I was really unsure about boarding my cat while I was away for work, I was kinda a wreck over worrying about my cat the first few days away. But the staff took such good care of Loki and me. They always returned my texts with sweet updates and cute pictures. Loki seemed to enjoy his stay a lot (I recommend asking for the free play). Seemed like he got lots of one on one time. He loses hair on his ears when he’s alone too long, and his ears look great! He looks physically well and doesn’t seem stressed. The way the staff said goodbye to him when I came to pick him up showed me how they have genuine feelings towards the cats they watch over. He seems safe and cared for. Would 100% take my cat here again for my next work trip. Thanks for taking good care of Loki ❤️

First time away from my two kitties and I could not be more happy with Catology and their incredible staff. The Meowy Christmas package was also well worth it.. I received the cutest photos of them opening their stockings. I will be bringing my boys back again and I'll be more prepared with a tip next time because they truly keep you and your kitties happy and healthy. Worth every penny spent. Took my long haired cat in for a "scissor cut". Be sure you know what they mean by "scissor cut" or you might get your cat back way different than you want it. They took the hair down almost to the skin across her body but left everything from the neck up long. They also left the tail long, and the hair on the back of her legs long. Some people might like that look, but she now looks like a freak to me. I took her back and they cut the hair around her neck down a bit, and cut the hair tail down a bit (very so-so job). My local barber could of done a better job. The gal up front needs to consider when she's saying people need to be more respectful to her just how upset customers might be. And tone that power bite down a bit. You go here if you want, but be sure what they mean when they call something by a name that a normal person might think means what it should mean. Scissor cut does not mean scissor cut. It's more like a shave on the body and there you go. Really sad.

Catology was such a find when my family had to place our fur babies in boarding while our home was being restored from a chimney fire. They worked with my homeowner’s insurance to give us a contract that insurance would honor when that seemed impossible.I had never boarded my kitty, Master Shifu, before and was concerned with him going from being an outdoor/indoor kitty to a contained room and sure enough, their caring team made a joy of working with us! They were so kind, had a very clean facility, and were clearly designed to care for the kitty first. I had to change over my care for boarding while they were relocating but I will always seek them out when looking for a safe place for my kitty to find quality care!

My diabetic cat spent seven nights at Catology. I am very pleased with the service. They were careful and competent with the insulin injections twice a day, keeping track of his eating and checking blood sugars as needed. He came back happy and maybe even a little heavier. They are kind and dedicated to doing excellent cat care. I’d go back any time I needed them. I recommend them most highly.

Fantastic place to drop off your cat while you’re away from home. All the cats seem very calm and happy. It’s obvious that the staff takes wonderful care of the cats while they’re in. My cat was very happy to get back home, but clearly was very well cared for while she was at Catology. She was clean, alert, and in as good a mood as could be expected when I brought her home.Prices are completely fair for the amount of care they receive and for how nice the facility is. I will absolutely use Catology again next time I need someone to look after my cat for a long trip.

Previously used them over a yr ago and they were great. Not sure what has changed but they never answer the phone and the last person I spoke to was not very friendly. *update to response* - calling a business during business hrs, having to leave a voicemail and wait for a call back is kind of ridiculous. Why not just have your phone go straight to voicemail if it’s an inconvenience

After doing research on a bunch of different places to board my cat for four days, this seemed like the best fit. Admittedly, I was extremely nervous leaving my cat for the first time with strangers because she has some separation anxiety. I can't express how happy I am with this business. My cat was extremely well cared for and everyone that works here seems so friendly and like they really care about the kitties. Thank you for taking such great care of Meowticia and making sure she was comfortable and loved. We will be back for sure!

It was a great place to take my two cats when I had have somewhere for them to go while I was out of town. Everyone that helped me was wonderful and the hotel was nicely laid out. My two were very well taken care of and I most definitely would take them there again should the need arise. Thank you to everyone at the Catagonia! **FINAL EDIT**He did not recover, the dehydration damaged his kidneys beyond recovery and he experienced total organ failure two weeks later.**ORIGINAL REVIEW**When I picked up my 16 year old cat he was lethargic and could barely walk with trembling legs and a hunched back. When we got him to his vet, he was diagnosed with severe dehydration and early stages of malnutrition. He had NO health issues when we dropped him off, per a vet checkup only one week prior.The first photo is from the day I dropped him off, the next two are his condition when we picked him up.**EDIT**Thank you to Catology management for taking responsibility for their oversight and taking measures to correct this thin spot in their service.

First time reviewer and don't usually do this, but wanted to share for other anxious pet parents. What a positive experience! I was very concerned over boarding my cat as he has never been boarded before and thrives on human interaction. This cat literally sits on my lap most days as I work . Also, he is 18 and has chronic pancreatitis which requires daily meds and lots of attention. He was at Catology for 10 days and came home as happy and healthy as could be .. thank you to the wonderful staff for caring for our sweet boy!

I felt totally comfortable leaving my cats here while I was on vacation, and they were comfortable and relaxed when I picked them up. Great facilities and especially EMPLOYEES!They REALLY need to have webcams available to watch the room while you're gone, I'd have paid extra for a cammed room! Next time I would bring a rug, the room floors are slick and cold.

