this place was awesome! me and my friend went while visting CO and wow!! the animals were the sweetest & so beautiful. The farm dogs were also so so sweet. Our tour guide was so great! he explained everything to us & answered all of our questions. awesome price too! definitely is a great place to bring the family & kids or even just yourself!!

We went to Our Red Barn Ranch today, it was such a great time! The owner was so nice and friendly! They have a cute store with products made from alpaca fiber! I feel we also learned a lot about the animals there today. The atmosphere was calming and inviting! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of alpacas, llamas, goats, etc.

This review is long overdue, but I have to say, Chris was absolutely fantastic! He displayed an impressive depth of knowledge and was incredibly patient with us. Each alpaca had its own unique charm, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. Additionally, Chris has other animals on-site, adding an extra layer of fun to the visit.

This place is an absolute gem. It’s a family ran alpaca farm, and you can feel the love and warmth in every corner! When we arrived we were greet by the owner on his ATV, and he had us park near the barn and old school bus that’s a hen house. We started off by exploring the barn and we met Bertha, the turkey, and all of the alpaca, sheep and goats. The best part was my son (age 2 1/2) was able to see how the animals live and pet them. He was so fascinated and kept calling the owner “Old MacDonald”. We wrapped up the day by watching all the alpacas and horses run in the field and play with each other. They also have a small gift shop with high quality alpaca wool products. This ranch is down the street for the Paint Mines park and they actually give people ideas for things to do in the area on their website. We are planning another trip. If you have little kids, this is a must do!

Stayed overnight as Harvest Hosts guests. Beautiful farm with stunning views. Chris and Christiann were attentive hosts and passionate about their farm. They gave us a complete tour and introduced their many animals. Cute little store with a focus on alpaca made items.

An amazing experience at the Red Barn Ranch! Chris was very personable and gives you a detailed explanation of the animals on the Ranch. Great for a day trip, about 40 minutes from the Springs. Could not recommend this enough!

Wonderful time on our tour, Christiann shared some wonderful stories and answered all of our questions! Their farm was a wonderful place to visit and would visit again with anyone wanting to see the animals.

If your children like farm animals, I highly recommend you visit here. You can meet various animals such as ponies, horses, chickens, lambs, alpacas, llamas etc. The owner Chris guided us kindly, so we felt really comfortable. It was warm and fun like visiting grandfather's farm. Thank you Chris once again for giving us happy memories.

This place is so fun! We stopped through on our way to Colorado Springs as it was just down the street from the Paint Mines Interpretive Park. Chris and Christiann were great hosts. Showed us around and introduced us to all of the animals. Love, Love, Love the baby alpacas and of course the dogs. Chris talked to us about his work on his farm and his desire to grow Agritourism. He has a great vision and can't wait to see what he does with it!

Visited here with my son on a day off from school, and we both loved it! It was great to interact with the animals and learn about day to day life. Highly recommend the drive out from the Springs to visit!

Oh my goodness! Farmer Chris and Christiann are the best. We had a group of 16 teens and adults, and we all had the best time. We were first greeted by several of the Maremma (Italian Great Pyrenees) guardians of the farm. So friendly, yet always on call. Then Farmer Chris took us back into the barn with the alpacas, a llama, chickens, and a pet turkey. Next, we entered the Dorper sheep pen where there were a pair of 2 month old lambs. Out into the main pen we saw the Angora goats and were surrounded by all our alpaca friends (and the llama) again. Further out we saw the Berkshire hogs and two ponies. At the end of the tour Christiann showed us how to separate and spin yarn from the fiber and taught us several felting techniques as well. Awesome gift shop. We were there for about 1.5 hours, learned a ton, saw everything, and was able to pet and take pictures of most everything. I cannot say enough about how much we all enjoyed this tour!
