This place is awesome. I found a grinder/bud holder/ one hitter/with a magnifying glass on the lid with lights to examine the greenery here. Everything is worth the price here and the employees are very nice and helpful. 5 stars from us. Thank you guys for all that you do.

Been coming here a few years now from Deep South Texas. I'm from Vernal so Cortez is a strategic location. In the years I've used your service's all ya'll have never had poor quality product ( maybe a bit dry) Your tenders are always polite, professional and usually laugh at my jokes.. Your Military discount is the best I've seen in the entire Cortez, Marcos and Durango area. Just wish ya'll could keep Gc in stock.. Even during this democratic attempted overthrow with mandatory communist directed business shutdowns. It was a pleasure purchasing from ya'll. Even if yer Coast Guard!! Go Army. Plotted. Scouts Out.

The buds are beautiful and tasty. There's always sales including concentrates as low as $7 a gram. Their tour is something definitely worth going on, as you can ask the head grower and management growing questions and look at how the magic is made. The highest shop in town is definitely a place to visit for all your cannabis needs.

By far one of my favorite Dispensaries. Have been shopping here for a few years. Good selection of products, with some of the most friendly, upbeat staff. They are knowledgeable, as well as always have good stories to go along with their experiences from their product! Very clean and organized store/grow. Pretty good store. Average variety of edibles but I can't speak to other products. Friendly and informative staff. Average prices. The unique thing here is they grow their own organic plants in the back. You can smell it when you drive up. They will give tours of the garden... Easy to find. You can't miss the green cross flag up on the hill.

Jackson was our bud tender, he was very helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. This will be my shop of choice in the near future.

The state said that I can use my expired Colorado Driver's License until I get my new one. I talked to a lady about 20 mins ago at that store. She said that it's not good enough. I will never be a customer there again.

My bud tender recommended Kryptonite and I was not disappointed. Excellent strain. By far the best dispensary in town after making a few rounds. Always friendly smiling faces. The daily specials are fantastic as well as the love for vets.

Well, my first review is not showing! Here is the original post:Unprofessional sales persons. 2 teenages looking for ripping off people. Bought a product that contains much less quantity than labeled and cannot get even exchanged. Make up excuses for not exchange or refund. Don't trust this shop!!Google never informed me why my review was not showing up, so I have to post again, plus updates.Update:I just received a email from the management. Obviously they feel nothing wrong with the way they do business. He said it's the law that once you paid them, no return or exchange as soon as you are out of the building, and their building doesn't include the parking lot.So good luck guys! Now you know what you are buying into. They can sell you empty bottle, poison or sewage scum and still get away from it because it's "the law". I am not sure who's running that business, maybe they do love their products too much and thinking their customers are nothing compared to their "precious".Am I having a personal grunge against this business? Well, I never gave a 1 star review to a business in my life until this. And I don't really care about the money I wasted. What I am angry about is the way they do business, and the lie they told me, both from the sales and the management. If you ever know a law in Colorado says this kind of product cannot be returned or exchanged once you are out of the building. Please tell me here and give me the link or quote. I will retract the whole review and apologize. But until then, I will keep my review up here for all to see.

My boyfriend and I are in Cortez on vacation and stopping here was an amazing experience! They do tours at 2pm and you WILL NOT be disappointed. And they gave us free stickers. Best dispensary visit we’ve ever had. Thank you guys!!

The best place to go for flower! They have amazing home grown. I’m a huge fan of the Kryptonite and Girl Scout Cookies. They have great deals on concentrates too! I have smoked ONLY Herbal Alternative flower since I’ve tried it.Herbal Alternative is never affected by flower recalls, They have their own QC standards that exceed the minimum requirements. They care for their product and it shows. If you care about your health, you should also care what goes into your bud!They welcome my service dog Bear with open arms, pets and love every time I bring him. He cries in the car when we pull in because he can’t wait to see the nice budtenders.Thanks for being an amazing, caring facility. Your dispensary is my absolute favorite out of any in town. You got a loyal customer for life.

Oliver gave me a tour of the process and blew me away.It is the only dispensary that I have been to that everything is processed in house(everything)none of the plant is waisted. So you can purchase the freshest of anything from the precious plant."The Herbal Alternative" well They Know How To Grow!!!I have traveled the West Coast, across the desert, to the Rockies visiting dispensaries and "The Herbal Alternative" hands down know what they are doing. Excellent quality, excellent staff, so really if you want the real deal treat yourself saves loads of time trying to find that special favorite stop, or if you are from out of town head straight to "The Herbal Alternative" This is the place......Pure love for the plant...Thanks for the tour Oliver I will never forget it!! I've been to multiple places as I prefer to smoke at home. I use for both medicinal as well as recreational. Therefore I buy ounce at a time and The Herbal Alternative had the driest of All the other stores in my last visit. If I get the same again this week, I'll definitely let you know.

Sold flower to my boyfriend that was obviously not ready, basically what I like to call premature. So don't buy Jabberwocky, has no affect at all. Really disappointed. Great service but not good bud this time. Hopefully this does not happen again.

I'm still sitting in the parking lot, they refused to honor the prices advertised on their website and were very rude! If its priced as so on your website which I have pictures then you have to honor that seeing how I am only the customer and you are giving incorrect information to your customers and potential customers.I'm going to leave multiple bad reviews everyday until noone wants to shop at your store!!!
