40 minute wait for 8 pills that's bad customer service not slow

I feel like people are so blind and can’t see that the employees at this pharmacy are literally RUNNING around trying to get all the prescriptions filled. You can see they are understaffed and doing everything they can to keep up. The drive through is always almost empty!!! Rarely is there more than 1 car in line. Residents of Reunion are a bunch of snobby jerks. Keep quiet Karen! I really hope someone at this pharmacy sees this and realizes how great they are

By far the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. It doesn’t matter what time of day or how many people they have back behind the counter. They move at a snails pace. I sat in the drive thru behind a car for 30 minutes and never moved, just left. They’ll tell you you’re medicine will be ready by one time online and then when you show up to pick it up it’s not ready. They ignore everyone standing there. And my personal favorite is taking the drop off people ahead of everyone in line to pick up their prescriptions no matter how long the line is knowing they haven’t been waiting like everyone else. Now I’m back and the line is still long and no one is being helped.

I rarely review places unless my experience is so terrible I feel like people should be warned. This is one of those places. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I’ve gone here for the past 3 years because my options are so limited, and it’s a nightmare. You can call ahead days in advance and they still won’t have it ready, which has happened to me more times than I can count. Or I speak to one tech, and another tells me something different. Or it’s my fault that “the automated refills go into a folder they didn’t check.”I can understand staffing issues, especially in today’s world, but honestly that’s not my problem as a customer anymore. It’s been so bad for so long and I have no more sympathy. I rely on you for the medications I need to function, and you let me down.Kudos to the couple of techs who have lasted working there. I don’t know how you did it but bravo.

Oh, my gosh!1. SLOW service (close to glacial). I understand if you're busy, but you can at least acknowledge that you have a customer standing at your counter. 2. I have had to remind them of my prescription plan almost every time I've gone in. How many times does it take someone to enter your information for their system to remember it?3. I've only been treated rudely a few times... a few times too many since their surliness was due to error on their part! The last fraying of my tolerance was going to pick up a prescription on Friday that had been called in to them on Thursday. They acknowledged that they had received the call on Thursday. But when I arrived after work on Friday to pick it up they hadn't filled it yet, and went to check their stock. Then I was told that there wasn't enough on hand to fill the prescription and the time of day had passed for them to order, they'd order the next day. Shouldn't they have checked their stock on Thursday when they received my prescription? I wasn't too worried since I had enough to last me through Monday. I called Monday to make sure it was there only to be told that they can't order over the weekend and they could put in the order today. You'd think the person helping me on Friday would have known that, right? My prescription plan is with Kroger, so I would have no other choice but to drive at least 8 miles to another King Soopers and hope their pharmacy was more competent.

Literally the slowest pharmacy I've ever dealt with in my life. They are on a 3 day wait for new prescriptions to be filled (and even refills), and that's solely because they are short staffed. They've consistently blamed staffing issues as their delay. When you pick up prescriptions either inside or through the drive through, it's a 45 minute process. Yesterday, after the 3rd attempt to pick up a prescription, I heard their staff YELLING at a customer because they were stressed. I get it, being short staffed is hard, but maybe leave the job if you can't manage.

Normally I use a different pharmacy, but our pediatrician had this on file from an emergency a few years ago, so I figured I'd keep it for the day. When I walked up to the line, the two kind people in front of me gave me a fair warning that the service is terrible, the staff are inefficient and rude. Figured I had no choice at this point, so I checked with the younger lady working to make sure they had my daughter's order. She said yes, give us 45 minutes. My husband came back 2+ hours later and they still did not have it filled. When he asked why, her response was "Do you see how busy we are?" Pretty sure if you worked a bit more efficiently, you wouldn't have a never ending line. Get more staff if possible, or at the very least, re-train the employees that you do have. Use a different pharmacy if you can!

On hold for almost 9 minutes just to be hung up on.9.6.22 another frustrating experience. Went this a.m. to pick up a prescription, hadn't heard from them that it was ready so I showed up to find out what was going on. Mary said that insurance was covering my prescription, but they didn't have it ready and I should check back after 12:30 p.m.. Walked up at 1:30 p.m., David told me that they did not have it ready still because they are waiting on a prior authorization. It sure would have been nice if Mary had told me that so that I didn't waste another trip with my sick daughter back to the pharmacy today.

New to the area.My medicine was sent on Thursday. Called Friday to make sure it was there. It was supposed to be ready today (following Sunday). Nope, not ready and never ordered. In addition, I travel for work and all the things I can do on the weekends, I do. I always keep a schedule to pick up medicine on Sundays. The lady told me, well, you have one more day until it runs out, in that case, you should have medicine to last you through tomorrow. What??... and when was it a companies responsibility to provide a paid service on their own opinionated discretion? A pharmicies only concern should be providing on time pick up services.I was surprised at such an unprofessional response. This was the first and last time I use this place.

