Love to see what's new at Big R Farm and Ranch Supply. Especially the boots and shirts. They also have many choices for dog food and horse feed.Come up to Conifer and cool off from the hot Denver Summer weather. It's 20° cooler up here. They even have a customer Lounge where you can relax and eat popcorn! Check it out. And ask for Isabelle if you need help finding something.

I love this store! Such a great selection for everything you need. If it wasn’t fit this store it works be almost an hour drive to get some things. Staff are always super nice and management is also always very attentive. Every time I walk in I’m always greeted!

Feed store, hardware store, and western clothing store, with snacks and drinks. What more could you ask for? Guns and ammo too! If you haven't been here, put the key in the ignition!

I don’t think I could enjoy the staff of a small retail store more than we enjoyed these guys! The manager that helped us make a purchase was SO nice and accommodating. All of the sales associates were so helpful and patient. We really enjoyed shopping here!

We used to shop here regularly.Yesterday, my 9 yr old son and I headed to the animal food section and a Rottweiler barked loudly and out of control and tried to charge us from the side. Luckily, we were able to slowly slip back into an aisle.There were other customers who were visibly concerned and angry.The owner had it on a leash, but, it drug her. She sweet talked to it like it was a 5 lb dog who was “just being silly!” That’s what she was saying.This is ridiculous to have to experience this inside a store. That dog was not asked to leave. It was a ticking time bomb after that.Good luck and be careful.We won’t be back.We’ll drive down the hill instead.

WOW! This Big R had so many products! They even have guns and ammo! The staff were friendly and helpful, and we came out with more than what we we're looking for! Loved the store for years hadn't been back for a while, but my oh my this got better with age!

Original: This store refuses to accept a valid US passport with vehicle registration for a background check on FFL transactions. Had I known they would not follow ATF and CBI regulations I would have chose a more helpful FFL dealer in the area.Edit: Received the review response posted below first thing next day, though no direct reach out. Figured I would call Mountain Guns nearby and they verified they would accept above ID. Furthermore, they were willing to cross the road and do an FFL to FFL transfer to clear up the mess. I then called Big R to confirm the desire to have the FFL-FFL transfer. Upon calling, spoke w/ Bob (original interaction). Bob took ownership for the mistake and said we could proceed with IDs provided. After coming in, Bob did all it took to learn the separate process and spent a good amount of time digging in.Long story short Bob did what it took to make things right and really put up a fight with the knowledge and systems he was provided. Larry also kindly assisted and kept Bob and myself company by chatting on other products and such as he could. Ultimately everything was good (as expected) and transfer was complete day three. Was a learning moment for all and I get it, CO state ID is easier, I'm just in between getting renewed and looking to acclimate and zero a new rifle before a competition shoot. Did feel a bit like the 'whisper' of the store coming back in day two, like everyone assumed I was doing something wrong. Many side chats and check-ins with glancing occurred which was uncomfortable and unfortunate. Regardless, I'll continue to support. Thanks to Bob, Larry and Linda.

This store is convenient to where I live, so it's been a go-to stop for horse, dog, and farm supplies since we moved here a year ago. I've had intermittent problems shopping here - cans of dog food that were black inside, an item that was accidentally left counterside, a system for picking up shavings and equipment that means that sometimes you'll receive service and sometimes you're just left standing outside. Returns take a manager, managers are only there in the morning, and I've never had a defective product accepted for return. I now drive to Murdoch's in Littleton - yes, it's a long drive, but I get better customer service, cheaper prices, and no hassles that require management.

I have been a satisfied customer at this store until my last purchase there. I bought a cub cadet snowblower and it was assembled poorly. I brought it back to the store for inspection, which was a lot of time and effort on my part. They looked at it then told me they don’t do returns on power equipment. No attempt made to fix or replace anything. They don’t even stock the correct shear pins for the machine. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service! That is how you loose customers!

It sounds weird, but, Big R is a fun store. My daughter especially loves going in to see everything. She like the little kid shopping carts, the free popcorn, the neat toys, and especially the baby chicks when it's that time of year. We've always had great customer service and the prices are reasonable!

I bought a chain saw last week and they started it but did not check to see if it would idle. So it it won't idle and I called the store and talked to Jim the manager. He told me he would not exchange the saw even though it does not run properly and is only a week old. When I tried to explain to him that this is wrong he hung up on me.

Ollie, Angela, and Vanessa are all extremely nice and helpful. Want to give an extra big thank you to Angela for going above and beyond. Love the store and service.Edit: went back to fill my propane tank on my camper and experienced a pretty rude douche. Wish I had got his name but going from 5 to 3 after that experience

I love shopping here. Awesome selection and friendly staff. They carry plumbing parts I couldn't find at Ace which saved the day for my RV repair. Also convenient for filling up propane.

Loved every minute of it! Mrs Terri was an amazing help with finding thing, and she has amazing taste in helping my wife with changing her wardrobe.... I'd like to say to everyone that shops in Conifer Colorado at the Big R Store, to ask for Terri! The Big R Store was wonderful, and has excellent customer service... I have been buying dog and cat food here for over 2 years. I bought my dog a "highly digestible treat" and my dogs got very sick from them. I brought what was left back to return and they would not honor it. Not to mention they never offered to carry out dog food while I was pregnant. Not shopping here anymore.

I've been here a few times and mostly friendly. I called to see if they offer online shopping and if I could pick up my items at this store. The girl I talked to, Sarah, said "I don't know" and that was it. Not very helpful. I would rate it a 1 star based on that alone, but I have been in there a few times and it is not terrible. I don't have any options of going anywhere else, otherwise I would.

I found what I needed. Although I did search a bit. No one was in clothing section to assist me. Good thing I knew what I was doing. I was disappointed to find out that I had missed a big sale yesterday which I would have saved 25% off of what I bought today. Oh well. Nobody's fault but mine for not knowing about the sale. I like having a Big R store here.

Store was closed for easter but didn't update their date and time online. I made a poi t of checking their listing before I drove 25 minutes to get here. Will just drive directly to the big box store next time, at least they're open and update their hours online.

I was really excited when this store first opened. It was great. They carried alot of things that I need for my farm. The staff and managers were great and very helpful. Then Big R opened another 20 minutes down the road in evergreen and the conifer store began its downhill slide. The shelves are always empty the staff is constantly new and I've had to go to the Evergreen store for staple items like sweet feed, cracked corn, and oats when conifers shelves are empty.

Never bought anything here but I walked around one day to see what they had for sale. Lots of grilling and outdoors stuff, some Wrangler jeans and of course guns and ammo. That's pretty much what I expected. It looked like they had a decent amount of dog food too.

Staff is always friendly, and the store has a decent inventory. It is sort of like a cross between ace hardware and a ranch store. Clothing.. Candy.. Farm animal food, and hardware. Prices are very reasonable with sone really good sales.

I am not a fan of this location and much prefer the one in Evergreen.They never seem to have what I want and oftentimes run out of stock of an item and have no clue when it'll be in stock again.We tried to special order something and were told a manager would contact us, but we instead played phone tag until giving up.

Great and local farm, ranch, and tack supplier. Their prices are very fair, especially compared to driving down the hill!I've bought Stihl parts (they had them!), cattle panels, fence posts and miscellaneous other hardware,Great service from friendly people.I'll be back.

Don't go here for chainsaw repairs, don't ask questions about chainsaws. Sold us the wrong chain for the saw we bought there, then refused to cover the damage they caused to the saw. General staff is not trained, unaware of what products they carry.
