It literally looks like it's the end of the world in there. It's dirty and stuff is everywhere. They even have a shelf that looks like a sale area, but then you look again and it seems the employees just didn't want to put stuff away and it all ended up here... I would give negative stars if I could. There were several employees just wondering around doing nothing.

I went in to day to grab some food. There was a big sale going on so there was a pretty big line. I didn’t really care. I stood there for 30 minutes. The line didn’t move one bit. I guess they were having a problem with the register. There are two registers, and there are multiple people in the back sitting on their phones, but only one person working at the register when there are two. The line was pretty big and I think that they should’ve helped. Please hire better employees!!!

The male and female cashiers that worked the night shift tonight (no name tags) were extremely rude and very unprofessional. The male told my children they were treating him like a servant, the female implied that my son was trying to steal sunglasses that he was clearly just trying on and checking himself out in the sunglasses mirror, by the register mind you. I am typically not “that” person and it takes a lot for me to share a negative review but this was horrible. My family and I are in this store almost daily and I have NEVER been treated this way. We are long time residents in this little town and family dollar is usually our go to. We can typically look past the condition of the store because all that aside the employees are usually awesome. I don’t know where these two new cashiers came from but they are not good for business. The female cashier gave me a false number when I requested the managers contact information, when I returned to ask for the correct number she told me to use Google and then threatened to call the police! I was calm, not raising my voice or using profanities, I even told her thank you politely as I left the building. This was not necessary and extremely unprofessional. This store survives on the residents of this little town and if customers are being treated and talked to this way, I’m afraid there won’t be any customers left. Store management needs to address the professionalism of the workers when management is not present. The male cashier looked like he just rolled out of bed and was either extremely tired or extremely high.

The people are friendlyfor the most part The store is an absolute total mess but I believe it's probably cuz they don't have enough help cuz not enough people in this country want to work anymore. they have everything you need there just like Family Dollar always does. you just have a hard time finding it.

Usually when I am shopping at this location I can not even walk down any the household isles. I also can hear the town gossip or how mistreated the employees are, all by the manager.Today, it was peaceful to shop the store.....the entire store. The shelves we're nicely stocked and the isles were manageable.I am happy to hear that there is a new manager at this location.

Staff is horrific. I witnessed an employee talk terribly to 3 customers as I decided to put my things back and listen. Turned out to be a manager no less. A disabled person I met outside and found them to be a veteran of Iraq at that. This isn't the first time either. Read the reviews. Do yourself a favor as I did...take your money elsewhere like to a family owned business not a chain. Cripple Creek unfortunately has been bought up by chains or out of state corps and the friendly service has diminished considerably. Been here for decades and see the decline. I had the displeasure of listening in as I advised a customer to contact management and the district manager was appalling. "OUTRANKED THIS FORMER VETERAN." Basically, too bad so sad. He should be fired and this store closed. I put my things back. I drove the extra several miles to spend my money elsewhere and so should you. There is a grocer up the street that is always friendly and has everything this Family Dollar has anyway. Again, I myself have been treated worse than a bother to those behind the counter, but this last experience will be my last. If one doesn't like their job, they should get a different one. 3 customers spoken to like burdens when they are the employee's paycheck is ridiculous. Management that is far removed and ill suited to client retention nor responsible store oversight. I feel for those that go in as we all know it gets worse with time and when there are no consequences. Drive by and go where you're appreciated.

For the most part the store is good. Getting better with more employees working there. Had a shortage over summer. I would have marked this as a 4 to 5 star but had bad experience with cashier today not listening to bagging request by a disabled resident then telling her he knew what he was doing. Not acceptable to treat a ccustomer like that. I also work in customer service so I know.

This place was very messy when you enter the store. Not sure if it was just when we came in or all the time. Some rows were blocked completely by boxes for restalking. The register girl was nice and doing her best even though another customer/employee interrupted her while she was checking us out.

Cashier stole a $50 gift visa card I bought there. She loaded the bag. When I got home, no card. Not in car. Went back and asked to see the camera footage. Was told manager had to approve. Left manager a note to call me. Went back for 4 days, no manager. No call from manager. Left complaint on web site. Called corporate, could not find district manager. Wife had no birth day present.

Wow what a change!!! It's so nice to walk in and see the products on the shelves. No more boxes in the isles love the change thank you thank you for bringing back our family Dollar again to where it should have been all this time kudos to the new manager you're rocking this

I was at the Dollars Store in Cripple Creek, Colorado. I try very hard to go as less as possible. There are signs on the entrance door and at the cashiers that per city and state ordinance you must wear a mask. I am a high risk person and I wear a mask and would appreciate others do too.. This rule is never enforced and over half of the customers don't comply. Everything else is great.

I hate family dollar in general. This one is almost as bad as the ones in pueblo, although the one here doesn't get robbed nearly as often.

My visit here went particularly well. I felt the store was a little bit cramped. There were boxes taking up space in the aisles too. I found everything I needed fairly quickly. It was cheap too. Not a bad store at all.

The store is a wreck... boxes everywhere, nothing put away correctly ,hard to get down the aisles the outside is even trashy. The employees are unfriendly, extremely lazy as they get annoyed when you interrupt their conversations so you can check out about things that shouldn't be talked about in front of customers or especially at work. The store needs an entire overhaul of management and employees..

I went there yesterday with my grandson and we couldn't believe the chaos. Shelves with unrelated items just thrown about. Filth and miscellaneous items all over the floor. Someone is going to trip on the filthy, torn rug at the door. I can honestly say that I have never seen anything like this before. Who owns or manages this disaster?

The only thing good about the Family Dollar here is the couple of new employees. This store is absolutely filthy and disorganized. The same boxes of products has been sitting in the aisles for weeks! You can't even get to the products you need!

If you had zero stars, that is all this place deserves. Filthy in and out. Empty shelves everywhere. Racks in every aisle blocking the ability to walk. The company should be ashamed of this store as most people in Cripple Creek are.

The place was a disaster. The customer service was friendly and they did seem overwhelmed, but something needs to be done. Carts of freight everywhere, product strewn about the aisles, trash everywhere.It had snowed and the parking lot was not shoveled and the sidewalks were not salted and it was very dangerous.

This place is beyond awful.... They are lucky I'm giving them 2 stars... Only because I know it's not the people who work there's fault. There isn't a manager and they don't have enough people working to take care of the place. They are behind so much that every single storage load is sitting in every isle in brown boxes stacked on dollies. It's sad.

They have a sign on the door that says that you MUST WEAR MASKS before entering, yet I have yet to see anyone including the employees wear masks, practice Social Distancing or appear to care about the Health and Safety of others. However, they're the only local store that carries tidbits of a variety of necessities within a short distance from home.

Staff wasn’t friendly. The place was a mess. Most items were not in the right spot. They don’t have price tags on all items. When asked for a price check. Was told they would have to ring it up like I was buying it when I’m done shopping. Piles of cigarettes outside. Floor looks like it hadn’t been sweepped or mopped in years.

This store is so dirty messes of boxes every where. This was the worst family dollar I've ever seen. Boxes stack on metal carts. Sorry won't shop here again.l slipped on trash on the floor. Didn't shop or bought anything!!!! This was a horrible experience guys. Shame on u for letting it GET LIKE this!
