Very cheap, affordable prices, but with that in mind remember, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! Especially when it comes to buying any type of meat. I would not recommend buying any meat here at all, even if it is really cheap. Its just not worth it because the majority of the time the meat they sell is pretty old and nearing or already on the sell by date. Other then that if you are a bargain shopper and don't mind buying generic brand goods then this place is perfect for a baller on a budget. Like I said earlier tho, when it comes to buying meat, trust me, you are way better off going to King Soopers and paying jus a bit more money for a way higher quality and grade of meat.

09/2023 Wow! Expanded and rearranged tight areas since my last visit. Looks amazing! This will be my regular shopping from now on! 2021 I like the local feeling of this store. Always very clean, no matter the time I go in. Checkout is quick even if there's several customers in each line, plus they'll operate another register to speed things up even more. They always have what I go in to buy and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

I would never go here at night it was going to be 8 p.m. . Morning cashiers are always nice and i have never had a problem..but today, This lady was in a pretty bad mood . My husband got some bread and the moment we were going to pay the cashier asked how many pieces he had and he said he didn't count them. And she told him " next time you come in count them" in a annoyed tone . I don't see why she couldn't count them any way, I could of said I had 10 or 7 and either way she had to make sure to see if I have the actual amount .after today I don't really want to come back.

Women opening the store was absolutely rude and unprofessional she cussed and called me names as she opened the door because it was jammed and apparently that was my fault? Never had an experience like this here before.

Needs updating on all ends..growing up it was Hi-Low supermarket and was the best meat department in Denver now it's a shadow of it's former glory..Rude staff, unorganized, and very dirty..Sad days for beautiful downtown Derby.

Nice people and place although they didn't have the sale item I went in for that's mostly my fault as I didn't get there until 20 minutes before they closed. For some reason I thought they closed at 22:00 but I was wrong. They close at 21:00. That's 9 PM

If i could give this store a negative 1 star review i would.The meat section is terrible,disgusting.The meat is always black.

Not one employee asked if I needed help finding something.After walking down each isle I went and stood by an employee for about 5min, nothing. When I did ask her if they had what I needed she rudely said no,and kept doing what she was doing. This store was not friendly at all.I will go either to the one on 84th ave between Pecos and Washington or the one off of 80th and Sheridan.

Super nasty place, I went to just grab a few quick items because I didn’t want to drive down to king Soopers and as I went passed the cheese they had 3 or 4 large bags of Mozzarella cheese with mold and the top melted/ watery. Half their flour tortillas also had spots of mold.... I honestly wouldn’t shop here again and I also went ahead and shared on Facebook the disgusting bags of cheese they had there..... trust me the extra 10min drive to Walmart or King Soopers is well worth it.Don’t shop here!!!!!

Did not have what I went for. And the store is very run down. Out of 8 employees only 1 greeted me and that's when I was headed out the door. Miss when this place was Hi-Lo!

Great place to find discounts on food items, you can beat high prices here as well. We get filtered water for only $.19 a gallon and 6lb ice is only $.99.

Cashier name candice was rude. I come here often hoping she is not always the cashier cheer up girl or get a different job not everyone is unhappy like yourself. Other then her store is an ok place.

Treated me like I was a criminal the moment I walk in the entrance...and refused to get me my drinks for me, I will not leave my backpack for everyone to look in it or for someone else to take it and they say they have no responsibility for it🤨😒😤😠😡🤬

This place has an extensive selection of fresh fish. The produce section has the best quality of fruits and vegetables. The normal supermarket selections are standard and fairly priced.

I went in for a few items and the meat counter was closed said they were at lunch at 3PM and over heard some employees saying that person was unloading a truck. Don't you think they should have a different person unloading a truck and not the same person behind the counter serving meat😫. Won't be going there soon. And not everyone was wearing a mask.

I like Save-A-Lot but this Save-A-Lot was not the one that I liked you walk in and you get a pungent odor of smells like rotten meat other than that I liked the store not the best one I've been in though so I'll give it two Stars

Poorly stocked store. This used to be called "Hi-Lo" before it was Save-a-Lot, it was a very good place to shop, but now, I am not sure if I will ever go back here to shop.
