aqua rocks is the best! Andy and Tommy made my underwater garden a success from the tank and stand, the filter, light and most of all the plants. i would highly recommend Andy and Tommy. they really know their stuff. if you really want a GOOD aquarium. go see them and get yourself one of their VIV aquariums.

I adore Tommy and the squad! Every living thing in my tank is from them because after browsing a few local Denver fish stores, I was most impressed with Aqua Rocks by far!They have a great selection of fish, aquatic plants, hardscaping things, and other tank supplies. Of course, they also have the most gorgeous aquascapes EVER on display.I'm so glad I made the drive out to Aqua Rocks months ago as I was learning to set up my first tank. I've been back a few times since and have never regretted it :) I always leave with more knowledge about fishkeeping and more fun (reasonably priced) items and fish!I can't recommend Aqua Rocks enough for their selection, prices, knowledge, kindness, etc. I'm excited for the next time I go back!Pic is of my new tank setup, live plants and fish via AR

Aqua rocks is hands-down the best store in Colorado For all your freshwater needs. Andy Walked me through how to make my design come true. They have the best aquariums rocks, and Driftwood, not to mention the rarest and coolest plants that you could ever find in the state. Go check them out I can assure you it’s a fish tank Wonderland. Ask for Andy!

This place is awesome. I got an amazing focal piece for my new 65g aquarium, exactly what I was hoping for. They have everything you need for aquascaping...all different rocks and wood, including bonsai frames.They also sell some fish and have a particularly nice selection of guppies. The staff/owners are super friendly and helpful. I drove an hour from Fort Collins and it was totally worth it.

Super cool to see someone that actually cares about their fish. Your can really tell my looking at his tanks. I wish I would have known about aqua rocks before!

Tiffany and Tommy are so great! This store has inventory that just blows your mind with beautiful options. Each of the tanks they have established in the shop are just incredible and even just seeing what they have set up is inspiring. As we are building a big vivarium, this place will absolutely be somewhere we visit again and again!

One of the most honest, knowledgeable, and helpful aquarium stores I have been to. They even spent FOREVER taking the time to make sure I had the male to female ratio I wanted. Gorgeous healthy plants and I got a ridiculously large amount of dwarf water lettuce for an insanely low price. The dunk only revealed one, "pest," snail and it has been over two months with not a single other one showing up. They also have a huge variety of tissue culture plants and the ground cover ones I bought are growing super fast and healthy! 100% worth the trip from Parker.

I love aqua rocks colorado! I’ve bought lights and co2 supplies from them. Great help on the back end through chat, and they ship pretty quick! Also, to the reviewer leaving a 1-star because he didn’t dip his plants for snails… that’s on him! Not Aqua Rocks Colorado! I recommend people this business because I believe in them. Want pest free plants? Spend the extra money and get tissue cultures. Some people are just stupid.

The best measure of a business is how the respond when things go wrong. I purchased an 150cm aluminum stand from Aqua Rocks Colorado. Due to rough handling during shipping and/or problems with the manufactures packaging, the stand arrived damaged. It happens and while disappointing, the response from this small business was amazing. Within moments of reporting the problem, they responded an and promptly issued a full refund. They were also highly responsive when I was researching the stand and after I had issues. The experience made me want to do what I can to support this business. I'm on the east coast but I'll be ordering from Aqua Rocks Colorado soon!

I’ve been a customer in and out of Aqua Rocks for about a year now and every trip is worth it even if it was just to browse and hangout. The staff is helpful and the products are top notch. You can be as creative as you want to be with your design, and the fish are top quality. Highly recommend taking a visit and just chatting with the staff and looking around if you have never been.

A Gem. First of all, the owner is completely helpful, respectful, knowledgeable, and incredibly talented in creating Aquaecapes. Just looking at his creations inspirers you. Second, the store has almost every kind of aqua rock and drift wood. His plant stock is great and the plants are in perfect condition. This fish stock is directed at Aquascapes which I’m happy about and his fish are always in premium health. There are also tissue cultures and many more top shelf aquascaping supplies. Also all low iron rimless aquariums and my dream aquarium is available at this store!!!! It’s probably the best store in Colorado to gather aquascaping supplies. I would not have a beautiful aquascape if it weren’t for this store as my scales didn’t look good until I found this store!

AMAZING store! Even if you have no interest in keeping fish, you should go admire the incredible aquascapes - they are breathtaking! The staff was so friendly and helpful and there’s a ton of amazing supplies. The DIY workbench helped me so much in planning out my tank space. Can’t wait to go back!

I placed my order with Aqua Rocks Colorado on 2/27/24, with an estimated arrival date of 3/4 or 3/5. At 8pm on 3/4, my order had still not shipped, so I contacted them for an eta. This is the response I received: "Due to winter storm Tropica did not send us the shipment last week. They will ship tomorrow and we will receive it this week to send out."So this company is selling products that they don't even have in stock. My plant ended up shipping on 3/9, and despite having to pay for express shipping, I did not receive it until 3/14. I only purchased from this store because it has the item I wanted listed in stock, and I would receive it in time for a birthday gift on 3/10. Neither of these were accurate.2 stars because luckily the plant arrived mostly alive and was salvageable.

I live on the East Coast and was able to place my first order for hardscape materials and plants recently. I loved being shown the rocks I was going to be sent - the customer service was terrific. The plants arrived healthy despite it being winter. There was a small hiccup with my order but it was made right without much effort from me and it was handled so well. I will definitely be ordering from here again. You guys rock!

Reached out to Aqua rocks for suggestions on lighting for my 120g planted tank. They asked questions about my budget and suggested the Week Aqua Pandora series light. And boy did this light not disappoint. Super powerful, great colors on my plants and fish. If you order this light buy the combo with the shades included the light spread on this thing is wild!

Tommy was fantastic, patient and very knowledgeable. I was having some problems, worked thru them, and he went above and beyond. Don't often leave reviews, only do if service is exceptional or absolutely awful. Highly recommend if you need anything in the aquatic space.

Tommy and his staff are super knowledgeable and took the time to help us make sure we were getting the help we needed. I went in with an idea of what I thought I needed, and after talking through the issues in my tank, left with fewer chemicals and more money in my pocket and a better plan for how to move forward.All the tanks in the store looked amazing, even ones he said he was having trouble with. Also an amazing selection of building materials. I've been thinking about rescaling a smaller tank and got some great ideas. Will for sure be back to stock up on supplies and knowledge!

Great selection for all things aquarium! Any time I need something for my nano tank, they have it - it was the only place where I could find a tiny shrimp net! There's a great selection of shrimp, rocks, and wood. Service is always friendly and informative, definitely check them out!Their tanks are also BEAUTIFUL, great place to get some inspo.

I first visited AR on a cross country roadtrip after they opened their store to the public, and since then, I have sent 1/2 of my paychecks to Tommy. Seriously, though, he’s a great dude to work with - always courteous and willing to go above and beyond to help anyone out. Offers advice when he sees areas of improvement and gives meaningful, constructive input. He’s also the ONLY dealer in the US that gets all of the cool stuff that everyone wants. I’ve spent thousands on equipment and scaping material from Tommy and it’s always top notch. 10/10, best shop around, no questions.
