan Danish- Apple Crown Danish- White Hot Chocolate- Chai Tea LatteI was very impressed by their food. The pastries were my favorite (the apple one if I had to pick). The breakfast burrito was so saucy and good. Between the drinks, I'd go for the White Hot Chocolate. The chai wasn't spicy enough for my liking. If you're in Cripple Creek, I'd highly recommend stopping by for a snack.

It’s so great to see a younger generation of business entrepreneurs coming into the city and bring with them a more modern and current offering. Gold Camp is one of those local small town coffee shops and eateries you want to frequent! They have a modern atmosphere and vibe while still paying homage to the history and legacy of Cripple Creek. The coffee is what brought me here but it was the food that kept me here! I had a breakfast burrito stuffed with chorizo. The outer wrap was crunchy and bit heavy in a flour tortilla and it had a good amount of hash brown potatoes in it as well. Both of which I can’t process well, but for the regular patrons, this would be a hearty and warm and delicious combination all wrapped up in a massive breakfast burrito! I will say it was delicious! I’m a spicy fan so the peppers and chorizo have a good amount of “donkey kick” without having to add hot sauce. My wife had a coffee and pastry; warmed raspberry danish with a white mocha coffee. Let’s just say I’m in a good place with my wife! 👊. I had a cold shaken espresso. They knocked it out of the park. The syrups are premium and you can tell the coffee is fresh and prepared for you versus sitting in a carafe! Definitely THE breakfast spot for Cripple Creek. Thank you Gold Camp for a great experience and fantastic eats!!❤️👊

Good coffee and pastries. Nice cozy interior to sit, relax and enjoy your beverage with two exceptions: 1) the Highway workers use this as their coffee break spot. They are nice and friendly but there are too many of them at one time to get quick service or find a place to sit. So somehow you need to time your visit around intersecting with their break. 2) Tourist families with hyper children. Please encourage your children to work out their extra energy in the great outdoors that surrounds them and to use their “quiet” voice when indoors in small cozy places. There appears to be a good selection of yummy food that can be ordered alongside your beverage. However I didn’t notice menus anywhere that made a customer aware of this. For example, I only found out that they made smothered burritos after I had paid for and collected my beverage. I definitely would have tried this out if I knew they made them before I ordered.

Wives, bring your hubands here. It will make any sandwich you prepare at home seem a-m-a-z-i-n-g... by comparison! Food was fine. Neither great. Nor awful. Husband had Grilled Ham and Swiss Panini. I had the Fancy Five Cheese Grilled Cheese sandwich. Both were barely warm. There were 3 identifiable cheeses inside my sandwich, and one sprinkled and toasted on the outside. Both meals were served with four bites of salad completely drenched in a special house made dressing. There were two open tables. Both had dirty dishes on them, left by the previous diners. We sat at the one with the fewest dishes left behind. After a long time, a staff member came and cleared our table. No fountain drinks, Coke, or Pepsi products available. Staff reminded us that their specialty is coffee. Even though they have iced tea, lemonade, and bottled root beer.Vegetarian options: Salad and grilled cheese were the only two meat free options that I saw.Dietary restrictions: I'm pescetarian. All but two options had meat.

If you're in cripple Creek and looking for breakfast and coffee, highly recommend this place. Good food, price, service, atmosphere. I enjoyed my iced latte and strawberry lemonade fresh squeezed! We also ordered bacon burrito with green chili smothered and bacon eggs biscuit sandwich. All were delicious! They offered free WiFi as well.

We just left Cripple Creek after having spent a week there. We spent time exploring all around Colorado Springs & Canyon City. This cafe was our almost daily go to for delicious beverages, breakfast foods & bakery items. We met Liz & she gave us great advice for local hikes & fun things to do. Besides the mountains & memories made, the thing I’ll miss most about Cripple Creek is the Gold Camp Cafe! Items we ordered more than once- Traditional breakfast burrito with added green chili, biscuits & gravy, avocado toast, macarons, fresh lemonade & peanut butter cookies! Everything was fresh, yummy & served with impeccable service!

was visiting cripple creek for a weekend and went to this cafe twice. first off, the food was SO yummy. i had the avocado toast and the blackberry fan danish- both were incredible and i need more. secondly, the customer service was top tier! the super friendly staff recognized us from the day before and gave us free tokens to the local play that was going on that week. 10/10 would recommend a thousand times.

