I love living in small towns. It's 9 miles to Woolsey's and those gentlemen there are very nice and caring people. I forgot my money and he put my receipt on a board and said pay it next time your in town. Their meats are EXCELLENT, and fresh. Their employees are very good and kind. Without them it's 30 minutes each way from my house to a store. Thank you, Woolsey, for kindness and caring to our community

Customer service is friendly and always uplifting! Their hunts brother pizza it the best pizza ever and looks like a piece or art!! The toppings are dispersed so evenly, it would make you cry! Papa John’s has nothing on this pizza!

Great little grocery store that's got a nice little fresh meat selection, too. The staff are very helpful and very respectful. They even have a nice little selection of Indian food. EVERYBODY HAS TO TRY IT ATLEAST ONCE! My kids and I have enjoyed trying it and go back for more and more every trip. We live in the Falcon/Peyton area and would rather shop at this little family owned grocer than at the big box stores that are closer to our home.

The owner is very wise to make the most of his opportunities. Soft serve, fried chicken (AND gizzards), as well as pizza (with at least twice as many toppings as any where else) are all available in this neighborhood grocery. Although not the cheapest place to find sustenance, it is definitely closer than Falcon with a decent selection of products that are high quality choices. And a very conscientious owner :)

Nice little market and the champs chicken is definitely delicious. The gizzards are great. Very clean that's always a huge plus for me. The meat section is mouth watering, mothers day the steaks didn't disappoint went day of to pick up just before dinner she's never ate that much in one meal of just meat.

So glad to have this market near by. Prices are reasonable and the owners are really friendly. They stock more than you could imagine and often the non-grocery items are priced lower than the competitors.

Most of the stuff is a little pricey. And not a huge selection of items. There were quite a few Amish items though. I was truly impressed by this. And the convenient location sure beats driving to town for just a few items. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the owner. He said he could order anything that we wanted if it wasn't in stock. Definitely planning on making this our regular store!

Amazing staff, LOVE the butcher!On top of having a surprisingly diverse stock, the employees recognize you and ask how you're doing. They're always SUPER friendly, and ALWAYS wear masks (making them the only business we frequent in Calhan).They've got everything from your country store favorites (candies, nut brittle, old-timey snacks, etc), to amazingly diverse international meals/snacks/desserts. The prices are reasonable, definitely worth saving yourself a trip into the city!

I love this tiny store. Has the best fresh meats with a butcher on sight. Also has Hunts Brothers Pizza and Champs Chicken for you fast hot meals. Sporting a salad bar and soft serve ice cream both vanilla and chocolate there is nothing this little place doesn't have!

Great, clean stop on our way through from Colorado Springs to KC.Plenty of great food for a quick lunch and to restock on snacks.I’m a celiac and was able to get a delicious salad from their salad bar without any reaction. They keep things very clean and organized.And everyone we talked to in there was super nice and helpful.

Nice man runs the store. Very friendly. They have fresh soft serve ice cream that is really good. Always cools you off after a long drive to Calhan to visit family. If my auntie wants something and he doesn't have it he will order it, so it is stocked in the store for her.

They don't have everything, but they have more than enough of a selection to complete most any meal. They also have a wonderful butcher counter with a wide selection of fresh cut meat products. The owner, who's always there, is friendly and remembers your name! Definitely my favorite place to shop!

Great Little StoreFor being a town of about 900 people this place sure does provide reasonable prices that keep us folks who live in the country from driving into Falcon or Colorado Springs or Limon for that matter. Pretty good selection, plus they have soft serve ice cream, a butcher's counter, as well as Champs Chicken. The guys that own it are from India and super friendly and always willing to help.

If you need it, Woolsey's has it. Seriously! Owner is the cashier. Real small town atmosphere. Don't have to walk miles to shop. Great meat department with a professional butcher. Can get custom bulk meat boxes for your freezer.

It is a family operated business. They are mindful of what a customer is looking for. They carry organic foods and beauty products. These items you would have to drive 20 mi. to get. Very friendly atmosphere they carry pizza and other fast food items as well.

For a small Hometown Market this place definitely rocks the owners of the store are great guys and the employees just as good we love them all and they definitely have a good variety of things for such a small store I would recommend if you're in the area stop in and get a nice big cup of soft serve treat yourself today.

Great little store in small town USA. For a little store they have a meat market, deli, hunt brothers pizza, and last time I talked to the owner he was doing some remodeling to bring in a chicken program. They have daily and weekly specials. You will have to go in to find out what the deals are.

Stopped by Woolsey's during our weekend trip in Black Forest to visit the Paint Mines. Had to grab a couple things to cook dinner at our Air BnB. The gentleman working the cashier counter Sat evening 11.6 was so kind and friendly and made us feel so welcome. We will also come back to Woolsey's when we are in the area!
