I love shopping at this location. It is always really well stocked and the cashiers are always extremely friendly. I have also had great experiences with their delivery and pick up options. They keep the store in good condition and the layout is easy to follow. The only thing I would change is just maybe more carts that run smoother but that is just a personal preference. There is also a good amount of safety measures which make you feel safer while you shop and walk to and from your car.

I've lived in the area for about 3 years now, and I have never had a good experience here. Often times they are out of basics like milk, and bread. I have never been able to order a birthday cake for anyone in my large family, and it is never a quick visit - there are regularly lines lasting 30 mins or more even for 1 or 2 items. Unsuprisingly, after a call with their corporate office nothing has changed. This store is a running joke in the community; so may people laugh about how bad it is while shopping anywhere else. Dont bother with this store... shop elsewhere.

Terrible management.on a weekend at 9am 20+ people in line for self checkout. Can't open any additional self checkout since they don't have any other cashiers to supervise you checking yourself out. If your going to have us do all the work anyway open all the lanes.

Clean, airy, and bright, this is a great Soops as it has all that I expect PLUS more. Staff was nice, prices are fair, gas station is clean, food selection is great. A really wide selection of foods, including standard fares to eclectic and artisan cheeses, meats, crackers, noodles, organics, and international foods as well. This store includes a good selection of housewares and small appliances. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Prices are comparable to other large chains.

It's a shame such a beautiful location is being ran so poorly. There is simply not enough staff for the level of buissness being ran. It takes 30-60 minutes to checkout which is absurd. Tonight there was one lane open. The cherry in top was how condescending and flat out disrespectful the manager was. I have 15 years of customer service experience and I have never treated some one so poorly. She must of been having a terrible day.

You are a fool if you wait in the huge lines and actually pay for your groceries. I was shopping tonight and witnessed 2 very intoxicated people filling a cart. They tried to steal the groceries by escaping out the back door with them but could not exit so they filled their back packs with the stolen groceries and ran out the front door. I told an employee and they said it happens all the time and if they intervene they they will be fired. I understand they don't want their employees to get hurt, but by letting criminals roam their store and steal anything they want hurts the whole community. Obviously word is getting out and more criminals and drug addicts are coming to steal and destroying our whole community. If your store is attracting criminals then all your customers and staff are less safe. Now I am nervous I will get attacked in your parking lot.I then stood in a line that was 20 people deep because the store as usual was understaffed to pay for my groceries. I guess all of us are shmucks for standing in line to give you our money when we could just walk out without paying and not worry a bit about being arrested.

The lines!!! When you're the only grocery store in town I think you could likely afford to have more cashiers available. The U-scan lines go halfway down the aisles because regular lines are barely manned. Also, they don't carry Del Real Molcajete Verde Fire even though they carry the same brand's red salsa. I'll have to find another store that carries the salsa Verde. And the parking lot is so beat up that carts rolling over the surface create a head rattling noise! So loud! I almost tripped once when a cart wheel got stuck in one of the ruts.

Even though this is the closest Kings for us... we rarely if ever shop here because of the staffing levels and how small it is compared to our community. Once we are done shopping it always takes an additional 20-30min just to check out... That's why we travel an additional 15-20min to the Kings on 136th and Quebec... that one is much nicer, bigger, and better staffed. Hopefully Kings opens a newer bigger Kings on Tower... Plenty of room to build one

I'm at this King Soopers weekly, for the past 4 years or so. For the most part it's an ok store. The deli sucks sometimes, the workers act like they don't want to slice deli meats. The bakery people are the worst though. I came in Monday and asked about a cake for Saturday, the lady said it was too early to order, that they only need 24 hours . So I come back Friday early and they say no they have too many orders!I would personally go to any other king soopers even if I have to drive for an extra 10 minutes. This store needs to either hire more people for certain departments or fire the workers who don't want to do their jobs.

This King Soopers staffing levels are a joke. Forget ever being able to “hop in quick” for anything. The lines are always snaking back into the middle of the store because this location is too cheap to staff anything more than a lane or two of checkout. Since Commerce City won’t build any other retail up in this area this is the only option close by so no incentive to change or staff up. If I just need some milk or something simple, I just stop at a gas station instead even if it costs double, because I’ll spend 2 minutes grabbing the milk, and 15 minutes waiting to checkout, at this King Soopers.

Brutal...well after rush hour.Only one register open and half of the self checkouts open. Lines were insane, but not an employee in sight other than the 3 working the registers. What is happening???Left all groceries there and went to a different store.#losingbusiness

Shopping is already stressful so now just add on a system that watches every single move as you checkout.Employee had to scan their badge for every item I scanned and bagged because the system detected the item was not scanned even though it's on the screen this place has become a joke

They’ve setup some new self checkouts that use video verification which are absolutely HORRID. Every item above 21 items needs video verification. Even with the clerk helping me, they had to badge in like 6x to finally allow the system to check out. With your billions, please either hire more check out people or invest in better technology. They have tech that can automatically see what’s on the scale and account for it. These horribly programmed self checkout machines need to be replaced.

