Well they apparently lost my number so my poor dog was there for extra time and they didn't even check my membership to try and call me again... I finally called and they said they had the wrong number. Interesting because you had the right number and email to remind me of the appointment... at first I was like wow his hair is short!!! Then after looking at it closer and my dog excessively licking I notice he had been shaved way to short causing literally a burn ... I'm a first time dog owner so this wasn't the best experiance... very expensive and his tail looked so weird ... like um... did you cut his tail.at all...

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Had the worst grooming experience yesterday. My dog wasn’t matted very much and I told the groomer he could have a short cut (ideally the teddy look). Instead she shaved his whole body other than his face and tail. Tail looks untouched so makes him look absolutely ridiculous. I knew he would have to have a short haircut which I was okay with. I’m not okay with him all shaved espically since it’s winter for the next 3-4 months. I wish the groomer Savannah would’ve called and talked to me about the options since she clearly didn’t get the memo of me asking him not to be shaved. Extremely disappointed and will never be coming back to Petco.

Oh my goodness! Where do I begin. From the moment I walked in everything was perfect. Everyone was super friendly in the store. I was greeted by Kimberly in the grooming department and she also groomed my little teddy bear and she was so good to him. I told Her the type of cut I wanted on him and it was beyond what I asked For. It was perfection. The most important part for me was that Teddy had a great experience and he was so happy when I picked him up. I will Be back to see Kimberly at this Petco location. Thank you for taking really good care of my teddy!

Absolutely adore coming here and regularly shop here with my service dog. We, like all shoppers at this location, are treated like VIP's the moment we walk in the door. Today I had a medical episode and my service dog needed to task. The staff was more than accomodating assisting me in finding a safe and out of the way spot in the store for me to sit down and allow my service dog to task. This meant a few wonderful important things. 1. My service dog was not interfered with (Even though shes still in training and can be a little excitable, year old puppy). 2. I was able to stay safe in a medical episode. 3. I was able to go right back to shopping after my SD was done tasking. Huge shout out! Not only that but the groomers, the trainers and the staff in general have a positive track record in assisting us and always going above and beyond to help us out. I buy more than half my service dogs gear and supplies here because it's SUPER convenient to just pop in, get help with comparing items or knowing what solution would be best to start with, get her grooming needs done while I shop, and even get a few training questions answered when I was looking around at different professional trainers- which kept my service dogs training afloat until I was finally able to choose a trainer. The exchange and return policy is twice its weight in gold knowing that if any of her gear or supplies breaks or doesnt fit or etc. I can simply bring it back in and get a same day refund or exchange. (Which allowed us to get her the absolute best gear from the start. ) We always look forward to our visits here and it has even become a vital location for public access practice. The other shoppers are also extremely respectful and courteous as is the staff.

Kimberly did a fantastic job on the de-shedding treatment! I’ve never seen our shepherd so completely de-fluffed, smelling great and coat left incredibly soft. Whatever treatment she did was highly effective! Well done!

Elizabeth is amazing! My dog is typically anxious but he calms down with her. He arrives scruffy and leaves a gentleman! Always a great visit.

After recently moving to Colorado Springs, my husband and I decided to take our three dogs to be groomed at this location. Back in Illinois we never had any issues with the Petco groomers there, but the staff at this specific location are incredibly rude. It honestly took me by surprise. I am very easy-going when it comes to my dogs being groomed (don’t get bothered by necessary shaving and enjoy letting the groomers do their thing) but before they even took our dogs back my husband and I were highly disappointed with the poor customer service. I would only use this grooming location as an absolute last resort.

The groomer over charged me. She only shaved the dogs down to the skin. The dematting charge was not necessary. The overcharge was around $32 . I will never use her again.

Just had a horrible experience with a manager at Petco named Elizabeth in the grooming department over the phone. I requested Megan to groom my dog. Unfortunately, she is no longer working there (if Elizabeth was her manager, I can see why) I had a bad experience with another groomer there but couldn't remember who. I asked her to list some names because I don't want the same bad experience. She proceeds to tell me no, and that they just aren't a good fit. I'm like WHAT? Didn't even try to rectify or take a different communication approach. Completely uncalled for. My request was absolutely reasonable. This person needs management training. We will see if Corinne, her manager, calls me back.

Almost immediately Jeff asked if I needed help finding anything and then shared a few tips with me about cat care for fussy cats 😁Lauren saw me approaching the registers and headed to them immediately to get me checked out. She was great!!!Very friendly and helpful employees here.

