What can I say, a dollar store is a dollar store. I'm giving this particular location five stars though because the gal who was working behind the counter last night went above and beyond to help me find the strange thing I was looking for. She actually came out from behind the register and walk the aisles with me looking for what I needed. As we walked, she made small talk and really made me feel at home. Good job!

We love dollar general. It certainly is one of the cheapest places around for a lot of stuff including makeup and some groceries. Definitely recommend them to everyone. I also love the people who work there they are always kind and professional.

Dollar General is the only general store in the small community of Cederedge without having to drive 14 miles into Delta, Colorado. During the Covid 19, the store has attempted to put markings on the floor and signs ask people to socially distance and wear masks. It is an essential store with food and supplies. That only works if the staff and customers follow. Yesterday, I watched most of the customers walk in without masks with no social distancing. This included a woman who was obviously a healthcare worker in her scrubs (probably the local nursing home). At checkout, there was no distancing. One guy immediately stood next to me. When I told him there was social distancing, he grinned and said "honey I am not diseased, this is all a hoax. It is made up by the media. no one has died." Delta County has had one death and 39 positive cases. If a new outbreak occurs on the West Slope, it could well start in this store. Sorry, but a long time customer - me - has decided my life is not worth watching customers ignore precautions to prevent a deadly, incurable and highly contagious virus think it is a hoax and laugh at me. As for the store clerk, these people called her by name, and I watched not once did she tell them they needed masks or keep social distancing.

I am very disappointed and astonished that the "public" bathroom in your store has been "out of order" for two weeks. There is no sign to indicate this on either the men's or women's bathroom and I had to stand in line for over 5 minutes to ask for a key, before I was advised that it was not in service. I will be taking my business elsewhere, as I did today, until I find that this issue has been resolved.

Lots of good items. I bought a picture frame and it fell in half while I was trying to put the photo in it. So that's too bad. Staff was friendly.
