I went to get a Rx they said an hour and I asked if they could send a text alert when it was ready, they said yeah no problem. Well I never got the text alert and finally just before close I went in and it was ready and nobody bothered to say whoops sorry or anything. Terrible.

It would probably be faster to get a chemistry degree and make your own prescription drugs. This place is horrible. Rude, unprofessional people that shouldn't have a customer facing position.

Don’t go here! This used to be a good pharmacy. However, since about a year ago they have gone downhill. The current pharmacist is rude, they take 2 days to fill the prescription and many times you have to call to remind them to fill it. I hung in there for a year thinking they would get better but I will be switching to a different pharmacy now. The drive through is nice but half the time it’s closed. Trust me, the convenience is not worth it.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how good of service I have received by the entire Kroger family. In moving back to Cortez, by prescriptions were being picked up back and forth between here and Northglenn. Kroger made it easy and this staff has gotten use to my unusual and changing prescriptions. Always friendly, though also quite busy, they have never failed to answer my questions as my needs change.

For the most part, I'm satisfied picking up my prescriptions here, however; there is one female there that had no idea what she was doing or talking about. She was rude and she claimed my insurance did not pay for the generic version of my prescription. I have been picking up the generic version for years with no problems. Also I think it's kind of unprofessional of them to claim their lunch break starts at 1:00 but if you show up at 12:48, it's closed. I don't think they should be going on lunch early if they claim their lunch break starts at 1:00.

The staff are always friendly to me. The only complaint I have is that they take awhile to fill prescriptions. Maybe they are short staffed. The pharmacist always takes time when I have questions. I like that it has the drive through. Just be sure to order refills a couple days ahead.

This pharmacy’s customer service is horrible. I went in 4 separate times to pick up a much needed prescription. The first time they didn’t have it because it had been sent to my old Dr. in Alaska! My Dr. in Cortez sent my current prescription to them twice! I went in a fourth time to hopefully pick it up, they said they had to order it because they didn’t have the 100mg I was prescribed, but they did have the 50mg. I asked if they would please give me a few of those until the others arrived. They refused. By this time it was nearly 5 days since I had taken my medication! I asked to speak to the manager. All he did was yell at me, refused to listen, nor even try to help me. He accused me of being rude. I was so upset when I left there, I broke out in tears in my car. I have been a loyal customer to Smiths, Kroger, etc. for 30 years. I was so happy to see there was a City Market in Cortez when we moved here 6 months ago. I am moving all my prescriptions from this pharmacy today as a result of this very upsetting, inexcusable ordeal.

They don't answer the phone. Kept bouncing back & forth between obnoxious music and endless ringing. Gave up after reading other online reviews and had the prescription transferred elsewhere.

I left Walgreens as my long-term Pharmacy to come to City Market because I heard it was better but my experience so far is pretty subpar. First of all they did not fill all of my prescriptions and then told me three times to come back for one. Secondly the first time I went there I was openly ignored while the female pharmacy tech was openly flirting with the male pharmacy tech ignoring me for good 3 minutes while I waited at the counter. Today I tried to go back and get the prescription that they didn't get for me yesterday and was told I have to come back after 5 because the pharmacist isn't in. I think I'll just be transferring all my prescriptions to the hospital. I really tried to give City Market my support but clearly they don't care about me as a customer.

If you need your script in a hurry, do not use them. The lack of communication between employees is a problem. I went back four times within three hours for antibiotics. Went back to Urgent Care a second time by the second time they didn't have the prescription, the nurse called in, and they still claimed not to have it when I went back the third time.

These folks always do what they can to assist me! If you're patient and kind, they might even help you in a pinch. Thank you Krystal and City Market Cortez Pharmacy for all your hard work!

I worked in this pharmacy 16 years if we had ever had customer service like they do now we would have been fired!!!! The gentleman(pharmacy tech) hates his job and is soo rude huffing and puffing and rolling his eyes if you ask anything if him!!!!! I like getting the gas discounts, but this pharmacy sucks now it isn’t even worth the gas discounts. The people at the hospital pharmacy are friendly and very helpful. I will transfer my prescriptions to them and give them my business. They never have anything in stock and don’t even inform you if they are out!!! My son has a Regular prescription he has to take forever and do you think they ever have it in stock nope nope nope!!!!! Sure wish Houston and Tom were still there best ever!!!!!!!!!

