it's 13 to 15 miles outside of Steamboat, but some may Like that! Be careful on the road if it's snowcovered and, in ski season, be prepated to be snowed in!We had such a great time!

Such a fun and relaxing place! We had 40+ people rent several cabins and it was the perfect spot for a reunion. Glen Eden is in a rustic, gorgeous area about 20 miles outside of Steamboat and the staff was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend for a get-away right on the river and to enjoy beautiful Colorado.

What a fabulous vacation (2 days, 3 nights) in the Chickadee cabin. Great location, beautiful view out the back door and master bedroom window. You'll hear the river sounds if the windows or door is open. Nice back porch with comfy, bright yellow Adirondack chairs, tables, etc. All units have charcoal grills. Chickadee was clean, bright, and uncluttered. Kitchen had all we needed to cook/prepare all our meals while there. Bathrooms were clean and had higher end towels - nice touch! River is lovely and there are steps down to it with a path to their lower glen - you'll see that's where weddings are held. Appreciated having a very comfortable king bed with lots of extra blankets and pillows available. There's lots of hiking trails nearby and three beautiful lakes a short distance north and hot springs in Steamboat Springs. Nearby Clark Store was fun. Was one of the nicest, relaxing vacations we've had - and we travel a lot!

This was such an amazing venue for our wedding! We rented out all of the cabins and enjoyed an amazing weekend surrounded by family and friends. The weather was perfect and the wedding and reception venues were simply stunning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to gather family and friends for an event, but does not want to stay in a hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and we are so happy we chose to get married here.

This was our first time at Glen Eden but we've stayed in the area many times. Toni, the guest services manager, was very helpful, knowledgeable and communicative. We had a unique situation that made us unable to come earlier in the year as we had planned. Toni went above and beyond to help us. After hours check in was a breeze. As it had snowed about 18 inches, we were curious how they handle snow removal. The skidsteer with the giant snowblower attached was the coolest! Due to the snow, there were some WiFi outages and a few very quick power losses which was to be expected. We came for the snow and scenery (not for the resort wide WiFi) and were not disappointed. The hot tub was hot but no jets (hopefully fixed now)- it would fit 6 people comfortably. In the area, we love The Clark Store, Steamboat Lake State Park and now Rocky Mountain Sled Rentals.The rest of the review is specific to the Grizzly cabin. It's a lovely, cozy unit with remodeled bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen. It was very clean and well maintained. There were 2 crock pots, a rice cooker and everything you'd need to cook a great meal. We were happy to find many spices and coffee in this unit. Bring your own foil, flour, oil and resealable bags. The beds were all comfortable with soft, warm blankets. The sheets were a bit scratchy and the bunk bed was really squeaky which are the only reasons I knocked one star off. If you plan on sleeping on the fold out couch, bring a very thick topper, air mattress or rent a 2nd unit. There were plenty of games, books and DVDs. The decor was tasteful with a rustic, cabin theme but not cluttered. We loved that the cabin backed to the river. It's everything we were expecting. We will definitely be back!

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years to go ice fishing at Steamboat Lake State Park and we love it. The cabins are nothing extravagant, but they have all the necessities and are always nice and clean.

Great cozy cabin. Super clean and well equipped. Only a couple of things were a con in our opinion. We couldn't have a fire in the fireplace....no fire logs provided and you can no longer use wood due to liability issues. We visited the first weekend of October, although the days were warm the evenings were cool and a fire would have been perfect! Also, there is VERY limited WiFi, none in the cabin and phone service was limited. I know the point of staying in the cabin is to disconnect but working WiFi in the cabin would have been very appreciated. Beautiful property and surrounding area. So many great outdoor activities from picnics to the most extreme activities.....there is something for everyone.

Surprisingly nice place to stay! Modern finishes in rustic cabins. We enjoyed the property, pool and beautiful surroundings. Great for groups, families and get-togethers. Would definitely go back again. The drive from Steamboat is gorgeous, and it does not take that long, maybe 20 minutes.

My dad and I ate in the restaurant this time. Good and service was good. A few years ago we stayed in one of the cabins that was like a home away from home. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and living room. It had everything you needed to cook with, along with plates and silverware.

Our trip to Steamboat Springs had unfortunately to be canceled on a very short notice (we had to cancel on the same day we were supposed to arrive) due to a major snow storm. Toni and the Glen Eden Resort team were however very accommodating and extremely customer oriented! We very much appreciate your understanding and will certainly bring our business back to you some time in the near future.

Love this place. It has been reinvented by a talented chef and has an attentive and laid back staff. It is also located in a gorgeous spot outside of Steamboat's tourist hustle and bustle. Great place to have dinner and take one of their incredible pizzas to go.

Great resort atmosphere with friendly people, great restaurant, lots to do. Close to skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sleigh rides and ice fishing. And that's just in the winter. The cabins are comfortable and well appointed. In the summer you can enjoy a swimming pool, hot tub, tennis, horse shoes, a playground, horseback riding, and fishing on the Elk River. Don't miss Glen Eden Resort.

It's an amazing place to have relaxation weekend. The homes are owned though , so even though we had reserved it a month ahead they rebooked us to a different cabin with a small fee. The desk was hard to get in touch with at arrival cause they may be working on Fridays, but sometimes still out of office.

A hidden gem for the money.You go here to relax and enjoy the beautiful Elk River Valley. Hike and enjoy nature. Good pool, hot tubs, and tennis courts. Playground for the kids. Great trout fishing nearby.In the winter, snowmobiles, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing.

What's not to love! Stayed in the Rainbow cabin and really enjoyed it! Same resort Randy Fenoli's niece got married at last June '19. There is an episode of Say Yes to the Dress that shows the resort and wedding! Great time making family memories! CHECK IT OUT!! ⛷🏂☃️🛷

This place is built for family fun. Swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts and more. Great places to explore and find wild raspberries, and a lot of fishing holes all along the water.
