Two nice fenced areas in this dog park, one for smaller and one for larger dogs. Safe entry area, too. A couple of play/mobility items provided.It's dirt and desert scruff in terms of the surface. Unfortunately our spoiled-to-midwest-green-grass fur baby wasn't impressed with the scruff, so we didn't stay long. But that's her issue, not the park!I wish for a little more seating in terms of humans who are observing their canines.

My dogs liked this park. It had an incline up to a higher level, which my dogs liked to go explore. There is not really any grass, but my dogs didn't care. There were many friendly dogs that visited during our 4 day stay in Buena Vista. There is no water, but bowls are provided, so bring a gallon with you. It had some trees and benches and is located next to a trailhead.

There are two parks adjacent to each other. One is very large. The large one has painted rocks with dogs names on it, some shade, a large water bowl and some pup obstacles to play on.The smaller one, I believe is for small canines. But, I didn't pay much attention to that one. The views are amazing.

This isn't a justifiable picture for the dog park but this is the view you see when you're at the park. I didn't seem to see a lot of people bringing their dogs into the park. It looked to me as though people just walk their dog long the river and take him up on the hiking trails. But it was a decent looking Park

This place is beautiful. Hiking is moderate and very doable. We were just visiting this area. So close to town but feels like your out in the country.

Two separate large fenced in areas w/ a couple of dog ramps and tunnels, rocky area with good views. They have poop shoveling tools and disposal areas, benches, note there are no human trash cans. Beautiful walk at the adjacent river park.

Our town dog park! Maintained well and nice people. There is a big and little park to choose from which is great if your dog isn't good with other dogs, the small park is usually empty. Next to River park for a hike too! Dog waterer available in season, which is wonderful for hot doggies.

Wonderful dog park divided into 2 areas by size, by the river, watch the rafts go by, shop the charming town streets!! We are definitely going back without the dogs to just see the sights and try the local fare!! But to our luck, there were no dogs at all in the park and we will were able to let them run around off leash in a safe enclosed area - fantastic! They slept all the way home!

Nice larger dog park with friendly dogs. All dirt and rock and nice places under the few trees for the dogs to roll in the dirt. Fresh water available for the pups. Good experience for my 2 dogs. Could use a small grassy area.

There are actually two separate enclosures here yeah, one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. There are a couple of fun little obstacles and agility training implements. Because of the mountain train, the ground is mostly loose dirt and scrub instead of the grass you would find in a city park.

A fun dogpark until your dog cuts his paws on old trash, because guess what? South Main and this dog park are built on top of the old town dump. My poor dog nearly sliced his carpal pad off and it was bleeding all over the place. I found one of those super old rusty cans you find back on Midland from who knows how long ago. It's definitely not like there is trash laying all over the place but sometimes you find really old stuff in that whole area, most of it metal.If you take your pup there, just be careful.

Nice spot - decently sized, and an interesting selection of dog agility equipment. People are pretty good about cleaning up, just be aware of some sections with goat head thorns.

Great place to take you're dog. It's a big area for you're dog to run and play. It has hiking trails and a river.

Good sized dog run with a hill and agility equipment. Some of the equipment needs repair. In areas farther from the gate owners are not picking up after their dogs.

It's a great park with a bunch of agility equipment, but there's never any dogs there when I take mine so unfortunately there's not a lot of puppy play time.

Nice playground for kids. A pump track got mountain bikers and 2 separate off Leash fenced areas for dogs, each with a few agility obstacles.

My dog is a cat, but my friends dog is a dog who loved it here. Clean and well kept grounds. Its a place that any dog, and their owner, would like visit, if in the area. If i ever get a dog.......yup.

They have a nice set up but it could be more made more environmentally friendly with grass and the water for the dogs in the shade so they're not drinking hot water.
