Very convenient access to Buena Vista riding our bicycles. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and kept the place spotless. The empty sites were raked every morning and the park just looked great. The no noise policy was so refreshing. It was great not having multiple campsites sharing their music. Laundry was very nice! Not the tired old broken down machines we see at many parks (I took parts off broken machines to get dryers running at a differing park and provided them a list of parts they needed and they were offended). Great experience all around!

The bathrooms are always clean and stocked. The showers are warm, and laundry is available on site. I love the puzzles in the clubhouse! More than all that, the people running the park are amazing, beautiful people. After trying other RV Parks in the Buena Vista area, this RV park is the one that makes me want to come back.Nearby activities: The river rafting, hiking and biking trails and roads are right outside the gate. There are tunnels carved out of the mountain that you can get to by foot, bike or car one mile away. If you want to soak in the hot springs or climb high mountains, both are only short drives away.Safety: There are RV residents who also work at the park and who patrol it. Since they live there, they want it to be safe too.Walkability: I walked to the tunnels, town and the river trails (and river boat launch) easily through the back gate. All were 1-2 miles away. They were great walks for me and my puppy.

We had a problem with our diesel truck and this RV park went above and beyond to help us during the repairs. They accomodated us on a busy Labor Day weekend. The park is exceptionally clean. The clubhouse and laundry facilities are super. The sites are large and they offer both pull in and back in. Thank you for giving us a place to stay while we waited on our truck.

Don't normally go to full service RV parks but it was the first (and unfortunately last) camping trip of the summer so decided why not? This was the second campground we checked out after deciding we just couldn't 'camp' in a parking lot with neighbors parked so close your door practically hit their camper when going in and out. Mt. Princeton RV Park had a good number of campers as well but much more space between them. Each spot had a patch of grass and a tree along with a picnic table. The owners/managers were exceptionally friendly and helpful.A couple of our grandchildren visited while we were there and we had the best time at the playground and exploring the park for the many rock animals throughout. What a beautiful area! We'll recommend and be back!

Great place to stay in the Buena Vista area. The owners take great pride in their park. It shows in how clean and welcoming the facilities are maintained. The sites are nice and big and can accommodate all sizes. The bathrooms and laundry are top notch. Their location in convenient to all the sights in the area. This was our first visit and we will be back for sure!

Great big spaces!! This is a great park. It was our first time there. They built this place right...plenty of space in each spot and wide roads for easy turning. The bath house is very clean. Shower stall are huge and beautiful tile. Showers cost a reasonable $1.25 for 7 1/2 minutes. There is a screened in covered patio with picnic tables. Close to town, hiking, river rafting. The clubhouse has a little library. You can borrow DVDS for $1. Friendly staff. Quiet location.

The owners here are great! In the summer they have many events and things to do for those that stay with them. There is a clubhouse along with laundry showers and restrooms available. They don't have just RV parking either they also have cabins and park models available which is great if you don't have an RV. Wonderful views of the mountains. And it's nice and quiet at night so you can see the stars

We stayed here two months and loved it (Aug and Sept). A well-maintained and well run park, friendly owners, staff, and neighbors. And yes, we had a dog and found the rules acceptable and not overly strict. A great place to base camp as lots of recreation and shopping activities w/in reasonable distance. We liked it so much we are staying an extra month next year.

Great park. Nice roomy sites. Friendly service. Super clean restrooms/showers. My one small issue was we were unable to adjust shower water temp. Highly recommend.

The facility is clean and well maintained. It is convenient to town. However, I take exception with Patti Huff’s comment. We arrived today and it was a long day. My husband was not feeling well. It is now 11 pm and the folks next door to us have been enjoying their evening outside around their fire pit. They show no signs of calling it a night or going inside. I am sure this is the exception. Most campers are considerate of those around them. I think you would enjoy staying here a night, a week or longer. Everyone really is nice here!

Beautiful Park. We arrived just before the office closed, and the owner checked us in and directed us to our spot. Warm and clean showers and restrooms. The park overall was very quiet at night time but we had the noisiest neighbors, talking loudly outside and slamming car doors. We would definitely recommend this to others and we would stay here again.