Critically careless and bordering dangerous at this point. This isn’t bread and milk. From antibiotics, to chemotherapy, seizure medications, to blood thinners and blood pressure medications to prevent strokes and heart attacks….I typically use a military mail order pharmacy to save money and time, however there is a specialty medication for my condition that can not be ordered through the mail, and has to be compounded and made at a pharmacy. I never wait until the last second only because when it comes time to refill, the prescription goes to the pharmacy closest to me that actually has the medication. Unfortunately, on more than one occasion it has been this pharmacy. King Soopers in Commerce City off of 104th and Chambers.Today, when in the past I have been told four or five times they are “X” amount of employees short, or “Y” amount of prescriptions behind, I asked if my medication that was called in early last week was ready. My physician called first, specifically asking if it would be filled by the end of the day or mid day of the next, and only after verification of such with the pharmacist, sent the prescription. Well today… after calling, the person who answered the call told me no, it was not ready, and before I could say another word, she spat, “We are over 400 prescriptions behind. Over two weeks behind.” I told her that this medication was supposed to be ready last week Tuesday, and timeline was verified by the store pharmacist with my physician. The only reason I have been ok, is because I don’t wait until last minute. At this point, I will not have anymore medication within 24hr.s.This has been a chronic issue. Honestly, I am so sick of the excuses. What initially was an explanation that I understood with empathy and understanding; staffing shortages, burn outs, transit and goods delays… with no proactive action at all, it’s just seems like excuses. Dangerous ones. Again, this is medication they are handling. Not milk and bread. AGAIN, antibiotics, to chemotherapy… seizure medications, to blood thinners to prevent stroke. Do better King Soopers, or shut down this pharmacy… I’m so sick of excuses. Your attitude and rudeness as well? Have you tried a dose of your own medicine? It’s not pleasant.

Super understaffed. Holy hell these people are over worked. They could use someone to fill in. The line was long enough to have people birthing and dying of of age in there. There were 2 people back there, plus the pharmacist. They are saints for dealing with all the angry people in line. Took us a lifetime(1.5 hours), with appointments to get through. But, the pharmacist was nice and I had plenty of angry customers in line as entertainment. To the staff, you guys keep at it. You are underpaid and over worked. To the company managing it, you are messing up hard and should fix something.

This pharmacy is incredibly slow and I can't say they're the most friendly either. The only reason I go there is for the gas points but I think that's almost not worth it anymore.Update: Two years later and this Pharmacy is still horrible . I waited AN HOUR in the drive up. Their excuse? "We're short staffed" Not my problem. They helped every single person in line inside before they would even help anyone in the drive up. I don't know who's running this place but I'm done.

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to!!!!! It’s the WORST! Drive thru, you always got to wait 20 minutes or more. Even when I go inside the store, I still always got to wait. Every time I pick up my medication, they always say it’s not ready. EVERY TIME!!! The funny thing is that they call me saying my medication is ready but when I pick it up, they tell me to wait 15-20 minutes because it’s not ready. Why even call me saying it’s ready?!?!?!?!?! As nice as this Kings Soopers is, the pharmacy needs to get better.

This place deserves 0 stars. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had at the pharmacy. I had to wait in line for half an hour because nobody wants to help the line that is growing just to be told they haven’t started it and I have to wait 20 to 30 minutes. I came back a little over 30 minutes later and was told it has not been started and I need to wait another 30 minutes. The staff is rude and un-attentitive I don’t care if the next place is an hour away...go there instead. It will take less time. The last time I came here, they ran my insurance without even having the medication so I couldn’t even attempt to get my medication elsewhere. Worst pharmacy I’ve EVER been!!

Crazy Slow in the drive through lane. Usually have to wait for my prescription to be ordered in from elsewhere as they don’t have much on hand. When i go in through the store i can usually get seen. Staff knowledgeable and kind.EDIT: People are not very nice anymore. but this is really the only option in this area. they’ll take lunch 10 min early so make sure you get there way before their closing times if you want them to do anything

I respect that this is a really difficult time. King Soopers absolutely needs more staff. I take a med with 2 separate dosages for the same medication. Last pick-up, I was not given the second bottle. This required me to split up the dosages and I ran out in 15 days. My doc called in on a Monday. Meds not filled; I'm assuming the system didn't trigger because the system would think I still have 15 days. I called on Friday and they are doing everything they can; however, I waited for 30 min and my meds aren't ready. Now, I will wait another 20 min or longer. This is a med I cannot miss, to do so could result in hospitalization. Staff is overwhelmed, customers are crabby (myself included). King Soopers - support your staff and customers.

My first time sending a script here and I only did it for the drive thru benefit since I was COVID positive. Not only was the drive thru closed because of lack of staff but my script was sent over on Friday and when I came in on Monday at 10am IT STILL WASN'T READY. I came back at 2pm and IT STILL WASN'T READY and was told to come back in an hour. I came back at 8pm and yeah, IT STILL WASN'T READY and the excuse I got was she was the only one there. You had 5 employees back there at 10am and regardless, YOU HAD ALL WEEKEND to fill the script and failed to do so. Customers shouldn't have to come back 3 times in one day and then again the next morning just to get a prescription. I have never had such a poor experience and will definitely transfer back to my original retailer. Just shut your pharmacy down because you either don't have enough staff or your customer service is that poor.

