I practically never leave reviews, But we have had nothing but over the top, exceptional service at this daycare! Syndra (the pup!) Gets SO excited whenever we pull up in the parking lot, and ALWAYS comes home so happy (And tired!! After having a border collie, That's the best part of her coming home!) I love watching her on the cameras when it's her turn to play. They match the playgroups AMAZINGLY. My pup was around 6 months old when we first started coming, and they put her with the Seniors regardless of her age (She was a shy pup!) And they let us know when she graduated to the medium group!! I LOVE this place. You guys are lifesavers!!!

We love Lucky Dog! They have taken such great care of my dog, Pippi, for day care and boarding. I trust them and have peace of mind knowing that she is in good hands while she is there. She went from being very shy and nervous to go to now being excited when we pull into the parking lot and more confident and outgoing. She has really come out of her shell because of Lucky Dog and is more socialized with dogs and other humans. They take such great care and give extra attention to Pippi when she really needed it, which has helped her so much. We are very grateful for Lucky Dog.

Love this place! Oskar and Mollie had not been boarded for about three years. They just finished a 9-day stay and are happy and healthy! Mollie even lost weight with a consistent diet and lots of play. The exit bath was amazing as both dogs were so fresh and clean. If you want to feel good about leaving your dogs, Lucky Dog is the place! Great staff, great place! Boarding includes play/daycare, which is perfect & essential.

I would avoid Lucky Dog. They are unorganized and unreliable. I had to go out of town on short notice wich left me with little choice on where to leave my dog. I called ahead of time for the reservation, spoke to them at drop off and called while my dog was there, every time I received different information on price and what he would be doing while there. They took off his martingale collar saying it was a "dangerous pinch collar" and replaced it with a slip lead. He was supposed to get a bath that did not happen. I left him with more than plenty of food, clear directions on the food and left the same directions at drop off. I didn't get any of the extra food back and have no idea if they followed the directions. Hevan forbid your dog has any medications. Only pro is that my dog came home tried. Other than that, I will not be returning, and suggest you don't waste your time, money or stress.

We were traveling through and just needed a safe place for our boy so we could see some tourist attractions and they were willing to accommodate. More than this, they recognized his desire for human attention and they gave him special time and attention. We will definitely go back if we travel through again.

We have an extremely shy husky in our family who is terribly anxious around strangers. Since we've taken him to Lucky Dog, we have seen his confidence improve as he continues to have positive new experiences with all of the staff and other customers.He used to be afraid to enter the door; now he gets excited and howls when we tell him he gets to go. The staff know Kenai on sight and clearly have taken a lot of care to get to know him. Thanks for taking such great care of him!

Stay away from Lucky Dog Daycare. They gave my dog tons of water and food even though we had strict instructions to not do this, and then let her play with a pack of dogs immediately afterwards. She got bloat, they lied to us and said she was just a little lethargic but was taking her to the vet proactively, then lied to the vet and said we knew our dog had passed. The vet started crying when she realized she broke the news to me by asking what I wanted to do with the remains. It took them over 3 months to provide me video (which was small snippets) and they didn’t provide me the final moments leading up to his event. They claim they don’t know what I’m talking about. They literally mailed me videos on a sd card in the mail because they claimed the files were too big.

My little pit is so exhausted from running around and playing with new friends all day. They are patient and indulge nervous nelly new dog owners to make them feel at ease leaving their fur babies. Not only do they keep your dog with other dogs of only the same size, but there are cameras that live stream on their website so you can check in if you like. She plays with her mom, dad, and sister... and occasionally scrapes and knicks happen... but never had an issue here. She loves water and was happy to discover they have a kiddie pool :) Tip: buy your bully sticks here... wayyyyyy cheaper than petco or petsmart and you get one long one for 15 buck rather than 3 small ones you have to eventually take away bc they get too small (and therefore waste). Dog people are my kind of people, and it's obvious, and comforting, to know staff genuinely cares about your dog. And bonus.... she's so tuckered out she sleeps like a baby all evening and night!