The breakfast sandwich and of course my fav Avocado Toast (except they gave me the end piece of the sourdough loaf) and the Expresso con panna … were excellent. 👍👍 Loved the decorations for Halloween… and it was warm in the sun outside eating al fresco. My fav local coffee shop. We will be back soon 👋

5/12/22: As promised an update on this fantastic establishment.Have you tried the lunch here yet?Well I did and I took more pics for all of you that are curious. The lunch is just as good. And the infused lemonades are definitely a must try .Steak and Sharp Cheddar Panini was great. flavor and quality was perfect. I do wish it was a little bigger but I'm a big guy and so that's a common thing for me to not get completely full. The Toasted chipotle Chicken quesadilla, was definitely thick and hefty. I didn't get to try it but am looking forward to doing so. as my buddy said it was amazing and loved the homemade salsa that went with it.Fortune Club. Was definitely beautiful I only got a bite of it but that one bite was stellar. Pictures of all the food I've tried here.ATTENTION EVERYONE:Are you looking for amazing breakfast and tired of being let down by subpar greasy food thats over priced in our area. Then look no further!!!!!!We had the chorizo breakfast burrito and the sausage breakfast burrito. Cooked beautifully, bursting with flavor , reasonably priced , not greasy at all. As someone who loves food and has a culinary back ground. Im so happy to find somewhere that actually cares about the food quality.I had the regular drip coffee and even that has a very beautiful flavor to it. She had the huckleberry white chocolate mocha and loved it as well.If you want breakfast you better stop by and try this amazing place. Cant wait to come in for lunch. More pictures , videos and reviews to come from me. Excited to be excited to go somewhere.

This is, by far, my favorite restaurant to date in Colorado and this is high praise coming from me as I've lived in Austin, New Jersey, and just outside Detroit. I'm a self proclaimed foodie & have traveled exstensively-and let me tell you, Gold Camp Cafe is absolutely delicious!!! The pulled chicken salad, the toasted roast beef dip, the yummy chili, and custom lemonades are incredible! Highly recommend you get a chocolate croissant on the way out and a blackberry lemonade ! Terrific service, fresh nutritious food, good music, and a laid back atmosphere. Will keep coming back, and you should come too !

I live in Las Vegas, NV. But my parents live in Florissant, CO, about 20-30m from Cripple Creek. Every single time we visit, which is often, we go to gold camp at least once. I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop! It's probably my favorite out of anywhere I've been. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, and clean. Prices are decent. All the staff is so friendly. All the food items we've tried have been absolutely DELICIOUS. And the coffee is my favorite, for sure. I wish I could have it ALL the time! Their lemonade is really tasty, too!!I finally bought a bag of their beans to bring home and I'm drinking them right now lol. Not as good but close enough for when I can't be there. If you're anywhere near Cripple Creek, you just HAVE to make a stop at Gold Camp Cafe.I think the only negative I have about this place is the amount of salad you get when you order a sandwich. It's always like 5 or 6 pieces of lettuce and that's it 😂I, highly, suggest their shop and food at The Mercantile, too. It's right next door to gold campI was in town last week and noticed they're putting in another business a few shops down. Looks to be like a lounge of some sort? I'm so very excited for that, too!

We're spending the day exploring Cripple Creek while on vacation. It's a little cooler than expected and I was craving a warm, delicious latte; Gold Camp did not disappoint!I ordered a Salted Caramel White Mocha Latte with whip cream. I don't want to leave!!! I've yet to taste one from an indie coffee shop that is better than Starbucks. Well, let.me.tell.you. Gold Camp delivers!!! Above and beyond!!!! The manager is sweet and friendly to boot!!Dietary restrictions: They offer oatmilk!

Line was almost out the door when we arrived around 2:00pm. Finally ordered and the lady at the register was having a hard time due to it being her 2nd day and getting slammed with customers (not her fault, she had a positive attitude and was very kind!)I requested no mustard on my Ham and Swiss panini, it came on it at first. Mark remade my sandwich very quickly and it was good. I also had a hot white chocolate, was warm, but not hot-hot as I would expect. There were dirty dishes all over so we had to move them to sit at a table.

The atmosphere of this place is very clean, warm, and inviting. The menu was just the right size, and packed with unique and delicious sounding items. They also have a mouthwatering display of pastries and cookies staring you in the face, so good luck not devouring 3 of those during the short wait for your food. They have an extensive beverage menu featuring various coffees, teas, lemonade, and more.I had the fancy parmesan-crusted grilled cheese (with added bacon) and I am not joking when I say hands-down the best, most flavor-packed grilled cheese of my life! These people clearly care about the food, and everything else that goes with a great food experience! We'll be back for sure!
