Helpful and Friendly associates. Easy parking. Great location. Pricey - Reward point system OK better than nothing. Many products on hand recommend having phone handy if you haven’t done your research prior found myself comparison shopping in the aisles.

The trainer, Adam, is fantastic! He has done several different types of trainings with my dog, Shadow, and the outcome is always great! You can tell that Adam enjoys what he’s doing, and I’m always amazed by what he is able to teach Shadow. He does a good mix of demonstrating what to do and having me do it too so we can practice at home.My dog loves this PetSmart, and literally everyone I have encountered has been very helpful and friendly. If you want excellent training then this PetSmart is the place to go!!

DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR DOGS TO BE GROOMED AT THE PETSMART LOCATION 7680 N ACADEMY BLVD.This location got several new people over the course of the last couple of months. One particular young lady always seems to want to cause banter, and not respect your wishes as a customer. My family and I have tried three times with the same young lady. Each time with her it’s always something. One time it was calling and leaving 4 messages with less than a 10 minute frame.I’m not quite sure if it’s the language barrier with this young lady or if it’s the newness with the company, whatever it is, this one particular lady is very bad business for Petsmart grooming center. I do help she is let go ASAP.I have been using PetSmart grooming services for 8+ years and yet the only three encounters that I’ve had with this one groomer has been horrible each and every encounter.This company has just lost our business as a customer, and we will be spreading what happened, especially with this one lady to not use her to find someone else, and an essence find a whole new place of business.No one should have to be asked multiple times to please stop. No one should have to be asked let me give my dog back so I can leave for them to magically now I’ll try to work out something. Your company is not doing me a favor bathing five dogs that I can go elsewhere and spend my money with someone else someone that values the money and wants the business. It’s a wonder why they can’t keep Consistent bather and groomers because the customer service is lacking for several of the employees

I cannot say enough about the remarkable, professional, and personable dog trainer at this store, Adam. He has helped me with my two dogs more than I thought possible. My small dog is very outgoing and is getting old, but Adam has taught him several new tricks - the best of which he actually had to train me to do. When I had first adopted my little pupper, I indulged him with food from my plate. This resulted in him growing to bark loudly and claw at me to demand it. In just a week Adam taught me enough about how dogs learn to completely stop this behavior and be able to eat in peace! My larger dog, rescued during the pandemic, was incredibly fearful - hiding behind me in public and backing away from anyone who approached for the first 2 years I had him. Adam immediately made my big dog comfortable and taught him to sit and touch right away. He then spent several weeks working with in the store introducing him to people and easing him to calmly greeting others. I was really impressed with how Adam used the space and staff to create an environment where this dog could come out of his shell. When we go there, my big dog now eagerly and politely greets several staff members and he no longer hides when we are in public. I sincerely believe Adam has transformed my quality of life and that of both of my dogs. Plus, Adam is pretty funny and easy to talk to. His background has made him uniquely focused on ensuring the wellbeing of both people and pets. His classes are a great place to get to know other owners and learn practical ways to engage puppers.

Low quality fish and frogs. I’ve already had two fish from there and it’s only been two days. I went back in and they said oh, it’s probably because we got a bad batch. The lady who helped me was not very friendly. However, the gentleman who ran the register he looks retired army, or something he was very pleasant and helpful.

Extremely helpful gentleman in the reptile dept (Tyler?) assisted me with flightless fruit flies for the itty bitty lizard I rescued, and gave me a discount because the container was a bit banged up. Much appreciated and I will definitely return to this store because of him. The reason for 4/5 stars is only because the original price for the product is shockingly high, not for lack of good customer service.

I received excellent customer service here. The associate that helped me was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. They made sure I had all the supplies and care information I needed to ensure a successful pet adoption. I was very happy with my experience here and will definitely be back!