Well laid out park. Owners are great, worked with us on a break down situation. The park is all gravel, nice and clean. Good location. Only down side we experienced was the coin operated showers.Like others, we feel it should be mentioned somewhere. It wasn't mentioned on line, on the park map and rules you get on arrival or mentioned when you check in. It is aggravating to collect your shower items and get to the showers, only to find out you need quarters.Coin showers are to be expected in state and national parks, not in private parks. They have a gravel place for you to walk your dog but no fenced in area. That would be a plus also.Overall a good place.

I highly recommend this RV Park.We spent about three weeks there and we really enjoyed our time. The sites are clean and nice, with a little patch of grass for added value. The view from the park, when unblocked, is amazing. The shower/restrooms facilities are really nice and clean. Their access through the club-house, though is unorthodox. "Hello! I'm just going to the bathroom..."The owner Cindy is very friendly and will gladly answer questions regarding the area. I liked that. The area is very rich in outdoor activities and kept us fully entertained.Grocery places and city center are very accessible. The WiFi worked really well for us. Some web sites were blocked, but it was not a big deal. The speed is good.

We cannot say enough about our wonderful experience here! Jeff and Cindy made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, with incredible mountain views and easy access to town and the Arkansas river. The grounds are immaculate - we never saw so much as a gum wrapper on the ground during the time we were there - which was several months! The facilities are incredibly clean and welcoming, the other visitors are friendly, with planned activities during the summer months for guests. As newcomers to Colorado, we could not have received a more wonderful welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

We are full timers. Stayed here for 1 month. I depend on reviews so this is my honest opinion. Nice place, clean nice rest rooms, laundry. But if you take a shower be sure and bring lots of quarters. You have to pay to take a shower and it is not cheap. They do not take any deliveries . If you send to there address it will be returned . You can have anything mailed to United States Postal Services, your name, 110 Brookdale Ave, General Delivery, Buena Vista, Co 81211-9616. It's only couple of miles. Do not have it mailed to Mail Boxes across rlthe street. They charge 3.00 for each package and than a holding fee of 5.00They are not dog friendly, no dog park you have to walk your dog in the street no poop bags or poop dispensers. The owners are nice, but lots of rules. No TV or radio outside any time.My husband and I were outside at 10:00p. We had our propane fire pit going enjoying the stars and moon. The owner walked over and said we had to put the fire out and go inside. She said no fires or outside lights past 10:00 and that we had to go inside our RV. We are in our 60's not making any noise. But those are the rules.

Excellent campsite with wide spaces and terrific customer service. I was able to book over the phone about a week ahead of time and the staff was extremely helpful. The bathrooms, laundry and open spaces were very clean and up to date. If you're looking for a quiet stay with a great view - Book here with confidence.

We stayed at Mt. Princeton RV Park from 7/17/2020 thru 7/20/2020, on our 35' Class A motorhome. This park seems to be fairly new.Though some sites have some grass, the sites in the area we stayed were 100% gravel, as were all the facility roads. The sites are generous in size, each is separated by a split rail fence, and utility connections are in like-new condition. This is a very quiet facility, which could be considered a pro or a con.PROS: Fairly new facility, very well kept and clean (not only the sites, but also the laundry facility, pavilion, play ground, etc.). Excellent location! Buena Vista has so much to offer for outdoor enthusiasts, including tons of off-road areas, hiking, climbing 14ers, and various hot springs resorts.CONS: This is not a dog-friendly facility. When we were first checking in, we were directed to walk our dog off the premises. Of the one-page facility rules, literally half the page is dedicated to dog-related rules.

Nice enough park, was a little high in my opinion. They say 1 dog is allowed per rig, but they are not at all dog friendly. We had two and they gave us permission to bring them both since we were with a larger group. They have a small pet area but it is just gravel andI/2 inch rock. They do not want the dogs to relieve themselves on the little boulders around the dog area or the park. They asked us to walk our dogs out on the road or in the ditch. That is fine, and I understand that they want to keep their park as nice as possible. They really need to be a pet free park, and let folks with pets use a true dog friendly park. I would have given them 4 stars but the pet hassles made it 3.

This is one of our top three stays across America! Managed by the owners who work hard to make this park awesome! If you want to enjoy one of America’s best kept secret small towns this is the best park in that entire region of Colorado.

