Worst grooming my pure bred sheltie has ever had. These "groomers" do not know how to groom to breed specifications. My dog has unevenly cut fur all along her body and mane. There are areas of fur 3-4 inches longer than the surrounding area. She looks like someone tried to groom her with a lawn mower, without their glasses on. Do not take your pets to be groomed at this location. See attached picture of what this pure bred sheltie looks like now š

This place has terrible customer service and my dog appeared cowering afterwardsIām not sure what happened with her. Definitely not ever taking her back there

Fish tanks are not kept up at all. The worst I've seen in my life. There were platys in the turtle aquarium. At register I asked for the online price match. The guy was super rude about it. The store is not kept up. No workers on the floor near aquarium to help.

My first time using their Grooming Service and Andy was AWESOME! He took such great care of our sweet girl Jegs T603 who is a Retired Military Working Dog. She was starting to shed her undercoat and needed a good scrub! Andy did just that!! Her nails were grinded down perfectly and coat was shining like a diamond. We will be back :)

Arranged like most Petsmarts, but typically not crowded and with helpful employees. I buy many aquatic things there and they have what I need with no problems regarding fish from their tanks; except bettas... they looked sad laying at the bottom of their cups!

After going through the reviews⦠I wish I had read them before. A few months back we came in over multiple store trips to purchase budgies/parakeets for our previous flock. They all had separate cages for their own space but we also had a large bathroom we had emptied and sanitized with bird safe products because our jumbo flight cage kept getting delaying in the mail. We made sure everything in this room was bird safe and we didnāt use it for anything else. While still within guarantee / return time frame windows. The birds started dropping dead one by one. Every couple of days we lost another bird. One we believe the other birds pecked to death. So we isolated all of them. But they just started dying. It would appear respiratory when I caught it happening. Weāve since tested our water and and air quality, thinking it was somehow our fault. It wasnāt the environment after two/three months I can confidently say that. None of my other animals (cat, frogs, lizard, axolotls, and various fish tanks) have had any troubles. Just the birds. We had brought them all in, intending to pay for their on site vet(this was months ago), but the staff intervened and were not confident that it wasnāt just āa bad batchā of birds. They explained to me that for the short period of time I had them, and how birds get sick and donāt show it until itās too late, the staff expressed that they DID NOT BELIEVE it was my fault. I was encouraged to return them and to get my money back instead of throwing money at their vet. So then WHY when I come in today after several months to purchase two budgies and to try starting all over again with a new set up⦠I am approached and told āwe canāt sell you birds because you have a history of returning themāā¦.to which I informed them that they made me return them when I wanted a vet report. They denied me the vet and gave me my money back of THEIR choosing, not mine. Now youāve trying to use that to blacklist me from sales? That doesnāt seem right at all. I said it was fine and I wasnāt going to argue with them. To which they changed their mind and said theyād sell me 1 or 2 but would not sell to me after today. Thatās fine. Valley Pets staff is more knowledgeable and doesnāt try to lie or twist the narrative against their customers. I will be avoiding this entire chain going forward. How are you going to deny vet access to a customer willing to pay and then use that experience to ānot sell to themā any longer? Your own staff thought you sold us sick birds, but now you get to tell a completely different story..? Shady shady shady. And yes. They still sold us two birds today. So what was the point of accusing me and embarrassing me in front of other customers just to turn around and make the sale anyways?

poor sevice in grooming, paid good money for my gogs grooming, they lied about trimming his nails and charged me for it.i went back the next day to get the job done i had paid for, they had poor attitudes and customer service, the job they did the next day was very poor and unsatisfacory to me. i will never be taking my pet there again .

I have a six-month puppy that is an active hunting dog breed. It was the puppyās first experience of going into a store today (afternoon 10/23/2023).Your check-out clerk was totally rude. First, I had no time to make a new discount account when my phone number didnāt come up and the clerk replied, āItās your money that you want to throw away.āThen he made fun of my dogās name.I will order my dog supplies from Chewy from now on where the customer service reps are courteous.

I took my Pom for a full groom and it was the worst experience we've ever had with a groomer. Now mind you we have been going to a groomer every 6-8 weeks since she was 6 mo. old and she's now 5 so we have plenty of experience. After 2 phone calls about my dog, the first being she had fleas (I immediately called my vet and she did not have fleas) but i bought medicine for prevention. The second call came about 10 minutes later along me to pick up my dog because she was throwing up uncontrollably and they can't have her on the table. I live 2 minutes away. When i arrived my dog was not throwing up, her nose eased cold and she did not throw up with me. But the condition of her coat was horrifying. I wish she had told me she didn't know how to shave a Pom. You don't just jump in with the razor. At any rate i pray her coat grows back, she got almost to the skin in about 5 spots. Nothing but Master Groomers from now on. Definitely worth the extra money.

They usually have everything I need but I feel like the prices are kinda high for certain items like dog toys, training equipment and harnesses. The prices vary as well in Texas the prices are depicted by location.

Another big pet store with big agendas that come with big prices. These stores are so overpriced for things you n your pet need it's obvious they're in it for the dollar only. Go to a smaller store or local for choices, prices, and knowledge. Can't find those here for sure

It's super close to my house so I'll visit for convenience. If I'm feeling adventurous or I want a larger selection of products I head to valley pets in fountain. Way better then the big box stores

Super clean, excellent sales staff, who know the store, and will actually help you find what you need. Even my little timid ShihTzu likes going there. Prices are ok, Corporate sets them. Plus a full Vet office, and Groomer salon....Can't beat it.

This is the absolute worst PetSmart location. They never have what you need, rude associates and always ALWAYS so many dead fish. Besides the one nice cashier this place is a waste of space. I wish I could put zero stars.

Lainey has groomed our pup twice now and has been great to work with. I know our dog can sometimes be a handful but Iām glad that sheās able to help him out and do it with a smile on her face, you can tell that she loves her work.Also, front desk staff has been cordial and friendly in every interaction Iāve had with them. Not sure where these other issues are arising, Iāve had positive experiences with them each time Iāve been in.

I love Pets mart and go there for all my pets needs. They carry Authority which is what my bulldogs eat and is sometimes hard to find. But Pets mart keeps ups with all things new when it comes to pets!!!

This store associate does not help on the phone to check one item, to see if they have in their store- hanging on the racks, large piece, easy even to see, simply says, she is not going to do it! Wow!Vs the Citadelās store even calls you back !! Huge difference!Shop accordingly, or simply go to a different store. They donāt deserve your money and business.( we have 12 animals) Thanks guys.

Great products and great prices! We tried to get a tarantula from there a few years ago and they told us it was a female and it died like a year later and was pretty sad. But other than that I haven't had any issues with PetSmart

Very helpful staff. Everything was where I needed it to be when I got there in a rush. My dog's favorite store even though he gets overwhelmed very easy around other dogs and spends our entire shopping trip in a full blown panic trying to get to the other dogs so he can play with them. I'm a repeat customer and as of right now there's no reason I wouldn't return again again, even just for my dog to have another place to hang out and socialize.
