I just had the pleasure of the most wonderful sales associate, Wendy, helping me this morning with a hair color issue. She showed me options that I was searching for but also reassured me that it really wasn’t as bad as I thought. Such a friendly and caring person! Walgreens is my new place to shop thanks to her !

I can't handle how incompetent and rude the pharmacy department is.I literally called 4 times because I have a script that needs to be filled.The first call, I was on hold for over half an hour and was never connected to anyone.The second time, I was on hold for over 35 minutes before I heard someone pick up and then immediately hang up on me.The third call, I was speaking to a seemingly nice pharmacy tech who apologized for the wait. I told her about the issue I had with having my script filled, and the notification asked me to contact the pharmacy. She asked me if she could place me on hold. After several minutes, no one came onto the line, but it sounded like I was being transferred. I heard ringing or the next 7 minutes and no option to leave a message.The fourth call I made, I was once again asked to be placed on hold when I said this was now my 4th time calling. I was asked if the pharmacist could just "give me a call back," which is really upsetting because I don't believe I'm going to receive a call back. I even asked the pharmacy tech if she needed my number or even knew who I was? Click.I'm really upset. I tried even calling back a 5th time, but this time, the auto menu would only give me the option to speak to a store manager.This is ridiculous.WOW. I just got a call back at this very moment. I answered the phone, and the person on the other end hung up immediately. Again.I'm now on call number 6 and on hold as I finish this review.

This store is LITERALLY a danger to this community. DO NOT have your prescription sent here if it is medically necessary. On MANY random occasions, they just close shop for the entire day, no forewarning, Walgreens provides no backup pharmacist to cover for the main one and today was the last day for me. I can't believe that I was foolish enough to have my kid's EPIPEN script sent to you. Also, keep in mind, some Rx can't be transferred to other pharmacies...what happens then? "Whoopsie daisy, sorry buddy. Good luck to ya...". I've been going here since 2014 and I NEVER see the same pharmacy staff there for more than a month. It's an ever revolving door of new faces. Something is TERRIBLY wrong with this store. Walgreens needs to vacate this spot post-haste and let a more responsible company occupy the building. You have failed this community in more ways than one (we all know I'm talking about...) Please, just do the right and leave our community. Please!

This Walgreens is probably one of the worst in the city. Literally I have called the pharmacy 3 times in the past month, during regular pharmacy hours and the pharmacy is closed because of whatever reason (not lunch time). Another day I called and I was told they would not have a pharmacist on Saturday so it would be closed. Walgreens should close this store. Look at it's ratings. Terrible. Rude staff. It's a bummer to deal with.I'm addition, whenever I refill on the automated system or on the app, the pharmacy never gets the request. What good does it do to even have these services if nothing works? Unbelievable.

Tried to order online to pick up in the store but it didn’t go through. The store is ridiculously expensive, but I went there because of the selection of cold medicine and a location convenient to me. Why in the world isn’t the pharmacy open on Sunday? This is so anachronistic!

Pharmacy customer service is terrible. I went for a prescription and was told by a lady that it would be ready in an hour. No big deal. Come back and was made to look like I was stupid by this male who was then there and was sure I wasn’t told an hour. He said “I need 20 minutes” with the rudest attitude. TERRIBlY RUDE! This is not the first time. This guy needs to be trained better or fired.

Customer service at this Walgreens has really deteriorated since last year when a young lady was murdered in store by one of her coworkers. They were closed for several months and apparently majority of employees found other employment. I know that there is a labor shortage nationwide, but it seems like the employees that they have hired do not have the slightest idea of what they are doing, ESPECIALLY in the pharmacy department. Having to wait over 30 minutes for a prescription that had been called in over 6 hours beforehand is ridiculous. I guess that I will try CVS.

The managers and this company should be held accountable for Riley whilelaw. YOU KNEW the complaints she had against that monster and yet you couldn't fire him? You made Riley work on shifts with him. Shame on you.