Incredibly bad service, long lines due to reduced check out lines open. Ignored when you bring up any concerns. The only reason they are still in business is the lack of competition.

WORST PHARMACY EVER! They consistently want to say my prescriptions are too soon to be filled when my doctor is calling them in directly! Instead of calling my doctor to verify, they would rather just reject it and say it’s too soon to fill. Every time I would have to have my doctor call them again to get them to fill it, and then they would. It left me without critical medicine because I had to have my doctor call (an already called in script) a second time. I filed a complaint with DORA on them because it was so bad! Unfortunately, they are allowed to be that lazy and rude! It’s just AWFUL!!!! Go ANYWHERE but there for your prescriptions!!!!!!

Probably OK if you rarely need anything at the pharmacy, but if you make pharmacy trips with any kind of regularity this place will drive you mad. Their automated refills don't work, and I've tried signing up for them on the phone as well as in person. Never trust any kind of time estimate on the phone: keep calling and asking for an ETA until the response is, "it's ready for you now". If you're trying to coordinate anything between the pharmacy and your doctor's office, be very prepared to be the middle man through the entire process. Set the bar low, don't believe anything until you have confirmation your prescription is ready and accurate, and this pharmacy will be fine for you.

Worst pharmacy I have been to. I have never been to a pharmacy that was soooo slow and the people are so rude!!!! Asking for your prescription is like asking for them to break an arm. Marsha is the rudest tech I have ever come across. Doesn’t deserve 1 star but had to put 1 to rate. Don’t even think about using the drive through you will be there for ever.

Doctor called in my daughter's antibiotic around noon today. I called at 530 to make sure it was ready and she said 30 minutes. This pharmacy is very unorganized. I'm calling the Manager of the store because apparently nothing is getting done. This happens to me and my family all time. Do we really have to transfer to Walgreens? Or another store? This is the last straw, my baby really needed that amoxicillin tonight and now there's 20 people in front of me.

The people working at this King Soopers Pharmacy are very arrogant and rude! I have been shopping there for a little over five years now and it has stayed consistently that way. People that are at the Pharmacy counter need compassion not rudeness, especially during a pandemic! I hope that they change, because the grocery workers have always been just the opposite.

Pharmacy is terrible. I went in on a Thursday for a prescription I was starting on Sunday. They said it'll be 45 minutes. I waited in store and 1 hour & 1/2 later they said they didn't have the prescription but it will be ready tomorrow. I went to pick it up on Sunday and they said the prescription is on backorder. I asked them why they didn't call me Friday or Saturday because i'm suppose to start the prescription. They gave a call to my doctor and left a message. This pharmacy doesn't care if you are suppose to start your medicine on a certain day. The lack of communication is baffling. Stay far away from this pharmacy!

This pharmacy is ALWAYS slow. Took them over 6 hours to fill a perscription. In addition, they often times do not have medications that are super common in stock and subsequently they have no concern for the patient, assuming waiting 3-5 days for said prescription is okay. Simply time to change staff and retrain in ordering and customer service.

It's the day before Thanksgiving and there are a ton of people in line waiting for their turn. Been waiting a good 15 mins myself. I'm next up in line and one of the pharmacy techs, tall blonde girl, waves her friend to the front of the line past everyone who had been waiting and proceeds with getting her friend in and out.How do I get in on the special treatment list? Please let me know! Also King Soopers, please hire more pharmacists! You see these people stressed out and overwhelmedeveryday. So they don't need someone like me pointing this childish behavior out that one of your techs is letting her bestie cut to the front of lines, because they have too many other things to worry about. Hire professionals.

I can't believe how many things went wrong just to fill one prescription. First they told me it would be ready same time next day. When I went in, he told me it would be 30 minutes, which also wasn't true. When I went back again, they said they needed to get a hold of my doctor because the amount was wrong. The final straw was that I got a call the next day saying it was ready only to find out when I got there that the automated call was made by mistake. AND the prescription was twice as expensive as what they told me the previous week. Save yourself some time and money and go to CVS

Spoke to Dawn on the phone she said both my prescriptions were in just needed to put lable on one. When I get to store they tell me they dont even have the other prescription in stock. Dawn came up and would not let me speak, she just kept interrupting me. I waited to speak to the manager and she said she would take care of it. The next day, I kept calling and being put on hold then they would hang up. I finally just went in and another pharmacist was being rude and rolling his eyes to the customer ahead of me. Why pay people who obviously dont care about their jobs and push business away. I will never go here again. Dont have these problems at Walgreens.

Blame management not the pharmacy staff. Management won't get them help hire people when they are short handed. People working in pharmacy are over whelmed with never ending lines. They work so hard. They are nice to me. Today I waited in line 12 in front of me when I got up front there were another 20 behind me.

Extremely rude staff. Act as if you are asking for their first born child instead of a prescription that you are paying for when you ask for your medication. Actually unbelievable these employees still have jobs. Would definitely recommend this King Soopers upgrade their employees or they will continue losing business at this location. Calling my doctor to switch my presciption to Walgreens as I write this.