This place is garbage! They are always overly busy, with no cashiers or parking! Meanwhile the manager and self check are standing around laughing having a good old time! 🙄 just can’t get good service anywhere these days!

Talk about having gone downhill. There have been less than a handful of times over the last couple of years where they’re running more than 2 or 3 lines, and those lines don’t have people going into the 2nd half section of the store. This KS sucks. Can they not pay people enough? You’d think it wouldn’t be an issue with as many shoppers as they would have.

Expect to wait in long checkout lines because King Sooper's is too cheap to hire anyone to work the registers. Even the self-checkout lines will have long lines going back into the aisles. Terribly disorganized and it shows. Shop elsewhere if you can.

For everyone that thinks they are “saving money”, enjoy getting price gouged on groceries and gas. Kroger raised prices on everything because they will be forced to lower mark-ups when their merger with Albertsons is complete. Heck, even their water refill station saw a 40% mark-up and gas is $0.80 more than other places.

This place is starting to really suck. They have 6 self checkouts and 1 cashier lane open at most. Be prepared to wait over 20min to checkout. Also the parking lot might have been built on a fault line with all the pot holes and cracks

I would not recommend doing pickup orders from this location. I consistently get incorrect items (not substitutions) the correct item is on my receipt, it's just not what I got. Items are missing frequently, even though I'm charged for them. Once I got the complete wrong order and had to go back. For pickups, definitely go to another King Soopers location.

Just curious if y'all were gonna have any food at this store anytime soon? This used to be a wonderful store, friendly helpful staff, always stocked and clean. It has gone down hill fast. A constant attitude from anyone in the bakery, yet they never have anything in stock. Shelves are constantly empty of even basic items. Messes on the floor from spills not being cleaned up, and yes bagging your own groceries at the register. It's worth the extra ten minutes to drive to the Brighton location.

What is going on lately. It’s 11:30am on a Monday. Most of the check out lanes are closed. The lines for every lane are backed up half way down the aisle. And there’s no bags.Walmart does better…

Saw a woman picking and touching every strawberry to get the reddest ones. She had her nose close to the open food. DISGUSTING! If only they knew how awful this is. I'm suprized there arent more diseases

It is worth driving a bit farther to shop at this KS. Friendly, kind workers, clean and well stocked store. I love the self serve olive bar.

It does not seem fair to rate this store a 1 star based on lines alone, if that were an option it would receive a -5. Please, PLEASE do something about the line wait times. I cannot imagine how a line extending *full aisle lengths* OUTSIDE of self-checkout stations is not a 5-alarm fire to management. If your transaction processing speed vs customer volume ratio is severely imbalanced, you have the constant influx of revenue and ultimate ability to fight staff attrition and pay them a respectable amount of money to keep them on board. Also, for what it's worth closing down half of the self-checkout stations in evenings is an absolute failure in efficiency. When both are open, I have seen many occasions where the two staff members are busy socializing when multiple people on both sides are waiting for help. One can easily manage both sections and if loss-prevention is a concern you have an armed security officer standing 15 feet away. Other than that, I find the staff to be consistently friendly and ultimately empathize with the situation(s) ultimately out of their control.

Sadly this store finally is getting product in on a regular basis but is cutting hours to make its customers wait extra long times.

Look - I understand how busy this King Soopers gets daily, but there's not really an excuse for only having self-checkout open VS never having other checkout lines open.Unless you're here early in the morning or late at night when there's not as many people, it kinda sucks to shop here.Unfortunately, I've stopped coming to this store as often and just went to 7/11 to avoid the constant stream of people. It's not really worth it anymore. I used to come here for lunch during the weekday as well, but it's still just not really worth it. This King Soopers has just kinda fell off.

Let me tell you about my pleasant visit to King Soopers, a solid grocery store that I genuinely enjoy. It may not be a revolutionary game-changer, but it definitely left a positive impression on me.Cleanliness? Check! The store was well-maintained, with tidy aisles and neatly organized shelves. It made shopping hassle-free, and I appreciated the effort they put into keeping things tidy. The staff? Friendly and helpful! They greeted me with a smile and provided assistance when needed. While they may not have performed miracles, their service was certainly commendable.Layout? Convenient and easy to navigate. Finding what I needed was a breeze, and I didn't encounter any major obstacles along the way. It's a well-designed store that doesn't leave you wandering aimlessly.Product variety? Impressive! King Soopers offers a good selection of items, from fresh produce to everyday essentials. While it may not have absolutely everything, it had enough to meet my needs without any major disappointments.Community engagement? Thumbs up! King Soopers shows a commitment to the local community by participating in events and supporting various organizations. It's always great to see a store that gives back. All in all, King Soopers is a solid grocery store that offers an enjoyable shopping experience. While it may not revolutionize your perception of grocery stores, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
