I went to check out the Safeway in Burlington, CO, today. I struggle with short-term memory loss, so I was taking pictures of various products, including prices. After a while, a man, who I assume was a manager or some sort of supervisor, approached me and asked me what I was doing. I very briefly explained about my issue with memory, and he kindly let me continue to take pictures.The store was clean, and the employees were helpful and kind.I live between Goodland and Burlington, but it's slightly more convenient to go to Goodland than Burlington. I'm really struggling to find things at Walmart due to the remodel, though. I'm looking forward to their remodel being done so I can find things with the Walmart App again.However, given my experience at Safeway today, I'll be making more of an effort to head West to Safeway instead of East to Walmart.

Why is the produce already wilted and molded when it's put on the shelf??? I'm tired of spending money for produce that's expensive and expired when purchased !! Do better safeway and I always use self check out because your always over charged at registrar.

This place is a complete disaster. Rude employees, incompetence and ALWAYS WRONG PRICING in favor of Safeway. EVERY TIME I have shopped here it is the same. Their digital coupons and the Safeway member pricing from the Safeway card have NEVER worked properly here. The pathetically dysfunctional employees always have worthless inadequate excuses, that they make up on the spot, as in local customers are too stupid to know any better. If YOU are a customer and are buying many things. BET MONEY YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF MANY TIMES BY THIS STORE! Check your receipts. If you only get a few items and pay attention, it is obvious how bad this place is. It is the only place in the area to shop for groceries and that is a shame, because this Safeway is a major dysfunction. Maybe this a convenient place for local shoppers, but this place needs a complete overhaul. This place is a major reason to make your long distance trips to King Soopers, Walmart or ANYWHERE ELSE for anything other than a few items about which you can check for incorrect pricing. This place is terrible! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

I have been to this Safeway about 8 times since their grand opening. On EACH visit, I found errors on my receipt - errors always in favor of the store. When I mentioned this at work during lunch last week, all 4 of those present in addition to myself said they have had the same experience. When I shopped last week, I told the checkout clerk that I had concerns and would be checking on each purchase (causing a longer checkout time). I got the prices I expected on the items I purchased, but when I got home and checked again, she charged me for purchased bags! I brought my own, and by the way, had to bag it all, though there were employees watching customers at the self-checkout, ironically there, I suppose, to make sure the store isn't cheated. An employee of the store says that if someone shoplifts there, employees are fired if they attempt to prevent that. So....they are willing to let hundreds of dollars of groceries go out the door, but they will not properly update their computer/checkout system and provide sackers for their paying customers.

2 stars for cleanliness and quick moving lines the 3 empty stars are for the rude old lady at the deli during the day not once but twice during both visits I could just feel the miserable vibes she was letting off safe to say I'll just stick to the pre sliced section from now on...

Since the location change this store has went down hill the workers are rude and not helpful at all. Produce is not fresh quality control is really lacking. Dose not feel like a small town store anymore. Maybe change in management would help. Would like to talk with management to voice some concerns (not Trish)

Check your recipe Every time,whether it is a large order or small. Better to drive somewhere else.

I ordered cupcakes for my daughters birthday and they were very sloppy and looked hurried when they made them. Icing was hurried wasn’t even the correct icing, half the cupcakes didn’t have sprinkles my daughters cupcake was sloppy. Very disappointing never using them again!!

Our new Safeway is kept super clean and well stocked. A lot more selection than the previous location. Always several great buys. The app really dials them in. Very good staff always ready to help. A good sign of a growing community. Keep up the great work!

Need to train the people bagging groceries. My very hot roasted chicken was put in same bag with frozen and cold items. My baked good were put in bag with a pack of raw chicken and my fruit was put in bag with another package of raw meat. Huge no-nos, you don't mix items with raw meat! You don't mix cleaning items with food items either!

Very nice employees. I’m so glad to have the new Safeway in town. Such an improvement over the previous building. I wish they wouldn’t have stopped selling beer. Now I have to visit a separate store when I come into town for supplies, which were things I used to get at Safeway.

This store is amazing! Everything you could need or want for meals, get-togethers and everyday life can be found on their shelves, in the right place and labeled at the correct price. They offer choices of quality brands and local suppliers so you are not stuck settling. They even provide a selection of items you haven't considered which will exceed your expectations. To top it all off it's clean, well organized, and the employees are friendly.

Staff was unhelpful and some were downright rude. Manager is just nonchalant. After speaking with him I can understand why the staff is like they are. Discovered when we got home we had food that was expired and the bread we bought was stale. No bakery or deli. Unorganized and stuff everywhere like a flea market. If there were other options in the area this place would not last long. I dread going back. Glad we are only here another 2 weeks.

I just had the most incredible Customer Service experience at this Safeway, I was looking for a particularly hard to find item and I was told to check this store. Not only did they help me find it but they helped me to better understand the product to help me make the best choice I could. All of the employees were great but a special shout out has to go to Nickie for taking and sending me pictures of the item and for helping me coordinate the purchase. Sometimes it's the simple things in life that bring you the most pleasure and I have to say that the employees at this Safeway really helped to make my day today. Thanks to everyone for their help. I will be sure to continue to be a loyal Safeway customers for the years to come.

I wish I could leave a good review, as our community needs this grocery store, but I find myself extremely frustrated every time I shop here. I have small children and most of the shopping carts do not have working seatbelts to keep them in. The isles are so narrow that it is nearly impossible to push the cart with an infant seat in it and pass by other shoppers. Even without an infant seat, two people can barely fit in an isle. The parking lot is also terrible. The employees are always helpful and kind, but we NEED a new location that is bigger and more accommodating. PLEASE!!
