Great customer service! I needed a dowel rod for a toy closet replaced and wasn’t sure where to find one, they fixed me up perfect with a custom cut dowel fitted to the perfect size within 15 minutes. I’m so pleased! Much easier than anticipated. Thank y’all!

I really like this hardware store! They have an amazing selection! Their customer service is fantastic! They make fresh popcorn for customers to eat, while they shop!They made keys for my Subaru Outback! Their key making department is amazing! They have so many choices and can make keys for cars, houses, etc! They make the keys to the newer cars with the electronic buttons and the prices are much better than the dealership!They didn’t carry the key to my car, so they special ordered it! Julie was so friendly and worked to ensure that the key worked perfectly, she checked it and then double checked it! Travis helped, when my car decided to be fussy! I left a very happy customer! Thank You, Julie and Travis! 😁They have hard to find cleaning supplies! They carry all the nuts and bolts, nails, etc. They have cabinet pulls. They carry plumbing and electrical supplies. They carry stuff for the garden and everything to winterize your home! They carry Yankee Candle products. They have cooking supplies.If you can’t find something, ask! If they don’t have it, they can probably order it!You must really come in and look around! This is the hardware store of years ago, you will not go for minutes after minutes without seeing an employee. This is the friendly Ace Hardware Store that you went to years ago, with all the advantages of modern check outs and rapid special orders.

Excellent customer service everytime! Mark is exceptional, and so is Travis. Mark made a womens experience so much more easy. Also another you lady, I think her name was Hannah.This is my store! If your a lady, and your man sends you to the store for something you no nothing about, ask for these exceptional people.Tina is always very helpful as well.

Yes! Our neighborhood go-to Hardware Store, and not just the DIY locals like myself - but contractors who are working on projects on the West side as well and who, like me, hate driving across town to a big box store. Always get Exceptional Customer Service, and the ACE Rewards are really nice perk too. Great store, well stocked, with knowledgeable and friendly staff - just like the old days. 5 thumbs up for the Uintah Gardens Ace Hardware Store!

Helpful happy people work here. The staff radios ahead to assist with my purchase. Glass cutting is on the spot so super convenient. I replaced three broken windows in one day, diy! and get it done without weeks of lead time for a glass service company. I quickly got help in hardware finding the right wood screws at the best price. Window glazing tube maybe a $1 more than big box, meh who cares. My time is worth more. I literally leave here happier than when I walked in.O! And I love the kitchenware gadgets. I had been looking around for these two items I found here and I added to my purchases.

Honestly, you guys have set the bar very high with customer service - there is always someone willing and able to help with ANYTHING you need. I always have a wonderful experience at this ace hardware, David helped me yesterday and did a wonderful job.I went in looking for rooting powder and sphagnum moss and neither one of us really knew the difference between rooting powder and the liquid, he stood by my side, helped me read the directions and figure out what I needed. He even assured me that if it was not what I needed and it didn’t work for me I could return it -which to be honest if it didn’t work for me I wouldn’t return it anyways because I never remember to- but it made me feel secure in my purchase.Thanks David!

Store manager waited on me. He was very polite and knowledgeable. Underlings all seemed new and less knowledgeable. The store was not busy and staff were able to provide excellent customer service. If you might need any customer service then I recommend you drive past Home Depot and go to this store instead.

Their key maker is defective and the keys I had made did not work. They said that had been happening a lot and offered to make me new keys. But why would I come back to have them make me new, also defective keys? They were unable to give me a refund on the keys over the phone. I totally understand machinery breaks down and mistakes happen. However, we spent $100 at the store and I feel the customer service should be more accessible. This isn't an issue with the workers, they did all they could. I have done plenty of refunds over the phone, I know it is possible. Ace just doesn't think their customers are worth it. I'll be going elsewhere.

This store is the best! The staff are so helpful, they have everything you could ever need packed into the store, free popcorn, fair prices, dog friendly, and give a discount to community garden members. This ace hardware is our go to for nearly everything.

The folks at the Uintah Gardens Ace were a great help!I was in a bit of a pickle, having shipped a large wooden case with a glass door from Dayton, Ohio, to my customer in CO Springs. The case survived, but the glass in the door did not.The store manager took my call, and had the glass cut for me, and I was able to cover the cost over the phone. Ace contacted my customer once the glass was ready for pick up too!I ended up with a happy customer, and so did the Uintah Gardens Ace.5 stars for a nice chat with the manager, and another 5 stars for their excellent Long Distant Customer Service!!

Fantastic Experience!I walked in, in my workout clothes, on Saturday and was immediately greeted and assisted by Adam. Can't tell how many times I have been in Lowes for example - even in dress clothes - and am ignored. Clerks will pass me by and go up to the man just down the aisle from me, not knowing he is my boyfriend, and ask if HE needs assistance. That happened twice at Lowe's!So, being greeted, especially in workout clothes, is 1st positive.Told Adam 'I am actually a vendor, and would like to speak to the person in charge.' This is where Adam could have blown me off. But he did not. He called Travis, the manager, and re-iterated with accurate detail, rare and impressive, what I said to him.Travis said, absolutely, and came out to greet me.WOW. That was INCREDIBLE.Also spoke to Kyle who was very friendly and helpful about Key Fobs, then checked out by Tara who was again very friendly.I have shopped in this store before, always a positive experience.Another time I have always remembered, and I wish I remembered the clerks name - He was extremely helpful on ensuring I was getting the proper furnace filters given I had 3 dogs and was on a budget. I remember they didn't have enough in stock, I need 2 filters at a time for my furnace, so he helped me with a second filter and gave me a coupon.Thank you so much.

