The employees are always kind and helpful. The store is usually stocked with things I need but when it comes to the parking lot... It would help if there were arrows directing traffic to use the one way parking aisles correctly. To most people its common sense but there always seems to be someone unable to use their common sense.

They recently locked up all of their cosmetics... I understand WHY, I know it's not the best neighborhood. But they refuse to help anybody get anything from there. I've been in multiple times, at different points in the day, and they'll tell you they'll send someone over to help you, but they leave you waiting until you pretty much just give up. You're worried about your store losing money from theft, but your lazy, carefree employees are going to lose you more money than anything or anyone else. People are gonna stop coming all together, if your stores customer service is nonexistent.

Used to be my go-to for produce, but never, ever again. After spending more than $10 on 24 oz of blackberries to have to throw literally all of them away, I don't think I'll be shopping here again for anything. I wasted 20 minutes picking through the first 12 oz carton, to end up with maybe a dozen berries total. After looking at the second one having had it for less than 24 hours, I didn't even bother to open it, and just threw it away. Never shopping here again. Attached is a photo of the receipt, showing when I bought the damn berries, and photos of the berries themselves, proving that I have had them less than 24 hours and they absolutely should not be in this state.

I was able to get what I needed quickly and for a good price. They've got a nice variety of pumpkins out this weekend, and squash inside for cooking.

They have the best deli selection compared to other locations I've gone to. Their popcorn chicken is so good! I just wish they had a sitting area the way Safeways do.

The lady at the self check out was rude. The scanner was so dirty that it took me 12 tries to scan 1 box of rice. Every third item was difficult to scan cause the scanner was dirty. Half way through 5 or 6 items rolled back on the belt. I scanned all my items but I guess the last one didn't scan although it beeped. I was taking my time to scan not to miss anything. The girl was rude and said you have to scan all your items. It kept messing up. I got frustrated and left my items all there. Maybe if the girl wouldn't have been so rude. I went to another king soopers and gad no problems. I spend a lot of money each week and I don't like rude people. I will just stop at other king soopers. The one in commerce city is not the only gig in in town

Update 11/07/2023: Way to go kroger! It would be nice to see the employees earn their wage increase by doing their job. Change the signs when the sale is over! This is not an isolated incident. It happens almost every time I shop at any King Soopers.Where do they keep the, "Fresher than fresh produce," as seen on TV?? Are there empty shelves due to a supply chain issue or have they sacrificed employee salaries for profit? How many of us feel like we are owed some recompense for using self checkout and saving them a whopping $10.43 avg per hour checker salary? Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen has certainly done his part to ease consumer's financial burden. His 2020 salary of $20.6 million fell by 12.6% to a meager $18 million. One can only imagine detrimental this must be to a person's self esteem. The Kroger corporation has enthusiastically jumped on the the post covid trend of increasing prices and reducing services. This is not ok!

I was checking out at cashier no 13 around 11 am. The cashier was friendly. But the young Hispanic lady kind of chubby with a lot of make up was helping me put my stuff in the bag was rude. She just dumped everything in the bag as fast as she can. And turn around walked to customers service station behind her and chatting with her friend. I mean I know it's Holliday season. If you don't want to work...please just stayed at home...before you crushed all my groceries!! Hopefully the management of kingsoopers read this...and discipline that girl.

The produce is always about to rot or is already moldy. Out of stock items take weeks to be restocked. This location would rather invest in tech that treats their customers like criminals. Their ‘self’ checkout can no longer be done by yourself, anytime you put a new bag in the self checkout area the machine makes an employee review video recording that you haven’t stolen anything. Also you can’t mute the obnoxiously loud beeping at the self checkout either. They still only have 1 checkout lane staffed at any time.

I don't feel like the management does a good enough job they don't put the signs up for the sales, and I know it's not their fault but this particular King Soopers has no selection of much of anything. No meat counter like other king Soopers.