This place is a cat boarding paradise! Giant, open space cages with various platforms and structures. The staff are very considerate of the nuanced needs of each individual feline. Normally my cat is ready to leave his boarding cage and return home, but here he resisted departure from his cage’s high perch.It is on the pricier side, and many of your cat’s nuanced needs might result in extra charges, but for longer boarding stays, I will be bringing my cat back.It is important to note that if you stay too short a time, you will need to bring your own litter box with litter.

Catology IS the place for cats. The staff here love cats, and it shows. I brought my cat in for a bath because he was getting a bit matted. But my cat is afraid of people. It took 3 months to get him to come out of hiding to sit under an end table where we could not make eye contact but still where he would let me pet him. So, I wanted a place who could give him the bath he needed while still being empathetic to his fears. The staff here did a fantastic job, and they have earned my business for both cats.

My cats are currently residents here. We had a pipe break in our home and had to all leave for one to two weeks. This place is amazing.my cats have never been away from home or us and it's very hard on them. I have never seen anything like Catagonia and the people that work there? They are not your average "just needed a job" people. These are clearly all cat lovers that I could not trust more with my furry balls. Thanks for being so awesome Catagonia! Your making this crisis just a bit easier on my family.

Highly recommend! We had two cats there for almost two weeks and they were so great! My cats actually came back more friendly which made me think they actually spent time letting them. Will definitely board here again in the future! Thank you for caring for our babies!

Best cat boarder in town hands down. Staff was very attentive and provided updates via text with a photo of how our cat was doing during her stay there. She's a very anxious cat and they were able to accommodate and make her feel comfortable.

My 2 girls are staying at the Catagonia cat hotel for over 30 days, and I cannot be happier with the care they are receiving! It makes me feel so much better knowing they are continuously looked after. I get to pop in anytime and snuggle my kitties when I want too, which is a bonus!

I've taken my kitty here multiple times for grooms and each time the team does any amazing job. My cat gets a little bit of anxiety when she has to go anywhere and nervous piddles herself. The staff were happy to clean her up and even washed the blanket I sent her with, which was a great surprise upon pick up. Catology employees really know cats and show compassion towards all kitties. I will not go anywhere else for a groom or boarding. Their facilities are clean and neat, the cats in the hotel seem very happy! Also, great cat products that I haven't seen other places!

After moving from Georgia, I boarded my three kitties at Catology. When finding a home became difficult, the weeks became unaffordable with storage, rent and mortgage, I had to surrender my cats to HappyCats, the kitties remained at Catology for several additional months. I visited my kitties as often as I could hoping I could eventually bring them home. The staff at Catology were absolutely wonderful. They took the very best care of my kitties and even through the tears of surrendering my sweet kitties, were always sympathetic and supportive about how much my husband and I wanted to be able to bring our kitties home. Everyone was always so friendly and so generous with the care they provided. They became a part of my kitty family.We finally did find a home, after 5 months of worrying if our cats would be adopted and accepting that it would be alright for the kitties to have a new family. It worked out that we were able to finally adopt our beloved kitty cats and bring them to our new home. I can't express how grateful I am for how much everyone at Catology cares for the cats in their care and for how kind they were to me.

We took our cat Ginger to these wonderful groomers and she visibly looked lighter. They really helped get her summer coat out and hair has stopped just floating about the air. I brush her daily to keep shedding down, and it was noticeably less than before we took her here.The place is also VERY clean. There is no pee smell at all, like you may find at other grooming places in the area.Ginger also was not overly stressed and they treated her so well.They have a great staff that really love cats. Worth every penny. I'm sad we are moving out of state cause I'd use them everytime if I could.

I was extremely nervous about leaving my cat for two weeks while we were in between housing. The entire staff was amazing, attentive, and communicative throughout my cat's stay. He quickly went from a stressed grump to his normal talkative cuddly self. The staff made sure he got his medications and kept me updated on feeding and bathroom changes. I was even able to go visit him which made me (and I'd like to think him too) so happy. I absolutely recommend Catagonia!

Needed a place to home our kitties for a week while we went on travel. This place promised snuggles and playtime and has great apartments for the kitties to play, relax, and explore. Glad we brought them here. Staff is attentive and took great care of our furballs. When/if the need arrives we will be glad to use this service again.

The best place for your cat is of course, at home with you. When that isn't possible Catagonia makes a good second best. The staff are very friendly and great with cats. My cat doesn't really like new people, but decided the staff were great after just a few days.

The staff here is amazing. They're super friendly, very helpful and caring. Our furry family member loves staying here. The accommodations are large and very clean. The entire facility is well taken care of. Communication with the staff is excellent and they're sure to answer every question. We also use their grooming services which do a wonderful job ensuring our cat is very clean and nails trimmed.

Catagonia Cat Hotel is amazing. They take great care of your pets. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They sent me updates as to how my cat was settling in and then Kristyn (such a cat lover!) sent me some photos of my cat showing how happy he was at the hotel. When unexpected things happened they were more than willing to extend his stay. They fed him exactly as I specified and he got free roam time which is awesome. Over all probably the best business I have dealt with in a while. Helped me through some rough times. I would recommend Catagonia to all people who want to make sure their cat is in good hands of people who truly love and respect animals.
