They did such a good job with my fluffy girl! She smelled and looked great and I really appreciated that she wasn’t in a kennel all day. The de shedding was very much needed. The front desk staff person was very kind and friendly. We’ll be back for sure!

As with most shops, the communication is a barrier but they did a good job! We’ve been trying every one in town to find one to be our “go to “. This might be it. They don’t have many colors to choose from but they work hard.

If I could rate this 10 stars I would-Canine design/Kings Ohana have been a life saver for me and my rescue dog, who has extreme separation anxiety. With their help of daycare and boarding (and now in house training!), my dogs confidence has increased exponentially and I don’t need to take him every single day.They are my go to for boarding— other kennels in town turn off the heat at night to save on utilities and claim it’s for safety, but the team here makes certain that the animals are warm and comfy at all hours.I really enjoy dropping off/picking up my dog so I can catch up with Michelle, Frank, Brandy, and everyone else who works here. The kennel staff, front desk, and groomers have all gone out of their way to make my pup happy and safe. They are communicative, proactive, and genuinely helpful with anything I’ve needed or with questions I’ve had.We really do feel like Ohana here. 💚

Kind, friendly staff who genuinely care and remember me and my pet when we come back. The only thing I have to complain about are the snotty, entitled Broadmoor CUSTOMERS who are always throwing a fit whenever I'm there 🙄 I've been bringing my dog since he was 8 months old and he's doing wonderful learning to socialize and play with the other dogs, hasn't even been in a dog fight, even when he was boarding here for 4 days, GOD BLESS!!

Absolutely love this place, Bruno has many friends ( probably making some enemies too cause he is a rambunctious puppy ) He is happy to go there and tired when he gets home. Staff always makes me feel welcome. Highly recommend bringing your 4 legged family member here

I will definitely use this service again. The facility is kept clean and maintained, the staff was kind to my dog. Their rates are reasonable (so make sure you tip them). She had a peaceful stay without incident. I can have peace of mind when I travel somewhere now.

This was my first time boarding my cat. Their cat condos are three tiered to give more space. They took care of both food and medication needs. My cat wasn’t nearly as phased by the separation as I was, so I take that to be a good sign for how well they treated him during his stay. I will definitely be returning for future boarding needs.

The woman at the front desk was rude to us as we were checking in our dogs. It seemed like she could not care less about my dogs names or taking them back. However, the kennel staff took amazing care of them and I could tell that they had a lot of fun there.

I was a little disappointed and frustrated with this place due to a lot of miscommunication! When I first called to schedule my dogs for boarding, I was told that there would be no problem dropping my dogs off on a Sunday. Two weeks after I had scheduled the boarding, I had received a phone call saying that I was unable to drop my dogs off on a Sunday and that I would have to drop them off a day early or a day late. I could not drop them off a day late because we would be leaving town Sunday evening hence why we asked to drop them off on Sunday. At this moment in time, I had no choice but to drop them off a day early, for everywhere else was booked. I was upset at this point for I had but only a couple of days to decide what to do with my dogs.Secondly, when booking the boarding, I was told that my dogs could be dropped off anytime before 6. When booking my dogs in for Saturday instead, they did forget to mention that my dogs needed to be checked in before noon. I had gotten a call Saturday at noon informing me that they were closing and that I needed to get my dogs in. At this point I had decided that these guys do not communicate. Although their hours are posted, they just need to make it clear that their customers are aware. I had felt bad for my dogs for not only dropping them off a night early but a day and night early. At the very least, they could have offered me a free night stay for it was on their end that I had been misinformed in the first place and it was not only my dogs but my wallet who had to pay for that mistake. If I had another option for my dog's care, I would have taken them somewhere else.Question: If pets are boarded up in your care, then there must be somebody there 24/7, yes? If so, why is it that you cannot or do not check pets in on any given day?It is stressful enough for families and pets to be separated to have to board them a full day and night ahead of schedule.On that note, I am still grateful for my pets were taken care of. So thank you for at least that. But you guys need to have much better communication.