Stuff getting expensive!!. Had to wait a while for a shopping cart & then follow someone to their car as they went out (because the other ways didn't work out too well) 01/2023. Worth walking the aisles and find items on special (dog food was basically 1/2 price on todays visit) 02/2023. Still liking what they're doing and selection keeps growing 05/2023. Still finding great items to try 07/2023. Suggestion: If you're NOT gonna have Cashiers around.. "Get rid of their station & "PUT UP MORE SELF CHECKOUT MACHINES" 11/2023. Store is excellent, checking out needs some attention 03/2024. Still.. if your cashiers are NOT gonna man their stations.. Replace that space with more self-checkout lines 05/2024.

Do not like how the supervisors or managers treat their employees. Especially their courtesy clerks. Witnessed a manager named Tony yell at one of the clerks for no reason. Another named Daniel do the same thing.

Convenient location and I shopped here a lot ,but the girl who works self checkout in late afternoon is so rude,especiallyif you have more than 2 items and she is unhelpful and rude if you need actual help, she acts like she owns the store. I had previously given this store 5 stars,but this employee's attitude is so off putting, I'll stop somewhere else to shop with hopefully nicer atmosphere.

docked two stars. Overall, the shopping is fine, but I swear you need an air horn to get the deli's attention here. The pre-cut sizes of everything do not meet my family's needs. And when you do get someone at the deli they give you attitude. What kind of service is that?

01-03-2024 I stopped shopping here 2yrs or so due to politics. Board of directors-they'll regret but not B4 all their shoppers are ID jacked. But I digress. I'm back to shopping here for my caree. Still clean still friendly staff. Better meat (says caree) than Walmart, and lots of organic fruits. Prices depend on EBT days-variant of $50 (Walmart every day is 50 higher than calculator of each item put in basket-taxes? Lol).Updated 4/2020. They changed something and now I love this store. <Previous> The staff are great, helpful, friendly. I've shopped at many KS and there is just something "off" about the layout at this location. I keep going back for their organic produce variety.

This King Sooper produce are by far the worst in the whole state, its truly disgusting. The store itself had a layer of dirt, and grime that made the whole store smell. The managers/owners had no sense of the community wants and needs and are ALWAYS out of stock on items that are in high demand for this community (just one ex. Limon pepino Gatorades). For the most part the staff were chill, and helpful, apart from the occasional male cashier trying to flirt with a female customer, and not paying attention to the other customers using the self check out.

Called the western Union to get some information before i drove up. Veronica answered the phone. She at every opportunity was combative, condescending, and rude. She seemed genuinely unhappy and she has my sympathy. However I’m here for buissness not baggage. After she finished her incoherent rambling I asked whom I had the pleasure of speaking with she relied “oh my god this guy” and hung up. After being placed on hold and hung up on two more times. I came up in person to get the information I needed. She understood what I said perfectly on the phone call but this seemed to not be the case when I came up in person to handle the situation. I asked to speak with a manager and Liz came up. Liz immediately told me what happened and how it happened. I asked if there was a recorded line she could review the call because we must not have heard the same conversation. She said there was not. Liz had no intention of asking why I was asking to speak to a manager, what my actual concerns were, or any real detail of what actually happened with my interaction with Veronica. Since she led by telling me what happened and how it happened and did not ask for any details of why I had asked to speak to a manger I opted to get the information I needed and left. I do not have high expectations they are willing to hold themselves to a standard. I however do hope this review is taken into consideration before giving either of these two a raise or a promotion. Some people are where they are and the way they are for a reason. They do not have to change but neither do their circumstances.

Great customer service. Always have a great experience with the staff, but was extra impressed by Catherine at self checkout! She went our of her way to help a customer with bagging, so that the items would fit in a walker, and even purchased a sturdier bag for the customer.

Hi I'm Christian I'm a cc/ cashier. Ive read some of y'all's reviews. I agree with y'all. At times it can be good, can be bad and sometime eh. I feel you about the scanning part. Where she could've miss counted. I've had the same issue. But I work it out. I've been working there for about 3 years at least. I like it. Thx for the review. I like reading others opinions about the store. It helps me to fix my mistakes.

Very helpful staff as I had a return with no receipt. They allowed me to make an exchange without much problem at all. I appreciate the help that they had given and am willing to bet they were trained by an old school customer service person who knew how to make customers happy. It's the small things.