Small animals and reptile enclosures looked really good, the reptile enclosures were tiny but had a lot of decor. The hamsters had much enrichment and lots of bedding. However, the aquatics section was very sad. Not enough gravel to even cover the bottom in some tanks, little to no decor for the fish to hide behind, and no selection. There was a kuhli loach in an entirely empty tank save for the sand, rapidly gasping and unable to swim. He was emaciated and pale with stress. In one of the tanks the java ferns were buried and some emersable plants had their leaves submerged (both will rot this way). Many dead fish that had been there so long they had been picked down to the bone. It seems there is a lack of training and care in the aquatics section, very disappointing.

I adopted two beautiful baby boys Ash and Blaze, and this location did amazing with the process and getting me help with anything I could have needed! Their groomer Falon even told me a lot about the boys and said she'd help me with their grooming when I came in! The pet adoption clerk was very well trained and had information immediately for me. The boys are doing great!!!!!

I love this PetSmart! When I walk in, I'm always greeted by a friendly staff member who asks me if I need help. The staff is always knowledgeable about the products they sell, and they can help me choose the best food, treats, and toys for my pets. I especially want to give a shout out to Adam, the trainer. He's amazing!

Multiple dead fish and shrimp in most of the tanks. Algae covered and poorly maintained. Was told that the urtle was fed only rosy minnows and goldfish. They and goldfish inhibit thiamine, which is needed, because they have high thiaminase. They should also be getting greens.

Not near as much choice, quality and quantity as I'm used to a pet store. Every dog collar was nylon, nothing real and the prices are excessive. The beta fish are literally dying, not moving even their gills. Walked out after seeing the poor state of the fish and will not return.

If I could give negative stars I would!! Worst puppy training ever! We signed up for a six week puppy class and only took 3 classes with Adam and at the beginning of the class we were told that no dog is bad or aggressive and they’re just puppies. When we go into the very first class all we heard about was his old jobs and Adam’s background and no training.The second class we go into he just kind of fed her treats and did a sit and focus. Just offering her treats all the time did nothing and then the third class we go into again we have no interaction with our own dog. It’s just Adam feeding her treats and he’s still - oh she’s just a puppy until she bit him and then he said she became a very aggressive puppy and told us to rehome her! That is not something a trainer would do. Would you rehome a child because they cry, bite or don’t listen? Not only did he say she was very aggressive and to rehome her then he goes and tells us that if or when we get a new puppy, then Petsmart will pay for the training for that puppy. I personally would not want to have that training because I have went through puppy training before and it’s a very interactive with the customer and the Pet With the trainer watching. Adam is one of the worst trainers ever. I don’t think he cares about what he’s doing, because all he kept looking out was the window when he was even showing us anything and leaving the room and going to get papers that took forever and then taking phone calls, and talking to other people during our one hour training!After this sour taste from Petsmart, I will not refer the training and more than likely Petsmart has lost any further sales of any kind.

This Petsmart has the nicest, most helpful employees. They always have what I need in stock too. And the homeless dog adoption days on Saturday’s are wonderful! Special shout-out to Shekinah who is always so kind and helpful. She greets everyone with the biggest smile when they walk in! Love this location and all the people there.

Spoke with manager Sean/Shon and he was completely rude! I would not advise anyone who loves their fur babies to shop or rely on expensive petsmart! I would like to have a refund!

Unfortunately I cant give this location a 0 in stars. It's is now been the 3rd time going here before leaving this post,EVERYTIME I go to this store, ME and my family get disrespected, or ignored. They don't want to help you or your pet, Hell they act as if they dont know the products,only want your money.

Due your due diligence before you commit to making an appointment..... I felt very sorry for the dogs that were being groomed...I was there less than 5 minutes, checking out the place before I brought one of my dogs in, and between the incoherent groomer who was trying to track what I was saying...and the incompetent nail trim that was trying to take place (poor dog almost fell off the table with the noose around it's neck, yiping in pain). I obviously will not be stepping foot in that location again, made me sick to my stomach

I've never had an experience here that wasn't positive. Madison & Freya who work up front are so sweet! Always nice, friendly, caring, helpful & professional. Always love seeing them both & so does our dog 🐕 ☺️. Also, Adam the dog trainer is really experienced, patient & caring with the dogs.
