Poor service. Went to get cash back , was told I can't get cash back from tap to pay. From self check out. OK, can I get it from a register ? Yes you can. Looks at the 0 registers open. So do I have to wait for someone to open a register ? No. We are not opening registers.So if you have more than 20 items you can't check out because self check out is for less than 20. Thank you for the poor service. It is really appreciated.

My girlfriend and I live a mile away from this location and frequently visit mostly out of convenience, but also because we both work full time customer service jobs and and appreciate our experience with the staff, specifically Ian in the meat department and the deli workers! Tonight, we stopped in as we often do after both working 8 hour shifts at our respective jobs. We are aware this location often solely offers self-checkout at this time (7:30 p.m..) and are okay with this given we are regulars and expect this. As we approached the self-check out line, the two of us split two open lanes with groceries totaling under $100 each (which is nothing nowadays). The lady working the check-out shamed us for having too many items and commented that we were holding up other customers (1) behind us despite having no other option for paying for our items. I told her we’d happily use an actual open check out lane if it was available. The whole situation left me feeling very frustrated and disrespected. We don’t expect special treatment for being regulars, but I don’t think it’s too much to ask for basic customer service.

Stopped for lunch before my next appointment. It was noon on a Thursday so fairly quiet. Interesting area with some questionable persons on the south end of the parking lot. The store appeared clean. I grabbed a pre-made sandwich, went to self check-out, and left.

A gentleman in produce, Anthony, absolutely made my day. A stranger and I were talking apples when he offered to LET US TRY A FEW!!! Suffice to say both me and my stranger friend walked away with a few pounds of our new favorites and a great experience. Thank you again Mr. Anthony!

I come here on most days or did.Would be great to go to places like the grocery store without it being political.Whether or not you agree with it or not, it’s not a place to hear about political issues.We the customers not only don't come here for that but deserve better.

The females behind the customer, service counter, are rude and arrogant.They act as if they’re doing you a favor for checking you out.The entire store smells like urine.Good luck getting past the homeless without getting asked for something.I have been going here for years and it has only gone downhill. I will never go back to the store again I’ll drive the extra 2 miles to go to a clean facility with employees that don’t hate their job.

rating this as a place of employment: good place to work but i signed up for college classes after being told they’d work around me changing my availability and then they pretty much fired me (asked me to quit) because the classes i picked suddenly didn’t work.

This Safeway used to be awesome but now they close early EVERY NIGHT! Sometimes as early 10:40pm, especially to a single parents who work two jobs, finding just enough time at the end of their busy day to go to the store to buy diapers,, only to be turned away at the door by the stores manager!! Smh... 😡😖

The employees here are nice and helpful. I've had good service from these folks, consistently. The 2 stars are because, more often than not, their avocados are water logged, as if they have been previously frozen or something. I won't get my avocados at this Safeway or any Safeway again. I've not had such gross avocados from any other grocery store. Safeway, if you're freezing your avocados, you really need to stop. Their selection of consistently hot peppers, however, are excellent.

This place always judges people the wrong way. I get followed by their security every single time. I’m a working class construction worker. I always have paint or something on me. I drive a nice car. I drive a nice motorcycle. I had lots of money once before. Now all I have are the possessions. Money comes and goes even quicker. I don’t judge others, neither should you.By the way, I’ve got a wonderful pain and suffering lawyer, that’s winning me a case right now. Would avoid this Safeway whenever possible. It is a regular occurrence to find rotting, moldy, spoiled produce at this location. I’ve pointed this out to the management many times but it never gets better. Their whole produce cooler was upgrade/refreshed about a month ago and it’s already back to absolutely disgusting standards. Told the girl working in produce about moldy items, even showed them to her. She told me “they were working on it” and went back to chatting with her co-workers without removing the moldy items. The negligence of this store is absolutely going to kill someone of it hasn’t already. I urge anyone else who sees this sort of thing to report it to the health department as we have and will continue to do whenever we see this.

Love this store. It's clean, stocked up, the produce is always in great shape. I always feel like a valued customer here. I am greeted at the checkout by the older and the younger staff. For the prices we pay now, Safeway makes the hit a little less painful.