The manager, Crystal Ishmael, was having inappropriate relations with Joshua Johnson before the time of Riley’s murder. According to KKTV, Ishmael lied to the police about having any romantic involvement with her employee but Josh later admitted to it during a mirandized interview. FIRE THE MANAGERS!!!!! It’s no wonder they didn’t protect Riley.

I won't shop at a store that doesn't protect it's employees. Shame on Walgreens for keeping this store open. If I were the family I'd sue this whole company and own it, after what had happened. This situation was held unprofessionaly and without care, so much so that unfortunately cost an innocent person their life. Great job Walgreens for not keeping your employees safe. You all deserve a Gold star for the most unsafe company in the entire company.

save yourself the headaches. quite nearly every time i have used this pharmacy there has been an issue on their end and i end up waiting an extra week and a half to get a prescription. the pharmacy staff have been rude and unhelpful numerous times and despite saying that they send requests to doctors offices, there is never any record of them doing so, because they never do it. save yourself the time, stress, and frustration and just go somewhere else.

I go here for the pharmacy mainly. Randomly the pharmacist won't show up on a day its supposed to be open. If this happens on a Friday it could be all the way till monday before you get your prescription.

I needed a Rx in a hurry and stopped at this Walgreens. They filled the Rx wrong so I now have the wrong medication. I knew better than to use this pharmacy but I needed a drive thru. Double check everything they give you or, better yet, go anywhere else. (should be zero stars)

After multiple phone calls and multiple in person visits I STILL don't have my prescription filled. They received it from my doctor 13 days ago and keep telling me to call back or come back in later and every time I do they say it will be ready "soon" or the next day. They're clearly short staffed but knowing that doesn't change the fact that it's like pulling teeth to get something filled. Communication is a major issue. Definitely don't recommend coming here.

My husband and I have been going to this pharmacy for 3 years despite always being disappointed. The wait time here is unreal. They only ever have one tech working and she is juggling both the drive thru and the in store line. It takes 30-60minutes just to DROP OFF a prescription. I think the close proximity to our house kept us returning but after today we are definitely never going back. My husband recently had a surgery and filled his scrips here yesterday. Today, I received a frantic phone call from the pharmacist stating that my husbands script was fake and he was going to call the police. I politely told him that the script was from his doctor and there must be an understanding. I gave him my husband's number and he called with the same frantic threats. After my husband calling the doctor and the doctor calling the pharmacist, everything was sorted out. However, I believe the pharmacist should have called the doctor before calling us and threatening to call the police. What a stressful afternoon for absolutely no reason.

After the app allowed me to fill a prescription AND told me later it was ready, I went to that location and their pharmacy is actually closed indefinitely due to staffing issues. I called this location and she told me it would take an hour. I explained I didn't really have an hour and she told me their having staffing issues and hung up on me.Time to find somewhere else to get my prescriptions. EVERY prescription i've had to get has been an issue. I get staffing issues. I DON'T get a company as big as this not being able to fix an app to let folks know a pharmacy is closed/not allow you to choose that location and I don't get garbage customer service. My industry is short staffed too. We all are. No need to be rude and hang up when a customer is staying their frustration - maybe try listening and giving them a solution?

I shop here regularly and the staff is wonderful! I do have a hard time understanding how anyone gets prescriptions filled at this location! I get it, understaffed and busy = terrible customer service. I think the head pharmacist should be FIRED! I see dozens if not hundreds of perscriptions filled that probably won't even be picked up today, let alone probably called after others that belong to people waiting in-store!

I called the pharmacy on May 3rd in response to a message on their website refill screen. The woman who answered the phone might also have a second job as a St. Louis civil servant police dispatcher. She was stunningly abrupt, rude and abrasive.Perhaps Walgreens should close down some of its pharmacies and transfer the employees from understaffed sites to staff-up other understaffed sites in order to better serve their customers and de-stress their overtaxed employees.

