I always wanted a Pomeranian my whole life. I actually got two from Perfect Pets. They have the best personalities and I can’t imagine life without them. Due to back injuries I can only handle small breeds which seems impossible at shelters to adopt. This store owner really cares about the animals and stands by the warranty. He will not sell if not in best interest of animal and if something is wrong he will make it right. Just like with children things can happen. One of my babies required surgery, the owner covered the costs. Rescue animals can also have a lot of medical issues. My first dog before my back injuries was a rescue. Unfortunately she had lifelong expensive medical issues that ultimately took her too soon. Today both of my little Pomeranians are thriving, healthy and happy. This store was the best decision for me. Thank you for helping me complete my little family.

A Perfect Experience! I echo the positive feedback about the facility and professionalism, and I agree that Rose is absolutely fantastic. This is such a caring group of people, and they take wonderful care of both tha animals and the people. They patiently answered every question, offed lots of helpful guidance, and made it clear that they are here for me and Bijou every step of the way. I especially appreciate the fact that they only deal with a select group of breeders and provide all the background and pap rs for each dog. This is the place to find your next fur baby!

We bought our beautiful Shiba Inu from perfect pets and she is wonderful 💜 we had been going in searching for a puppy for about a year, and always had gone to perfect pets, the owner and rose (co owner) are so AMAZING! They’re super knowledgeable and they care so much about what they do and the puppies, even after we took Nala home to her forever home. During our process of buying our Shiba Inu Nala, we felt comfortable, we had all of our concerns and questions answered, also we felt like we had become part of a family and community of support we will be back to get Nala a sibling soon! 😊she was about 4 month when we brought her home. After several failed attempts at finding my dream puppy on Craigslist I decided to go to perfect pets. Rose was super helpful and friendly and keeps in touch. Dante is very smart. As far as reviews about selling sick animals Dante had a slight cold and she wouldn't let me take him that day, so they are cautious and knowledgeable. I followed up with the vet they referred and they paid for everything.

These puppies are sooo adorable; however, they looked like they could all use a bath! Poor lil puppies were all stuck in those bins for who knows how long. I love that they offer the pet shop experience but I felt a little sad and wished I had the money to buy them all! The staff was super friendly and was working diligently at cleaning the pins but the puppies could use a little TLC.

I got my puppy Barney here back in August 2022. He turns one year tomorrow. I had a wonderful experience with Rose and her Dad Jens. Barney has grown into such a beautiful and loving healthy boy! After saying "See you on the other side. to 3 granddoggies and a 20 year old kitty. I wanted one just for me going forward. I was so lucky that Rose matched me up with my new furry baby. These are lovely people and the cutest little buggers around. I am so happy that I met Rose!

We got our perfect malted pēk-a-poo in March 2021. Thor has been a precious addition to our family and our entire experience with the shop owner, Jens Larsen, and other staff was impeccable. Everyone was so kind, conscientious, and caring toward the puppies and to us, the customers. We’re looking forward to returning to find a companion for our little sweetheart. ❤️ I recommend this shop.

We had an awesome experience here purchasing our sweetest new family member. We were skeptical of the pet store stigma but after “rescuing” 2 dogs that were very aggressive, we are so happy we came here! Rose is awesome and called/texted me updates on dogs available. Our dog is a happy and healthy mini golden doodle. We love him so much!!

This is a family owned pet store. They treated us like family. Jens is one of the most honorable business owners I have ever met. We found our furbaby there. Crimson was waiting for us. He was the first puppy that kept winking at me and shaked my hand. He was the one. We are very blessed to have found out about Prefect Pets through friends and neighbors. We will definitely be referring friends and family to them. I hope everyone finds their furbaby at Prefect Pets. They stand by their mission statement. this is a horrible place. They exploit animals they get their animals from puppy mills the man that owns this place and I use that Term lightly is a POS all he cares about is the money he does not care about the animals. Please do not buy animals from pet stores please you can get any type of dog. Any breed from specific breed rescues like the boxer rescue has the hobo rescue that’s what the boxer rescues called in Colorado, you look up a specific breed that you want there’s always a rescue. Please stop funding this man to continue to do this supply and demand. If you keep buying he’s going to keep getting his dogs from breeders breeders don’t care because they paid these animals lives are worth nothing. Please do not buy a dog adopt, please

First time here and came in looking for toys. The whole place is covered in very thick dust. The toys are covered in it too. Also, this place is disturbing with the puppies and dogs for sale. Very sad conditions. Please don’t support this place.

Breeder store bought pups. There are so many dogs needing adoption with shelters that are overflowing. These pups are cute but they are sick, overpriced and each time one is purchased, it reinforces and supports the breeders to continue breeding. This facility also requires you to use their vet. There’s something to be said about that.

I am not familiar with the area and needed to buy some pee pads and this was the closest place to me.I walked in and saw TONS of dogs. And at first I thought "Oh cool! It's a rescue place to adopt animals!"And then I started looking around and there's like 5 to 6 puppies in each plastic container (some have lids with holes at the top so the animals can breathe I guess???) And they have a small food bowl for all of these animals and HAMSTER WATER BOTTLES. FOR DOGS.I left this store in tears because of how disgusted I was and how obvious this place was a puppy mill.Please don't support this business. These animals deserve better than what they are recieving.If I could give 0 stars I would.I don't even understand how running this pet shop the way it is, is legal.

The only reason we go is to visit these poor puppies and love them. The owner seems to be angry daily and the workers are just trying their best.It’s so sad watching these poor babies play in their own sh!tPraying that the puppies who never get adopted with their insane prices do find a forever home. And it was very weird to see toys and beds not just dusty but a complete layer of dust on them.. why even display them? They neglect so much that you can not only smell it the second you walk in but see it…

I just recently moved to Denver from NJ and I was feeling homesick as I left my dear puppy dog with my family due to my new job. Feeling down my friend recommended we go here to play with the puppies. Instantly I felt better!! The puppies are friendly and the staff is great.