I have two big, furry, affectionate dogs. One is 11 and the other is 6. I have been taking them to Canine Design for more than three years for both doggie day care and grooming. They can't wait to go in! They just love it. The staff is friendly and all the dogs seem to be having a great time. I have recommended them to many friends and all have been happy with the cleanliness and care of their puppies!

My dogs have been customers of Canine Design Salon for many years. The owner, Margaret, and her staff members are always friendly and helpful. They groom my dogs beautifully. I have a Husky, a Maltese, and a Toy Poodle and they always look great when they come home from their spa day. I would highly recommend this grooming salon to anyone who wants the best for their furkids!! I will continuing taking my doggies there for many years to come.

Nice grooming, costs par for the course to a little high. Terrific boarding and day care. I hesitate to recommend as would like them to not be too busy. My dog LOVES them, doesn't mind going in, LOVES the staff, wonderful owner, can't say enough good about them. Wish they were open later, but maybe that helps keep them the greatest. Love this place.

We love Canine Design! For the past 18 years or so we have brought our dogs here for grooming. We have had 5 American Eskimo dogs of various sizes. They always looked beautiful when we picked them up. Our current little guy is not the most friendly fellow, but he loves going to day care and being groomed. We've always been treated with the greatest respect and kindness by the owner, Margaret, and all her staff. We wouldn't even think about going anywhere else!

My GSD loves going here. The staff is great, and they are very attentive. We have gone here for grooming services and zero complaints. I drive by every morning, and I always see them walking the boarded pets- which is nice to see. Big box boarding stores keep your pets indoors 24/7. So glad they are so close to the neighborhood.

Max and I both love this place. I have been dropping Max off for daycare almost everyday starting Oct 2017 bf I go to my 9-5, and used them for some overnights and grooming. The owner and all her employees are fantastic. I know he’s taken care of and happy being there. He has never come home dirty or out of sorts. I know he has fun and worn out from playing bc he jumps in his bed in the car and sleeps the whole way home. It’s great to be able to have a place to bring your pets you trust implicitly. The building itself is very nice and always smells fresh and clean. Unfortunately Max and I are moving to Denver this very week, and are so nervous we won’t find anywhere as good for him. I believe the pricing is more than fair for the quality of care Max gets. If you are looking for a doggy daycare, groomers or place to bring your furry family members, this is the best place in the area. :)

We have been bringing our pup Boulder here for almost two years. He loves to come here and play during the day! The staff is always friendly and accommodating and they do a great job with surveillance of the dogs while they are interacting. I would certainly recommend Canine Design for daycare and boarding!

I took in my 5 month puppy, for her first grooming. She had a complete vet check the week prior when she received her final vaccines.Canine design plucked her ears during the grooming. The following morning both her ears were extremely sensitive to touch. By the afternoon her right ear was also smelling and oozing.I called my vet and they said the grooming was likely the issue for the problem. Canine Design took absolutely no responsibility nor did they offer any solution. If you care about sanitary conditions or your dog’s health I would be cautious. I went there because they had good reviews. Now I’m looking for emergency services because my vet cannot get her in!

Visiting Colorado springs & needed overnight care for our dogs. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to like working with the pets. Had them groomed also. At pick up they both where happy & beautifully groomed. Great clean environment. Would recommend.

My dog’s favorite day care by far! The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming and the play areas are set up well for the dogs. My basset hound loves to lounge on the comfortable beds all day but there are areas for more active dogs as well. Glad I found Canine Design Salon & Country Club!

Our fluffy dog, Skylo, gets the best care from her friends at Canine Design. We take her to the day care for playdates and exercise, and to the salon to get bathed and groomed. We always know she is in a great, safe environment, and that she is really happy when she is there. We have over three years experience with this business, and have been very pleased - especially when they offer extra discount packages when buying multiple daycare days!