Julie gets a BIG shout out from me! She hung in there for a long two weeks while I ordered a pond heater, discovered that it was not the best model, was put in touch with Wendy at Customer Service (who also provided excellent service), and eventually decided (based on price) to purchase the original model. Through it all, Julie remained responsive and professional, returning my calls and never making me feel like a bother. It took the patience of Job on Julie’s part as even my husband and I had wearied of the protracted process. She is an outstanding employee, and due to this experience I will make a point of doing business with Ace in the future. Thank you, Julie.By the way, Ace also gets my appreciation for offering a terrific Black Friday coupon sale which enabled me to purchase the pond heater at half price. Julie’s final service to me was to wait on me and make the coupon purchase, despite some confusion, smooth and easy. First to last, I could not have been happier with the service and value I received!

Almost all the employees here are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, so I really do wish I could be leaving a 5-star review. However, the cashier with dyed-blonde hair always treats with noticable disdain compared to other customers, and I think it's because I ride my bike here so I show up with my backpack on. Not sure if it's because she thinks I'm stealing or it's some classist thing but as soon as I set my backpack on the counter to get my wallet out she rolls her eyes and is terse with me, then makes a big show of dusting her counter off like my backpack somehow got it filthy. Would really be nice to be treated as a valued customer.

I can’t say enough about the customer service at this store! The manager, Kayla, is so freaking amazing! I ordered a fire pit online and (through no fault at all of this store) it wasn’t actually in stock. HOWEVER, Kayla not only found me a different better fire pit and made sure I would be able to get it this week instead of next month. I was planning to buy the accessories at Lowes because they were cheaper but the customer service I received at this store makes me want to give them my business because she just won my trust. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

The people in this store have no idea what they are doing. And could care less to fix problems that they caused. They chared me multiple times and said they voided it but nothing they can do to put the money back in my account. It was not a return it a was a purchase that their cashier messed up 3 times.This Ace hardware sucks!

Unreliable!I needed a new FOB and key for my car. I went here because I've had other keys made here with no problems.They didn't have the FOB and key for my car, but said they could order it. The employee took down my information and said the manager would order the FOB.I received a call about a week later to verify my information, and they said they would order the FOB and call me when it came in.It's over a month later and I haven't heard, so I went into the store to check. They couldn't even find a record of my order!Unreliable!UPDATE:I'm bumping this review up to 5 stars because of the rapid and completely satisfactory resolution of this issue by Ace Hardware.Within a few hours of writing this review, I received a call from the store manager saying he found my paperwork, the FOB, and to come in to have the key cut and FOB programmed. I now have a working key and FOB!All businesses have things that occasionally go wrong. A sign of a great customer-focused business is how they resolve issues when things go wrong. Ace showed they are a great customer-focused business in the resolution of my problem!

Surprised to see so many good reviews. I will admit, the men in the paint department are helpful... but the employees can't even tell the difference between a reverse threaded and regular threaded screw. aren't very helpful. never know where anything is and can't give you any sort of educated advice or suggestion on anything hardware related. The manager has worked there 12 years, and she is actually pretty cool and seems like she knows what's going on. just wonder why for the 20 years I've lived in springs this ace has always been the worst hardware store in town.

The men who work here are rude. I asked for prices on the fans. Only 5 of them had prices. I got attitude from them and the younger blond le guy literally rolled his eyes at me. Then a really sweet woman who worked there came up and started giving me the prices and helping me. Put up prices. It's absolutely ridiculous for customers to have to ask and have an entire aisle unpriced.

My first time going in here was excellent. Right from when I walked in the door every employee I saw or that saw me said hi, welcomed me to the store and asked if I needed help. The first person I was walking by asked what I was looking for and then walked me over to that aisle. Then before I left I was tinkering around looking for neat stuff and 2 other employees that I passed offered their help, we had friendly conversation and laughed. The cashier lady was so nice too. I will definitely be back. What a great experience.

Come here alot to grab things on the fly for work, and most things are easy to grab real quick. Today I needed something very specific they didn't even have, spent 10min staring at wall in plumbing aslie. Then an employee named Darryl walked by and seen me looking confused, helped me piece together a couple parts to get one of my rigs back up and running. Awesome customer service all around, saved my company from losing few thousand in revenue till part showed up in mail. Thanks for your Help Darryl!!!

I live on the east side of Colorado Springs and I will drive to the west side to the Ace Hardware on Uintah from now on. They are the most consumer friendly store I have ever worked with. I had a problem with a gift from an Ace Hardware out of state. They completely welcomed me without delay or lengthy explanations. They said no problem at all just bring it in and we will make it right for you! They most certainly did that and more. Uintah is my go to Ace hardware store. They are CONSUMER friendly!

We all know that matching paint can be a huge hassle but Jason with the long beard helped me match several paint samples and was patient and pleasant to work with. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hardware store! Highly recommend this place.

Every time I come into this store 9 out of 10 times product in need of is out of stock! I live a few blocks from here so location is great but serves only as a waste of my time. I just needed a plain Ole wax ring for my toilet... off to lowes now.