I brought my dog in for a quick face trim. There is no seating and the salon is so small they can only allow one dog at a time. Customers are made to wait outside salon until there is room. Rio made it in and got his face trimmed. The haircut was not the quality I was looking for so I kindly asked if the groomer, Savannah, could touch up my dogs eyes a little more. She said he was really squirmy but she would try. I watched her as she was grooming his eyes and noticed that my dog certainly being squirmy on the table. I then observed her yanking my dog very roughly by his beard. I banged on the window to try and get her attention to her to stop but she didn’t hear me. She eventually let him off the table and brought him out. I was extremely concerned for my dog. I told Savannah how irritated I was that she treated my dog the way she did. She apologized but I made it very clear that she was way out of line and we would never come back. I then spoke with the manager to voice my complaints and he took immediate action. He said he would look at the footage and do an investigation. He apologized and was very professional in how he handled the situation. He explained that holding a dog by the beard is a common practice when trimming the face. I told him I understood this but explained that I was extremely angry by the way Savannah was yanking him around. I will never go here again and depending on the outcome of the investigation may never do business with any PetCo again. I will not recommend this PetCo grooming to anyone and will caution dog owners who I meet to not come here. This was abhorrent.

The groomer had to delay the appt one hour but that was no problem for me. She did a good grooming job on my dog and it was agreed to keep appts at 10:00 instead of 9:00.

Brought my rescue dog in for a trim and the trainer Mandy told us to wait outside because the groomer was busy with a dog so we naturally waited outside because our dog is a bit reactive to other dogs and I didn't want to make my dog go crazy or make the dog being groomed go crazy. So we waited until maybe 4:25 for what was supposed to be a 4 pm appointment, an old lady walks into the groomer so nonchalantly and the groomer happily checks her in ahead of us. When we let the groomer know we had been waiting 20+ mins right at the groomers door because Mandy told us to wait there for the groomer to finish she didn't honor our appointment even though the groomer literally saw us waiting there. I'm not one to argue so I didn't mistreat the groomer when I asked why we couldn't be next her only response was because we didn't walk in to check in. Like Mandy was the reason we were outside of the grooming waiting room and I wasn't about to wait out another dog's grooming. I felt so blatantly disrespected, they just blamed me for being skipped when I was being respectful and patient. I will never be coming back here and frankly I feel like they're reason was pretty racially motivated for happily leading in and checking in a white woman with a barky dog but telling the brown couple with a barky dog to wait outside.

Super thankful to be able to bring my senior dog for a last minute grooming. I made this appt this morning luckily. I was coming from Castle Rock (where there are shortages of groomers and/or not taking new clients). Anyway, I was running 5 minutes late and they were just fine with it after calling. I truly appreciate that! So just want to give a huge shoutout to her groomer today, Savannah. Thank you for taking care of my old girl and for all your recommendation. You went above & beyond! Totally worth the drive today.

EVERY time I make an online appointment at any Petco they cancel on me less than 24 hrs in advance. This is the third time it has happened. So they want 48 hours notice to cancel but feel free to justCancel on me anytime after I have confirmed the appointment by text. Maybe Petco shouldn't be booking appointments online that they can't honor. No more for me, done with Petco .

My dog was beautifully groomed, smelled amazing, and his nails were well trimmed. The staff was so sweet and kind and I could tell they really cared about how he looked as well as his well being. They knew him by name when I came in and treated him very well. Samantha, one is the groomers even went as far as looking over the details of the bill and finding the cheapest available option for grooming. I didn’t even have to say anything, she just did it because she’s a really great person and wonderful employee. I wish there were more Samantha’s in the world.

I love the convenience of booking an appointment online and receiving text of when my pet is ready for pickup. (I'm deaf and cannot speak over the phone.) Also, I appreciate the lower costs for the grooming services. I also appreciate my dog's groomer being attentive to communicate with me the best way she can. I plan to come back again soon.

Jae is our favorite groomer of all time! She is the only one that has ever been able to trim our Toy Fox Terrier's toenails correctly. She's also very attentive to managing our bi monthly appointments, prompt in returning texts, understanding when we need to change an appointment and we know she really enjoys her job. Our little dog used to be quite afraid but now he just marches right in the grooming salon with confidence and joy, just to see her!

Julia was very helpful and very patient with my two dogs, one 12 years old and the other 16 months old so very different personalities and both very different breeds. The old lady is a bagel and the little boy is a pit/boxer.