We were shopping for a new kennel and my wife and I visited on a weekday afternoon before Spring break started. The owner-manager was on site and took us on a casual but thorough walking tour.We observed what seemed to be a very busy kennel, with a younger staff at the counter, accompanying dogs in and out of their areas, and several others working on the outside areas along the west side (facing I-25 in the not to far distance).Reported capacity was about 120 animals. We observed 30-40% of capacity during our visit. It appeared that business was thriving, with a normal lull before the holiday.We decided not to take our dog here because she has sensitive skin. We also heard the manager categorize dogs like ours as "medium size" which are the most challenging to accommodate because of their excitable temperament.In my opinion a dog's temperament is always partly dependent upon the care it is provided. If a dog is predetermined to be a certain way the owner must prove otherwise. In fact there is a requirement to leave a dog during the day at least once, ideally several times, prior to being allowed to board overnight. There is a significant charge for each of these day-stays.Here is my issue with that. If a normal domesticated, home-cared dog is provided a decent level of care, it will do OK with other dogs and it's handlers. Absent a terrifying experience at a kennel, and if a dog is handled carefully during its stay, staying for the day is a formality.The fact that a single layer chain link fence is used to separate dogs from one another (only when they are resting or sleeping) is going to guarantee that occasional problems will occur between dogs. This apparently is a risk that the business is willing to take. As dog owners, it's not an acceptable risk for us.We selected another local kennel that keeps dogs separate from each other with solid walls in each kennel (small rooms, in effect). That way dogs are not able to contact or see other dogs, and are not going to become injured/upset by scratching, nipping, or biting.If none of the dogs can come in contact, it is not going to be a problem in the first place, so one does have to determine later if it was another dog that caused an injury.Finally, the noise level was extremely high in the large common areas and the smell of excrement throughout the facility was barely being managed. At full capacity, these two issues would become frightful.I'm not trying to write a review that brings shame or argument. It's a business that is doing well and I doubt that my review will have an impact. It's just my point of view as a prospective client. We might return one day and find that things have changed for the positive.

The staff at Lucky Dog take such good care of my fur baby! I was nervous the first day I brought her to day care when she was around 8 months old and the staff was so helpful and so kind and eased my nerves. My pup has been going there regularly for over a year. I love that the staff know my dog, greet her and are always happy to see her. They are so kind and loving to all the pups there! The staff does a fantastic job! My pup always comes home tired and happy!

This has been my go to place for the last year when I’ve had to take extended trips out of the state. I enjoy that they provide Live videos you can log into to see your pup during play time. The reason for the 4-star is that my dog has come back sick just recently. It may be coincidence or a fluke; however, with the previous owners, this has never happened.

Absolutely the best place for boarding and day care! I have been taking my two dogs here for years. They provide great care and attention, and it's fun to watch my dogs play on the webcams. I often see the staff sitting with the dogs and giving them love. They separate dogs into play groups appropriate for age and activity level. All around excellent experience!

My dog stayed here for one day and came home with kennel cough. I would not recommend sending your pet here! I provided them with all of his vaccines and he is vaccinated for this but he still caught it here, which probably means he spent too much time in the kennel or they are not keeping up to date vaccination records for all of the dogs. I hope this can be fixed moving forward.

I've taken my dogs here many times and they normally enjoy themselves and have no issues. Sadly, we just got back from a trip where our dogs stayed at Lucky Dog for four nights. One has diarrhea and the other has been throwing up since they got home. After spending $360, I expect better. I am disappointed that I no longer trust Lucky Dog to take care of my girls.Update/Response to Owner: I had to take my dog to the emergency vet early yesterday where they did identify an infection and a fever. The other is doing better. Also, I did call and ask to speak to a manager before your response yesterday and was told I would receive a call back, but I never did.

I love this location and employees that are there. Every time they see my little one coming through, they are so positive, excited, loving, and caring. And not just to my fur baby, but everyones. If you are thinking about boarding or doggy day care definitely give them a chance, I have yet to be disappointed and hoping I won't get to that point, because I really do love this place and the people!!

Our boy Gnocchi absolutely LOVED it here. Gnocchi was here every other day for about a year and we have no complaints at all. The staff was always fantastic and gave us updates (on account of Gnocchi’s mischief) and loved on our boy so so much. Can’t speak positively enough about our experience at Lucky Dog. Gnocchi always came home happy and tired, even if all he did was sit on the staff’s feet all day. It was such an awesome experience for him to get socialized with other dogs and awesome people. We will miss Lucky Dog!

Dog care is good for social dogs. Our dogs were always healthy and happy after stays including play. We tried other kennels where play was not included, with just a dog run, and our dogs would start to do poorly after more than 5 days.Note: We have had less than successful experience with their tracking of and managing credit on account. If you do not use their services very regularly, monthly, I suggest only paying for services as they are rendered.

I take my pup here for years and never had any problems. They do a quick wash for $10 and I love it! My dog loves the all day play. He comes back tiered. Good price for over night boarding with all day play. Great for when I need to stay in Denver. Workers love the dogs.

I’ve had my sweet Penelope here since she was old enough to get all of her shots to go. She absolutely loves it! She’s always so happy! She enjoys Lucky Dog as much as the dog park! I want the absolute best for her. They also have some great food and treats! She has several dog friends in the neighborhood that also love going to day care!

They watch my boy Gnocchi every week and he comes back a very happy and less hyper. My fiance and I both work full time so we needed to find our boy a place he can go during the day that will keep him entertained. They have cameras available to tune in and watch your pup which is pretty neat, I tend to not use it in fear of catching my dog doing something silly. Staff is nice and always excited to see your pup. They also sell food and toys which is convenient for the dog parent on the go.
