Broke a bulkhead on my overflow at 9pm on a Sunday night before Presidents Day. Monday morning drove to 8 different plumbing stores and several misc stores like spa and hot tub places. Those that would help couldn't find what I needed. Been going to reefkoi before long before this location. Thank goodness I tried him. He was the only one who actually helped me. What an amazing place! What awesome customer service!!

Came in and it was several minutes before being acknowledged. I wanted to ask about saltwater fish. They are extremely condescending if you've never had them.Don't worry dude, I could pay to go to the zoo if I wanted to stall. I've had plenty of exotic pets. They're generally kind of selective on who they want to treat like a customer .

Best pricing probably in the local area for an LFS and super friendly to work with. They have a nice selection of corals and a bit of live fish.

Chris is awesome, best place to go for salt water fish and coral. Chris has been into saltwater before saltwater was really something you could keep at your house. He knows his stuff and will lead you the right direction. If you’re considering starting a saltwater tank this should be your first stop. Listen to what Chris tells you and follow his instructions and before long you will have an amazing saltwater system.

First visit, I was helped by the owner Chris to get all the necessities to start my tank up! Second visit I was helped by one of the workers (his name escapes me) but he was very helpful! They were out of good beginner fish, but again I was given so much great information by him! Will be stopping by again when I’m looking to expand and get some soft coral!

I went in with my boyfriend close to closing time and the owner was very polite and helpful. I went for medicine and ended up leaving with a very beautiful koi betta! They aren’t kept in little cups like petsmart and they have so much personality! We named ours Mr. Miyagi and he lives in a 10G filtered tank.Thank you so much for my new best friend!!

Great staff! Plenty of corals, livestock and invertebrates. They also carry a huge selection of chemicals and equipment! There are some used items for sale as well! All around amazing shop and I highly recommend stopping by!

Great LFS. Location is a little tucked away but the selection is great, frag tanks always stocked even when Chris (owner) considers it “slim”. More importantly Chris and Cameron are always friendly and they’re attentive to every customer that walks in. Really good rapport with everyone I’ve seen walk in.

We have known the owner Chris for almost 20 years. He was instrumental to our success with reef keeping until we moved back in 2009. He has always been very honest, generous with his time and encouraging to new people looking to get into saltwater fish or coral for the first time. He has a mountain of experience and wisdom to share, if you will listen.We recently decided to get back into the hobby and visited the Reefkoi Coral store. An amazing array of corals, frags and dry goods. WOW - the hobby has certainly changed over the past decade, the availability of products, technology, methods and techniques.The customers we saw whilst there were helped with their questions and the owners actually spent the time talking to them, no sales pressure, no product pushing, just honest conversation and advice.Chris took the time to talk to my wife and I about all the changes in the hobby and challenges the modern reef keeper faces. We bought a130 gallon saltwater tank with fish already in it. It was not in good shape. We've had to upgrade a lot and we've been given such great information, and more help than we ever thought possible. Everyone in the store has time to help and they answer all of our questions. Their fish are healthy and beautiful and not over priced. We love this place!! ReefKoi Corals has a customer for life!!!

We went there today to get advise about getting started with a new tank. These guys were absolutely awesome, so knowledgeable, really know their stuff. Just got a new fishtank for the kids. This place is saltwater only (we have freshwater) but they were more than willing to chat with us and had no problem interacting with the kids. Had a large variety and seemed well kept. Very knowledgeable and respectful.

What do I love about it? How about everything! Expert advice, lots of TLC, Chris is super friendly. Hands down the best reef hobbyist store in Colorado Springs. Always spotless display tanks! and easy to navigate. Frags and livestock are well maintained and priced competitively. Super helpful! I was setting up a new tank and was in dire need of ammonium chloride. Not only were they the ONLY shop in town that carried it (among the 5 or 6 other shops I called) they were very helpful on the phone and didn’t brush me off like some of the other places. Then when I followed up and went to pick it up, they were super friendly, respectful, and helpful. Honestly, I don’t look like a typical customer and tend to look out of my depth and I often experience the side effects of it when I shop but unlike some of my other unfortunate encounters with other places in town, it was a good experience and if I need anything else, I’ll definitely be back!

I bought a couple frags from here. They didn't say that there tanks were full of flatworms. I called expressed my concern. They said yea we do dip your corals first. That was after the fact. Poor poor business. So be weary of corals you buy from them they may mess up your tank. In reply I can't stand a lier and from this reply you lied so I hope everyone is skeptical. I came back to your store and you verified that you did have flat worms. Then told me I should have dipped my coral your a bad business I'll let everyone no this.

One of the best businesses I have ever dealt with. Chris and his son are incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. His coral, fish, and invertebrates are top-notch and the prices are very reasonable. Chris is passionate about reefing and will answer just about any question you can have.

Went into visit today as a new owner to a 30 gal tank. It took a while for them to acknowledge I was there despite the three staff there. After getting to talk to the owner I realized it was a saltwater only store, which as a newcoming fish keeper, I'm not ready for. Was a bit put off by the way the conversation went, felt a bit out of my depth. Nonetheless they run a really gorgeous store with some really cool stock I havent seen anywhere else in town and everything looked healthy.

Reefkoi has a huge selection of corals. The prices are awesome. Chris is very knowledgeable and answered every question I asked him. I traveled over 120 miles to visit this shop. Worth the trip. I was not disappoint. I will definitely do business with Chris again. I highly recommend reefkoi.
