I took my Golden Retriever here for his first ever grooming. Reviews and pics looked decent and prices fair. The couple running the place seemed nice enough and the time frame for the grooming seemed more than ample for a good thorough job. I picked up my dog in a hurry to go to another appointment, so didn’t look him over very well. They did have me pay before they showed me my dog as well, which seemed strange. I noticed they cut off all of his feathering, which I had specifically asked to just be trimmed, not removed. However, they said they’d make a note for the future and would just trim it per owner preference. I left neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. However, as I got my dog out in the sunlight and got a better look a bit later, it was obvious this was a complete hack job. Cuts were extremely uneven with very distinct scissor lines all over, especially around the ears. They said when I picked him up that he was a very good boy for the duration so I know it wasn’t due to him being difficult. I didn’t bother bringing him back for an attempted fix or refund as a fix would likely make it worse and a refund would be unlikely and not worth getting too heated over. They seem to do well on small dogs from pics on their site, but for my long haired Golden, I am highly disappointed with their work and would not recommend.

I was nervous about trying a new groomer, but the team at Best Friends Pet Salon was amazing! Both of my babies look and feel so much better. Would give 10 stars if I could. Definitely recommend!!

This is a great little shop. I've brought my baby girl here for most of her life. They are always friendly, efficient, cost effective, and most of all they treat my Shepherd like she is their own. When they are done, she always looks perfect. Coat clean, shedding removed, nails clipped and smalls like a breath of fresh air. This is fantastic campared to the way she comes in as she is Tom Boyish and loves dirt! My only suggestion is on-line appointments. Though they will usually take your pet same day, being able to ensure you can plan ahead would be great!

Sadie has been going to Best friends for over five years. Heather and David know Sadie and are excited to see her every time we come in. Their customer service is excellent and prices are great. We've never thought of taking Sadie anywhere else. Support our local small businesses and give Best Friends a try.

We’ve brought all our dogs here past and present and will continue to do so. They’re awesome, caring, and soo nice. They do such a wonderful job with all my dogs, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Ive been going to Best Friends pet salon for years they have not disappointed. My to poms look fantastic once they have seen the groomers. I also have a feisty German Shepherd mix dog that I've been taking to Dave and Melissa since he was young. I would trust no other groomer working with my fearful Shepard. They know dogs and their behavior and make it least stressful on all my dogs as possible.

A bit of "clipper burn" on the right side of Diesel's face last time our Welch Terrier was groomed. It took a full two weeks to heal. We didn't see it until we got him home; Melissa was keeping it a secret! No apology.

Best groomer in town, good prices and our dogs always come out looking like show dogs. Mrs. Settle knows her way around a set of clippers and won't ever take my dogs to any other groomer. Dogs are treated above and beyond here!

Best Friends Pet Salon did great with my fur baby. She has horrible anxiety when it comes to grooming especially nail trimming. Honeybun looked amazing when I picked her up. I recommend this grooming salon to anyone and everyone!

After almost 7 years I took my boxer mix to the groomers for the first time. She has a lot of anxiety and gets stressed easily. Best Friends Pet Salon was wonderful and calm and patient with my Xena. She looked amazing when I picked her up and didn't seem to have any issues. The trust I have in these groomers is immense and very important to me. Will be going back.

I have taken my three canine friends to Melissa and Dave for years. They ALWAYS do a wonderful job washing and grooming my pets. They keep detailed notes on each cut they do so there isn't a concern the next time I drop off. The dogs have always come out looking beautiful.

I did not start taking my Cavalier spaniel to get groomed until he was elderly and I have had some issues at different places that I have gone to so my dog has not been happy about going to the groomer until we started going here on the advice of a friend and neighbor. And even though when we walk in he still is a bit hesitant, he always comes out happy and he won’t let me take the bandanna off for about a week LOL! He always looks good too but being happy is just as important to me as how he looks so thank you for keeping him happy!

I don't have any complaints, I have 3 dogs and each gets a trip to Best Friends about twice a year. The staff has always been accommodating, the pups look great and seem happy when we pick them up. They always give me a rundown of any issues they see and tips to keep them looking good. Thanks!

I would NOT recommend this groomer! We set an appointment for 9:30am after reading all the recommendations on Nextdoor. We arrived a little early and asked if our dog could be on placed on a leash and not crated after his appointment. The older man at the desk said that wasn’t possible that he’d have to be crated. So we asked him how long it would take (thinking we could wait or come back as soon as the spa package was complete). He said it could take 1.5 to 3 hours depending on “people coming in and the phone ringing and how busy they are”. He was extremely condescending and rude the entire time. We said we’d have to pass and left. What is the point of an appointment if it’s going to take them 1.5 to 3 hours to complete a simple spa package? I’m very surprised this place is recommended by anyone by how rude and unprofessional the man was. Back in Florida our groomer would accommodate our nervous dog by not crating him and would take him back to begin his wash at his appointment time. It would take less than an hour and we’d pick him up pretty close to when they were finished. It was simple, professional, and only $25! (This place was going to charge me $40-45, the estimate when I made the appointment). I would never trust my dog in the hands of this groomer, especially that man! Zero stars!

I have never found a grooming place I liked until I found Best Friends! My Shih Tzu is really anxious about being groomed and I hate leaving him anywhere. They did everything I asked for him and helped me with tips to maximize his time between grooms. My dog came out so happy and running around after his cut and I’m so glad I finally feel comfortable leaving him with someone.

Can’t give enough positives about this experience. I had been bounced from a previous corporate vender after waiting 6 weeks already and decided to give Best Friends a call!Received prompt response to my message, which include typical instructions regarding the post COVID virus & expectations.Dave & Melissa both checked in with me at each step of the process. After getting the dog back, all of the dogs’ needs were completed to exact request, and with great precision.Looking forward to many more visits here and will be sure to share with friends for their pets too.

They are wonderful to our Sheltie, Koa and Cruzer our half Shih Tzu, half Chihuahua. They always look fabulous when they are done! Finding someone who knows how to groom a Sheltie is wonderful! We always love how they look! Couldn’t be happier!

Sometimes I feel like they just give my dog a haircut and spray her with perfume and don't wash her. Which is lame because I pay for a wash.Also they're pretty rude sometimes.and if they were any type of professional they'd try and make compromise with customers instead of denying people.