I have worked many customer service jobs, so I'm usually lenient when places are busy and short staffed. This being said, I went there to get a prescription filled to help with my nausea as I have been vomiting and nauseous all day. They didnt have it filled so I was asked to wait. It then got super busy so I was patient and waited. Two people who came in after me waited and got their prescriptions filled, so I started getting worried. An hour later I go up and ask and they still hadn't filled it, as I saw the guy go up to the pharmacist and ask him to fill it for me. The pharmacist was the one who had originally helped me and knew I was there waiting. I spent an hour there waiting, feeling nauseous to the point of tears and trying desperately to not need to throw up. In my opinion, this is unacceptable. Will never be going to this pharmacy ever again. If I could post negative stars I would.

Would give them 0 stars if available. Having to wait 24 hours because they started using a centralized location is absolutely horrible when it is for medications to get rid of a bad flu for a kid or cancer medications for my wife.

The staff in the store are helpful and friendly but it gets one star for their useless pharmacy and rude staff .. Been using this location close to my house for seven years because I like the general staff in there, I However, even before the pandemic the pharmacy is ridiculous on wait times and even when you try get a question answered in person you are mostly met with grumpy, rude, discourteous staff and if you try call by phone they leave you waiting for 90 mins saying you are third in line and still don’t answer when it’s your turn finally!! We rarely need the doctor or pharmacy but everytime it’s the same old run around that they don’t have it in stock or have to wait on insurance approval etc and just a don’t give a s*** attitude! It will be the last time I use them. When people are sick last thing they need is to be messed around, wait for hours and then be spoken to like they are irritating them by being alive!

This is kind of a tricky one to rate, because the pharmacy here is terrible, and they really like to discriminate against chronic pain patients and/or make things as hard on us as they possibly can - with regards to filling/obtaining certain prescription drugs (which is why I switched pharmacies long ago even though this pharmacy is the closest one to my residence). I did generously decide to bump the star rating up to four stars; (was thinking about going with 3 stars) because the cashiers and other generalist employees here are typically very friendly and good workers. The employee on duty at the main register near the front of the main store entrance, you could tell easily, was trying very hard and seemed to be a conscientious young man. Managers - if you will, at the very least, please give this guy some props. Was here on 8/12/21 @ ≈ 5:00PM in the early evening. I unfortunately didn't happen to catch the employees name.

The pharmacy takes forever. Would it kill you to hire a couple more people? Or at least hire people who could multi-task? I go every month to get pills and they take so long, it’s a little ridiculous. The line is always backed up and I’m always waiting in line forever. The workers at the front are nice, and they don’t get all huffy if you forget your muzzle, which is nice. Prices are a little high so I avoid going here if I don’t absolutely have to.

Wow, the pharmacy is so slow!!! If there's any line plan to wait a while, come back later or better yet go to a different pharmacy all together. There records of your insurance are never right no matter how times you advise them. Glad to be moving soon and away from this place!

The store is good but the pharmacy stinks. They cut back their hours, close without notice, don't show up without notice and the pharmacist gives you major grieve you you happen to be on a monthly registered drug. Changing to the Filmore location.

I had a terrible experience getting a flu shot at this location. I made an online appointment and arrived 15 mins prior to the appointment as online instructions stated. I filled out the vaccine form before arriving but had to fill out the same form again at the pharmacy . Waited 45 mins past the appointment time to be called by Scott, the pharmacist on duty. Scott was not friendly,. He just called my name, asked me what shot I was getting and after vaccine said "You can go." No customer service by Scott. I will never use this location for any vaccine in the future.

I've been to this Walgreens many times for prescriptions as well as general shopping. The customer service is usually pretty good and they have a decent selection of items. I'd highly recommend the pharmacy drive-thru over standing in line inside as people have a tendency to ask questions inside which slows things down. The only criticism I have is that they don't always have their systems up to date so you need to really pay attention to make sure you're getting your discount or points.

A nice, clean Walgreens with an exceptionally friendly staff. I've found all of the pharmacists and techs there to be highly knowledgeable and willing to offer sound advice freely. I feel like I imagine an old-time pharmacy to be like, but with all of the modern conveniences as well. I don't think you'd be disappointed with your experience with the Walgreens at this location. Give it a try.