Just found out through our Vet that this place is a puppy mill no wonder why our first dog is having so many health issues he was on medicine for 6 weeks after getting him and the other is having aggressive behaviors because she was probably mistreated before we got her place was shady to begin with their entire food toy animal accessory area was covered in a thick layer of dust our Vet even said the food they sell was toxic and not recommended to give to any animal we spent a lot on care for our corgis and will never go back to Perfect Pets again

Perfect? That's a big NO! The owner of this puppy mill supplied pet store has no compassion for the parents of the puppies he profits from. If he had a moral compass he'd change his business model and hold adoption events for rescues/shelters and only sell pet supplies. There are so many dogs in Denver shelters that need homes but he continues to source puppies from out-of-state large scale commercial breeders!

This was our first time buying a puppy from a pet a store, and we are so happy we did. Our little Shiva the Husky (instapup) is such a sweet dog and now a year old she is in perfect health. We have had friendly pups before but Shiva is truly a people person. We would definitely recommend this place. The staff was super nice and answered all of our questions.

Overpriced. Unethical. Profiteering.BEWARE. The dogs here are from puppy mills.We adopted our Golden Retriever from Perfect Pets in 2019. DON’T adopt yours! Sure, they’ll provide you with a lineage and charge a premium price tag, but it’s all a sham. Our dog is great and makes us very happy, but he has LOTS of health problems and grew 40lbs larger than the lineage they claimed (to 105lbs!). For reference, the average golden is 65-75lbs.Adopt from here and accept the moral burden that you’re supporting the poor breeding practices of puppy mills and the long-term health issues you’ll end up paying for.

I found the puuuuurrrrfect kitten here!! The service was wonderful; the workers that were not busy helping customers, were constantly caring for all the animals. The first time I picked her up and played with her, she purred immediately! She is still the sweetest girl, not to mention beautiful. Her temperament is amazing for a cat, she has perfect health and I am the happiest fur mama around. Thanks to Perfect Pets I found the best baby/companion to add to my family!

Do not give your money to a puppy shop! Aren’t we already aware of puppy mills and the abhorrent way they treat dogs/cats?You absolutely can NOT find ethically bred pets at a pet store! There are not breeding standards, and anywhere selling multiple breeds (or intentionally mixed breeds) does not have the time or care that it takes to breed puppies who are bettering breed standard and justifying bringing more dogs into an already overpopulated situation. OFA testing, PennHIP testing, etc., none of that (which would guarantee the health of a puppy you’re spending obscene amounts of money on) aren’t going to be in the vocabulary of anyone along the process of creating these pets!!These puppies come from brokers who will pick dogs from puppy mills and breeding parents overbred, under-tested, and neglected. Then they are brought here without a thought of what they are actually genetically or temperamentally like.The bar is so low for breeding, if you are going to BUY a dog, do proper research on what real ethics looks like. Loving a dog and giving it a good home is the foundation of good PET ownership, not breeding. Breeding requires testing of health and temperament by veterinarians and behaviorists. It’s expensive and time consuming and Perfect Pets is not going to provide this to its customers.

We purchased Oreo, a Pikingnese to pair with our other one Maggie.Before you talk about adopting and puppy mills, understand WHY people buy puppies! Our vet bill from the past two adopted dogs we brought home are still being paid for. These adoption center only knows so much about the dogs they get. Once you bring them home, it's a roll of the dice.Maggie was beat up twice and required stitches by two different dogs. We had adopted these dogs on two separate occasions, from two different adoption centers. The first one lasted a couple of days before we sent him back. The second one was only a day. This is why we decided to get a Pikingnese puppy.It's been one week and Oreo and Maggie have gotten closer to each other with just minor barking at one another and drooling from Maggie the first few days. We take both dogs on walks and Oreo does great keeping up with Maggie.The staff was great when we purchased Oreo. The two girls helped us out a lot and answered all our questions and concerns about what breeder he came from and what they are registered under. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're not sure about adopting. It's more expensive than adopting, but it's worth every penny to see our little Maggie happy with Oreo.

I bought a darling puppy from here, for that I have no regrets because he has the sweetest temperament. However, there are too many dogs in this store, crowded into pens. My pup had gerardia, possibly worms (yet to be confirmed until the gerardia clears up) & ear mites. There is no way a Vet can make these determinations in the 5 day window allowed, to have the puppy examined by their preferred veterinarians. I would never again, purchase a pet who lived in these conditions prior to Rescue. I call it a rescue, because in my humble opinion, that is exactly what I did. I can tell you, he acts as though he agrees. Dogs deserve better.

I love my puppy! She's 14 months now; very healthy and happy. Her papers showed she's from a modest breeder in Nebraska, NOT FROM A PUPPY MILL. They gave me the owners cell phone upon purchase,, they are serious about selling healthy happy puppies. I 100% support this business - buy a pup there!

If you are looking for a legit place to get a dog then this is the place. We purchased our last dog here and they were helpful, very nice and did all the right things. We always tried to adopt but we wanted a certain kind of dog but could not find the right fit. The vet reminded us that these dogs need homes too.

We got our little Gemma here (silky terrier x Yorkshire Terrier). Sweetest and cutest pup! Rose and Jens (owners) made sure she was a perfect fit for our family! Their crew is very knowledgeable and store is clean! They were very ontop of picking poo and feeding. Very nice to see many puppies well taken care of!

The owner sells sick dogs. Then you have to pay out of pocket to get them better. And, he doesn’t apologize about it. He had no class and no manners. Update 4/10/24 just spent another $335.
