Incredibly knowledgeable fish staff. Learned a bit more than I wanted to know about Betas (ha!). It's kind of crazy how much all the fish staff here know about fish. You never go into Walmart and find people who know anywhere near this much about their department - save the pharmacist. Hopefully they are well compensated for their vast knowledge.I kind of wish she would have been able to tone down the college level dissertation to a more beginner level primer, but more is better than less!

i got an australian green tree frog and i named him bob, the lady that was working with me was very kind and the animals seem healthy. he was very stressed i. his little cup so he was brown but once he got in the tank he brightened up

Bright, clean, well staffed, and well stocked. The reason I took one star away is that I needed tags for my cats, and the least expensive in the machine was $9. I thought I would find cheaper buying locally, but I can get for $5.95, engraving included (Petco also includes engraving) on Amazon.

Stevie and I love coming in all the time! The staff is awesome and always spoil her while dad, I, look at fish and aquarium accoutrements. Jennifer is awesome and SUPER knowledgeable. She has helped me procure such a unique collection of fish and friends of which I am beyond elated with. My favorite aquatic department of all Petco stores in town.

Went in for fish. was told to get 5 fish for half off on all prices. Grabbed a plant as well. Went up to counter, with a different cashier. No discount for 5 fish existed, and the lady that gave me the fish went somewhere in the back, cashier charged full price and charged for my plant. Drove home 30 minutes away and found no plant in my bag...I was dumb for not looking. I was told Petco is terrible for this kind of scam but didn't think anything of it. Now I never want to go back. Petsmart has lower prices anyways without any b.s. deals

I get my dog food there. It's a normal pet store. I wouldn't say it's good or bad. I signed up for their rewards/points program, but i never get to use them because they always seem to expire. So why have a program? I'll probably ask to be removed on my next visit.

Woman in the AC department seemed super knowledgeable.Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they were housing female Bettas with pea puffers and other fish. Pea puffers are extremely aggressive and many of the fish in the tank has extensive fin damage bc of this.

The older lady in the aquarium department was very rude. She is also extremely unknowledgeable about fish. She knew none of my questions. And even laughed at one of them about certain species coexisting together....totally clueless. When I went to check out, Daphne was so sweet and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions about my lobster and gave me so much great advice.

I just had an unfortunate visit with a groomer at petco. Apparently, having your pet rabies tag isn't enough to visit the groomer. She was very rude while letting me know that wasn't enough, all while her head was down and on her phone.I have been going to Petco for several years. I have purchased several different types of pets,I use your grooming services as well. I also use Vetco for my dog.This will not discourage me from continuing business with your company.Although some customer service for your employee should be considered.

Joa did an amazing job grooming and caring for our miniature poodle. Our dog has bad anxiety after being rescued from a puppy mill. Joa was patient and understanding of our dog’s needs, and did an excellent job grooming her, removing matted fur, and styling her beautifully! We will definitely be back in again.

This location is cluttered and very hard to navigate. There is SO MUCH stuff/displays crowded in the front of the store next to the registers, that it seems like they don't want people to go towards the aisles in back. Very hard to get a cart through the front displays to the registers.

I have had some issues with their fish DIEING. I started 2 aquariums in the last 6 months. I purchased fish for both. I have used the 30 day return POLICY for dead fish. But they don't want to exchange fish for fish. I will not go back. I put out the money.......now left with none support. Keep your fish.

Closest place to get indestructible (or as close to for my terrible chewer) toys. A bit pricey though. Used to get my dog groomed here, but they no longer do grooming. Fortunately I found a place that can do it for less, is a bit closer and makes appointments quicker.

The stars are for the employees, who are friendly and helpful, they keep things well stocked and organized so i can stock up on all of my ferret's needs.The corporation is another story. Im not thrilled with how they present them as "low maintenance pets" then set owners up for failure by pushing those tiny, triangle litter boxes which, after about a year, the ferret stops using. It causes so many people to surrender their ferret to a shelter, because they don't know why it stopped using the litter box and it's a nightmare to clean up.. Luckily, I eventually discovered that they grow out of those boxes, they need to fit all four feet inside or they won't use it. So I trimmed down a common plastic storage bin, and my ferret instantly returned to using the litter box. I'm sure the workers are just saying what the company tells them, even I had to do some digging to find the info online, so I don't blame them. But I do find the company disgusting for causing so much suffering, just to sell those tiny, useless litter boxes for $20 a pop.Tips for new ferret owners.. A plastic bin filled halfway with uncooked rice satisfies the digging impulse, so they don't dig up the carpet. It's also hilarious to watch them swimming in it! Also don't bathe them more than once a month or they'll produce more musky oils. Wash the bedding more often to control odor. It only takes a couple hours a day out of the cage to thoroughly socialize them since they sleep at least 20 hrs per day. They're highly social, sensitive, and intelligent little predators who are also prey, genetic cousins of weasels and otters. Highly social, they're eager to please, sort of like a kitten, with the soul of a dog, but with different needs from cats or dogs.

I visited this Petco store location on Black Friday. I was just browsing through while waiting for a haircut appointment in the same shopping center. It was pretty busy, but the store was able to handle the crowd. There were enough cashiers to handle it. Everyone was friendly and the store was well stocked, organized and clean. The pets in the store appeared happy and taken care of.

Friendly staff. Clean store. I wish I knew the man's name in the fish department whose always so nice and knowledgeable. He helped us get our fishtank setup so it would stay healthy. He explained the stages our tank water would go through and suggested when we'd be able to keep fish alive in there. He's awesome & our tank is doing great.

The fish tanks were very clean, and I only daw one dead fish. The employee working in the fish area educated me on my tank and why my fish died. Very clean and pretty friendly, just kind of wish that the wait at the register wasn't so long and the male cashier that was also working would've helped out checking people out sooner than he did.

All the employees are so friendly. Maria the dog trainer is great. We took our pup to the puppy play time. Puppy play time is free. 6month and younger puppy play time is on Saturday and Sundays.

When I went to Petco , I was greeted very well, I was approached by a customer service representative and I told her I would find her if I had any questions, not like a car lot where they swarm you, . Petco was very clean and the pets looked very healthy and clean,the pets living area were very clean as well. If you're looking for a pet I would definitely recommend Petco for your next pet or supplies, they were very well stocked up on pet food and supplies.

I always love Petco..... I just found the dry dog food about $5 more than others and the same with the treats. They had toys also but there wasn't a big selection. I have a 5 month old Staffie puppy and was looking for durable toys and didn't see a lot. I did end up finding a cute toy for only $20 and so far it's holding up well. The staff was extremely nice. I'll definitely keep going there for certain things.
