Staff was great and very nice, clean enough for a small town place. But $3 for a potion of fries akin to a small fry at Mc. D?! They are literally frozen fries, the entier bag costs that! I get making a profit but the entier 1/2 a hang full they give you is awful.

On a cold rainy day we got a hot meal here. They have a limited menu of sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc but everything was tasty. There are a few tables both inside and outside. The convenience store sells groceries and fishing equipment. Loved their selection of ice cream. The ladies who work there are friendly but don't rush them or try to pay before the food is done. The only restrooms available are port a potties outside.

Hands down the best little stop on Highway 50! They have it all, deli, hardware store, grocery store, you name it they got it. This store has been in operation for almost 100 years. Stop in and check out all of the memorabilia. You will not be disappointed. It's more then a store it's also a museum of history and a tourist destination.

Certainly more than just a petrol station. Well stocked store and hot food and snacks. Add to that friendly and helpful staff 😊 Room enough to fuel a 30 foot RV and drive through to return to Highway 50.

It's like stepping back in time. Nice country store in the country land of Cotopaxi. They have a full deli that will make you some delicious food which you can enjoy there or get it to go. Super nice folks and they have a good selection of household items.

I always go to the Cotopaxi Store when I am visiting my folks in Howard. I had to stop for GAS at 2am and paid at the pump Thank GOD 🙏They have home cooked goodies A Deli. I bought A Colorado change purse and the store has a necessities food to superglue. Customers Service with A smile and Gift shop 😊. Just stop by and have fun browsing ❤

Small convenience store in rural Colorado. Thought there might be some interesting local crafts or gifts items but did not find these. Everything was marked up more then other regional convenience stores we stopped at. Gas was about $0.30 a gallon higher than gas stations a few miles away. Ultimately selection of beverages and snacks was about average.

The food is good. My burger was good and all the toppings were fresh, the Frye's were crispy. I was super happy I got the burger for breakfast, no rule about what you can order at what time. I will be back for breakfast burgers and fries. The store is less impressive.

Stopped here to refuel my bike after riding up Hayden Pass. Ordered a cheeseburger inside and got cold drink too. Good people inside. Interesting collection of Americana items on various shelves. Will stop again.

Love this little store so much!!! The best stop for both hot and cold food, a great selection of necessaries and super friendly staff. There's always locals here, but for us it's the best last stop before jeeping and camping, love their BLT!!!

The store is biker friendly, and great service. It has a little Cafe, and good selection of beverages. It's a nice place for a break on the road.

If I could give no stars I would. My husband and I are locals. My husband works for Fed-ex and covers this area. Not only are the 2 women who work there extremely rude but if he goes in to heat his lunch up (mind you its the only gas station any where near his route) he has to buy something. So he services their area and is treated hateful but can't even use the microwave unless he buys something. Don't give these people your money wait until you get to Salida. Much better people , nicer gas stations and competition that keeps people honest and typically friendly!!!!

Amazing! The deli server was top notch! She made us a well needed sandwich and wrap that was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, price was more than right and exactly what we were looking for because we needed to get more fly fishing in! Stop in, you won't be disappointed! EXCELLENT!

Excellent store to stop at if you're traveling through or live locally. These folks always have a smile and are very professional. The kitchen produces delicious food any time of day. 9 times out of 10, they have the best fuel prices within a few hours drive.

Welp, we walk in no one says nothing they just gave us werid looks. I grabbed a 20 oz soda walked around to see what else I wanted before we hit the road. Omg! The prices! The lady cooking seemed overwhelming annoyed that we were looking at the menu. so we just went to check out and that lady overwhelming annoyed that people where there shopping. Paid for my soda forgot to get gas but just kept driving to Canon.Word of advice: happy customers spend more money, Canon was happy to see us and we were happy to give our money.

What a great one stop store. They have a little bit of everything. From fresh food, Hardware, to all your oil and brake fluid needs, ice cold drinks and friendly faces. Me and my husband ordered a hamburger with cheese and it tasted amazing the store was very clean and smelt good. There are lots of things to look at. Plenty of Novelties and gifts.

Very cute store. Service was great. And the muffins are to die for. And they have porta potties open to the public. Which is nice. We traveled from Ca to Ga and trying to find a place that doesn't have there bathrooms locked down because of the "virus" can be quite a challenge.

Absolutely LOVE this store. They are equipped with just about anything. And the fresh baked pastries are tasty. My son's enjoyed fresh made from scratch carrot cake. And the husband devoured the brownies. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I will be a returning customer.

There's not much variety in the way of hot food you can order at the counter, but the cheeseburger is juicy and delicious every single time. It never disappoints. They also have a wide range of snacks and cold drinks. Campers and general travelers will find all sorts of supplies and goods one wouldn't expect to find here. You'll pay a little more because of the location, but it's quaint and quick.

This store survived the the pandemic rush on toilet paper and other goods better than ANY store in the surrounding cities. They really do have everything you could need. The people that run this store are still freedom loving red blooded Americans and aren't some Salida yuppies or anything, so you don't have to wear a mask.

It is your typical backwoods kind of store. Had pot I potties outside for use, and like everyone I have ever used needed servicing. The coffee tasted like it had been cooking for six hours and kind of weak. Went no further the that. Was not going to eat anything.

We got our wedding cake here! Anne did an amazing job. We asked for red velvet and It was so delicious! Who knew you could get such a professional wedding cake at this little store on hwy 50. Thanks again, I would recommend this little store for wedding cakes. Ask for Anne!

It never ceases to amaze me that whenever I need something at the last minute for my house building project, this store almost always has it! And you can get breakfast or lunch there, or groceries as well. I also love that they have retained the old original look of the store; it has character that most stores today do not have. Great little store.