I was discharged from the hospital 21 days ago after a heart attack. I called my PCP and he sent prescriptions for the three medications, that I had been placed on when I was discharged from the hospital, to City Market Pharmacy. I would have had the prescriptions sent to Humana, my mail in pharmacy, if I knew that I would be on them forever. After receiving a text that it was too early for one of them, I was sure I’d get a text about the other heart med, so I waited until around 4:30 to call. This was on Sunday. I was told that the prescription would be in the next day. I said something like “Oh, you’re you’re out”. Now I worked at Professional Pharmacy for five years way before I became a nurse, so I do understand running out of a drug, but we always got a replenishment order the next day or the day after that. The pharmacist told me that “maintenance” prescriptions were sent to.an offsite pharmacy to be filled. I told him that I was down to my last pill on two of them. I had no real assurance that this heart medication would actually be there on time. Later I realized that my new prescription for Lipitor had not even been addressed. I took my last pill for that prescription last night as well. I use the mobile app, and that drug was not even listed as being received. The doctors office told me that it was called in at the same time as the two heart meds. I called the pharmacy and asked them about it. They said it wasn’t refillable for eight more days. I explained that the first prescription was only a 21 day supply. He said ok he’d get it filled and it would be ready tomorrow. I said I needed it today. He then, with what I would call an over extended clipped voiced replied that he’d get it, but it wouldn’t until late afternoon or evening. Now remember that all three of these prescriptions have been called in last Tuesday. That would have given them six days to take care of these medications. So instead I find that one was sent to an offsite pharmacy because it was a maintenance drug, and the other one was put on the shelf because they thought it was too early. when in their computer, ishould have shown that the Lipitor was only a 21 day supply on the first prescription.I feel that if a prescription is called in to city market pharmacy that it should be filled there and not sent to an offsite pharmacy just because the pharmacy at City Market, in their wisdom, deem a prescription to be a maintenance drug. They have no idea what I had just gone through, they have no idea what I’m getting ready to go through, and they have no idea if this wasvgoing to be just a brief trial drug, or if after my heart cath in two days I would continue those medications or be placed on a new drug. If I thought it would be a drug that I would be on regularly I would have had the doctors office call the prescriptions in to Humana. I am not very pleased with this situation. If I have a prescription called in city market pharmacy it should be filled there. The next complaint is the attitude that I get every time I called City Market to check on the status of a drug, because I have to arrange for someone to pick it up. I haven’t driven since before my rotator cuff surgery, so I’m pretty much at the mercy of whoever I can get to go get the prescription. That’s another situation where they have no idea about what goes on in a patient’s attempt to get the prescription I call that a customer service attitude problem, and unfortunately it’s the attitude problem of too many businesses today.

Tried to pickup a prescription for my daughter 45 minutes after the doctor called it in. They said it would be 30-45 minutes more. 30 minutes later they told me the pharmacist was on a break with no updates on when they could actually fill the prescription. They seem to be understaffed and not worried about how long you need to stand around to get a script filled.

Went through drive up window to get my prescription cause I injured my foot. Walking is hard right now. Anyhow, got there and forgot my cell phone. Which they have a sign on the window saying to call for help but with no phone I couldn’t. So I waved at the people trying to get their attention. Finally got somebody. And they rudely point to the sign and said they would not help me unless I use my cell phone to call. I told him I don’t have a phone. Then they said they won’t help you and you just walk inside. Worst customer service ever. Injured people or sick people should NEVER have to walk inside.

Called asking about a previous prescription, talked to the male pharmacist and he gave me 0 answers to my questions and when I asked his opinion on other medications all he said was "we're about to close okay?" And every time I would try and speak he would just interrupt and say "okay. Okay. We're closing okay." Very rude and unprofessional.

If I could give them a negative I 100% would. I called 3 days before my diabetic son needed insulin. Went in today to get the insulin and they didnt even fill it, he was taking more then their instructions said (thats what happens with T1 Diabetes). So I had to call my sons doctor and had to get new prescription, We waited for an hour. Then was told the doctor didn't send it over but that they can lend him 2 pens. You dont lend someone medicine. I called the Doctor and she said that yes they had sent it and she was looking at the refill as we were talking. Thanks to City Market Pharmacy now we are sitting in the Emergency Room because my child didnt get his insulin.

My prescriptions were called in on a Friday and I went to pull them up on Saturday. I was told that they would be on Monday's delivery. Instead of assuming that's OK, how about you call the person affected first and see if that's OK. I will be without my medication for a week now.

I’M NEVER GOING BACK!!! I can’t give it less than one star. First time heart med called in by my Dr. on Friday had to be ordered and wouldn’t be ready until after 1pm on Monday. On Monday was told “It didn’t come in, should be ready after 1pm Tuesday. If you really need it today, we have it in stock and can have it ready in two or three hours”. Say what??? Went in on Tuesday after 1pm and was told it hadn’t come in but should be there sometime tonight.

Went in at 6 pm to pick up a script that was supposed to be done at 1. The pharmacy tech said it was going to be a “while” and wouldn’t give me a time estimate. Said she couldn’t help me because customers were behind me. The script was sent in before they opened that day and its a pre-packaged script so it should have been done. Needless to say they’re losing my business.

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I left as.soon as hospital pharmacy opened. They can't answer the phone., notify you when prescription is ready or get it ready within 2days. I won't go into how fantastic the hospital pharmacy is because I don't want them to become overloaded.

I was waiting for a prescription due to a back injury and when they were supposed to open someone came out with a sign saying they do not open until an hour later. Why would you not just directly post this so you do not waste anyone's time? Quite frustrating especially being in pain. I will go to other pharmacies in town from now on.

Would be ZERO if possible. Prescribed steroids for pain after surgery. Was supposed to have famotidine for stomach. Was NOT given this until 4 days later. Meanwhile stomach was in terrible shape from steroids. But wait. Theres more. Called a prescription in on a Wednesday. STILL NOT READY ON MONDAY! Turns out they send all prescriptions to DENVER Ato fill. Will now look at my rx insurance to see where else I can go. ZERO.

Terrible time management. Always under-staffed. Called two hours ahead of time for an estimate on my prescription as I live out of town. Was told 1 hour max. Came an hour and a half later to find it hadn’t been started. This is a regular occurrence.