I made a pick up order on Sept.6th & it took $ from my bank account instead of my EBT card.I cancelled it right away.They assured me my $ would go back on my Bank card within 3-7 days. It has been over 7days and I still have not got no cash back.The manager was very rude to me & did not give me any answers of why & hung up on me.

What is going on with this store?! I almost purchased egg whites a few days ago where the expiration date had already passed. I just looked at the snacks that I purchased that same day last week (and ate some of) and the best by date is 9/13/2020. I let the manger know who told me that he would ensure all expired snacks were removed from the shelves and told me to come in and he’d replace the expired ones I had purchased as well. I went in and he clearly never told the desk like he promised and they looked at me like I was insane- until I went to grab a fresh replacement and all of the expired snacks were still out on the shelves for sale. I literally hate this grocery store. It looks and smells terrible inside and the manager is a loser.

My morning was starting a little rough. I went into this store last minute to get an item I desperately needed for the day. I went to the Starbucks to help cheer me up and the service Mary provided was top tier. Truly the only thing better than my drink was the woman who took my order. She was so sweet and cheerful this morning it set me right for my day. I hope she had as wonderful a day as she made mine. Thanks for brightening my day Mary!

Utilizing the Safeway APP, while at this particular store, is always a challenge especially when scanning an item with one's phone camera and clipping deals to the said APP- the APP always freezes. I've seen this with different phones/ carriers. Also, the Red Baron Classic pizza, shown in the attached picture, should have been $2.77 according to the white Sale price tab that was directly below the item on the shelf, but because the APP had not been updated and the APP was frozen, I ended up paying $6.49- I would have had the attendant fix it but she was rude. I would also caution customers about the placement of white Sale price tabs as they are often misplaced below different items at this store- I tried buying a different Red Barron Pizza that had a $2.77 Sale tab below it, but the check-out scanner wanted to charge me 8.79(?)- I figured that it was a mistake because the pizza was a different size. This store needs to pay attention to detail and update its bandwidth (?) to better service its customers.

Good prices friendly staff.EditThe staff are still friendly and the prices are still competitive but the owners of the franchise have really let the quality of the shopping experience suffer. This used to be my favorite grocery store so close to Manitou it catered to the upper class and the hippies in an eclectic way. Now they have gone the way of the Walmart in the bad part of town with the self checkout being the primary way to pay and polished concrete floors for that extra ghetto style. I'd say stop shopping there and go to King Soopers instead, but they are both owned by the same company now.

All food related good, but check out, guy nice and friendly but absolutely No help putting groceries back in cart when we did not purchase bags. No bags no problem, but no customer service is a HUGE problem. Help people put things in the cart, especially when with the elderly. The last week we were there, we had fantastic help upon arrival and then at checkout. Wish I had gotten his name. I hope they are not being instructed to not help. Customer service, kindness to one another, and respect to our elderly are So Very Important, especially now

I choose to do my shopping here as often as possible. The isles are wide enough to let two people pass eachother without banging carts or elbows. They have only 6 self check out isles, the rest of the lanes are staffed with real people, friendly people.. working friendly people. They have baggers, and will help you get your purchaseInto your car if desired. Prices seem comparable and with all the digital savings and coupons, Safeway prices are as low as any store in the area. And there is always plenty of parking. Why would anyone want to participate in combat- shopping at some other market, when shopping here is convenient, close, and cost effective!?!

I literally only come here for the Western Union when someone feels philanthropic towards my adventure of penury and bliss 👌🧘👌But they serve cheap food, so can't be bad. I just don't really eat anymore... So not sure if my opinion matters on this one.Too common for me to reveal the glory behind this store.That being said tho...Grocery stores represent a sense of supply and organization which is a principle, and Principle leads, governs, and guides in the form of Truth and Love.So it's valid.

Still an everyday Safeway but always has great deals, clean store, friendly staff, fresh produce, great meat selection, bakery is always helpful with a large variety and the deli is fresh and clean. This store never leaves people waiting, will open registers if there are lines, and will get you step up items if the items they have on sale are unavailable. They order items for you if they don't have them already and they keep said items stocked if you ask them too. Thanks for the great customer service Safeway!!
