I will be leaving this review in different stages. I am so angry. I started calling the pharmacy at 8 o’clock when they first open I called all day no one answered. I decided to finally call the store manager. He talk to the pharmacist and told me to call back in 45 minutes, which I did once again, He never answered the medication is one that I am supposed to take every day without fail. I do not understand what happened with this Safeway. I used to get very good service. I wish I knew which Safeway Esther has moved to because she was one of the best.

Every single time I have a prescription here they "have to order it." I even gave them several days from when the script was sent. They never return calls so when I just show up days later after seeing the script is still being prepared on the app I get told it needs to be ordered. Why don't they order it when they get the script? I have to physically show up for them to process anything and then get sent away???

I love this pharmacyThey take great care of my whole family. Polite and informative when asked, always caring for my best interests. They replaced all my friends with a new staff, and I still find the temporary folks to be wonderful. Now that all the people I've delt with for 4 -5 years are gone, I am missing some of the service I always received. I feel like I'm overpaying sometimes. Two people there still take care of me like my other frieds.

I called the pharmacy the night of April 10th and was put on hold. Wasn't mad but when the phone started ringing again she would pick it up and hang up on me. So I called back and was put on hold again. Once again she picked the phone up and hung up. So I called back and she decided not to even answer. At least have respect for your job and maybe then you would have respect for the customers.

My wife and I have been using this pharmacy for over a year. Same persicrotipns every month without changes. Over the last two months it has become a nightmare deal with this pharmacy. The app tells us it's been filled we get to the pharmacy. It hasn't been filled. We call on the phone goes to voice-mail, no call returned.Call multiple times finally speak with someone who is borderline rude saying prescription hasn't been filled. Despite the app saying so and paying for delivery.Finding a new pharmacy. Don't waste your time here.

They won't ever get your prescriptions in from your doctors and will yell at you in front of other customers when you come in to check if your meds are in because you need them to function. Don't come here if you like having your private health information kept private or if you like getting your medications. Unacceptable behavior from the tech to yell at me.

It’s best to download the Safeway app and go thru the pharmacy there to refill your prescriptions. Text notifications make it possible to be alerted when your medication is ready to be picked up.Always amazing, always pleasant to be around. They’re very friendly and provide excellent service to their clients. Fast pickups and great customer satisfaction.

This place is continuously out of both of my medications, and they never let me know when i request a refill. I have to continuously call them for days for them to then find out that they are out, and that it will take several days to get a medication in that i take daily. They said that they have a lot of patients that take this medication. So why do they wait to run out, and then order more only after somone needs it filled? They should be ordering more before they run out. I am an RN in an ICU. I have asked our ICU pharmacist (who used to work retail for over a decade) if this is normal behavior. Her response was "NO, THAT PLACE SOUNDS LIKE IT IS POORLY MANAGED." This place is a joke. I should not be going without a required medication for 3 days every time I need it filled. The pharmacist who manages this place needs to step up.

I really wanted this to be a good review, however, that is unfortunately not the case. I asked that ALL of my prescriptions be transferred from the CVS Pharmacy on N. Circle to this Safeway due to extreme wait times at CVS and even worse customer service. I was in person on Dec. 30th making this request and the young lady at the counter was pleasant and assured me it would be done. I called them yesterday (almost exactly 2 weeks later) to see if it was completed and explained that a certain medication was in dire need ASAP. She knew exactly who I was based off caller ID I am assuming and told me that they all were transferred over. That wasn’t the case. I checked the CVS app and it showed which prescriptions were transferred and which ones were not. Long story short, there are several medications still in the CVS app. It shows which ones were transferred and which ones weren’t. When I asked about the specific medication, the lady on the phone sounded very short and direct with me saying that it has no refills. (It says that because the pharmacy is supposed to call for the refill due to what it is). Before I could ask any more questions she was quick to end the call so I didn’t push for more information. So I called my Dr. Office and they told me that they will look into it and they said it was filled at CVS the same day I asked for all of my prescriptions to be moved, however, that one was never moved. Needless to say, I will be transferring out of this pharmacy too, as soon as I get this one prescription filled.When did it become ok to just be rude to people when you are asked to do what you chose as a profession? I am severely disappointed in Safeway’s pharmacy and how they conduct business. Safeway always had great customer service. Now, since this incident I will no longer do business with them of any sort. I hope this gets to corporate and they put some sort of standard and better training in place.

They never have carts or basket, they are always stolen even with locks on them, hard to shop there to be honest!

The pharmacy here has had EXCEPTIONAL service and for over 6 years I have used them exclusively. I take many medications, some with very serious potential interactions. This has been an exceptionally vital resource in my Healthcare and my safety.Everyone human is fallible and on the rare occasion errors have happened at this location. (I.e, custmer asks if script is ready, but not until the 4th request is it ever mentioned that the computer system had been down and no script was ever received.) However, the exceptionally high quality of service thus FAR outweighed even THE MOST NEGLIGANT kind of professional errors, soecifically, last month DISPENSING OVER 100 NARCOTIC TABLETS OF THE WRONG DOSAGE). Technically requiring a formal filing with the state of decrepancy.To the tech who returned my 4th message and stated " I cannot see what last month's service has to do with today's service are at all related) I've never been told by ANY staff there that my med is out of stock, without an offer to contact other safeways or an the least an expected date to check back. Your obviously offensive response of "you can call them all yourself, we all use the same distributor" was frankly unwarranted and unexoected as it happens to be a very common medication. Your tech was 100% in suggesting i make my own phone calls. Clearly the newer (last year or less) pharmacy tech staff fails to understand its service that keep us willing to pay your slightly higher prices. If you're gonna treat customers without regard, no point in paying the slightly higher cost for bottom dollar service.Cross posting on EVERY platform as Safeway obviously couldn't care less.

Amanda knows the name of ever regular who walks in, she knows their kids, and their meds! She is CRAZY good at her job!!! Tom is always sweet and helpful and Agnes is as professional and on top of her game as anyone could ask for. My son and I have filled with them for years now and we've never had a negative experience. They even successfully gave my severely ASD kiddo his Covid vaccinations! That verges on miraculous.

Waiting for your meds here isn't an option. I went to urgent care, they called the scripts in, I went to the store to pick them up and they said it would be 2-3 hours. Never herd of such a long wait time. From the other reviews on here, this pharmacy sounds unreliable as well.

They literally offer no help or sympathy for their apparent lack of proper ordering of medication when they are Out of Stock?!?? There’s a national shortage they claim. No there’s no such thing and the FDA website confirms this:search it. So now peace out Safeway and Hello new pharmacy!!!!! They suck.
