Their policy is to not accept any books which involve any religion, nor any which have political views. That is censorship. Last time I looked we have freedom of speech and freedom of religion. I may not agree with other religions or political views, but I would never presume to pass judgment on one who has different beliefs. I will not shop there or donate any longer. It is not their place to censor.Thank you for your reply. Please note that i did not make any comment about your refusing to accept MY preferred religious and political materials. You have no idea what they are.Also, kindly remove my name from your response.I was told you were not a privately-owned business. Since you are not government-funded my criticism is misplaced. Neat store .the profits go to help fund an animal shelter .the staff is friendly and help full . Will go back next week to see their winter selection of clothes.

It’s a cool little shop. However, I was browsing close to closing time (with still a few minutes to spare) one of the staff members said we are closing, and literally turned the the lights off in the room where I was looking, trying to rush me out. It was very dark, I could barely see to find my way out of the room.This was quite the odd and rude experience. Definitely a new one for me, and I’m a big time shopper.