My grandparents stay here every summer and the lots are nice and spacious enough with a good view of Mt. Harvard and Mt. Princeton. There are also beautiful views of geologic formations towards the Eastern side of the park. The people that congregate at this RV park are so delightful and friendly :) Lots of activities to do like crafts, pot lucks, and game nights. I love coming here to visit!

All the rooms were booked in town but luckily this place had a cabin available. Look like one of those tiny houses. It had everything I could need on the inside. The owner was extremely accommodating for me. Excellent WiFi. Everyone staying there was friendly and polite.

Mt Princeton RV Park was a beautiful and comfortable home for us. We stayed here for three months for my boyfriend's job. The entire park is very clean, well maintained, and in a beautiful location. We were in space D16 with a 37-ft fifth wheel with slides on both sides. We had plenty of room for the fifth wheel plus two vehicles in our space. Each space also has a pad of grass and a tree. I was overjoyed that the laundry room was so clean and had 6 washers and 8 dryers, all fully functioning. The park also offers free Wi-fi; however, some spaces don't receive the best signal. Because we were going to be staying for a longer period of time we decided to get Charter internet (they also offer cable/satellite). It was very reasonably priced with a one-time set up fee, month to month service fee, and no cancellation fees.My favorite part was the access the miles of walking trails right out the back gate. We travel with dogs and easily accessible outdoor space becomes very important to us. The park did have several guidelines regarding dogs and pet clean up. Do not let this be a turn off. The park is very clean, and it doesn't stay that way from people not cleaning up after their pets.We are sad to leave the area and Mt Princeton RV Park. If we get relocated back to the area we will definitely be staying here again! The park also has adorable little cabins that I'd be interested in checking out next time we're here.NOTE: We began our stay in October; however, it sounded like they typically close the park for the winter. My boyfriend's company had enough guys staying in the park for them to stay open for us.

This is the cleanest rv park with the widest campspots EVER. We have plenty of room for the 35' fifthwheel plus my truck and my friend's van. Easy access to Buena Vista. This place is very affordable and I love not being packed in like sardines!

We are regular summer campers. Without a doubt, the best all round park we have ever enjoyed. Cindy and Jeff are the consummate hostess and host. Their facilities and planned events have something for everyone from games to donut and coffee one morning and even lessons on fly tying. This park has it all!

Management bent over backwards to accommodate our stay. Excellent, quite, friendly, RV park. Reasonably priced for the area. Full RV 50 amp hookups. We liked it so well, we stayed for three months.

Close to perfect. Looks brand new, and a man could eat off the floor in the clubhouse, including the laundry and showers. Great equipment, reasonably priced.A LOT of attention to detail went into this park, and it is clear that it was designed and is operated for RVers.. Excellent hook ups.Management is very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. They seem proud of their park, and they should be. They are also very clear about behaviour in and about the park, which makes for a more pleasant experience for everyone. They are pet friendly, but do limit number of dogs, and are are clear that you must be a responsible pet owner, if you bring pets here. This is a very quiet park, well back from the highway, and it backs up to some very wondrous and intriguing geology. Go for a pleasant walk; it's not extra!RV spaces are very well laid out and constructed. And, like everything else here, exceptionally well maintained. Plenty of room most places to maneuver, if you need to.Not sure about WIFI, but I'll still give this park 5 Stars, 6 if there is useable, included WIFI. I hope this is an example of RV parks of the future. I will absolutely make this my staging place (if they have room) every time I venture into this corner of Colorado. BTW: LOTS of interesting sightseeing locally, and great fishing nearby at Clear Creek and Reservoir. Ask Cindy. She'll steer you right to what to see and do.

The owners where great! Campsite was very clean and well kept. The sites had plenty of room. They made it easy to get in and out with the camper. Whatever the size of camper. Great location and away from highway noise.

Best RV park in the valley! Great hosts, clean showers/restrooms, fabulous views and as inexpensive as anyone in the area! Grounds are very well kept, no road, railroad or airport noise and great food is nearby! Pull-throughs are convenient and spaced just right from neighbors. Wi-fi puts the frosting on the cake! HIGHLY recommended by a Colorado native! Jim

Rv park was o.k. They advertise wifi but after 2 days, no mas. They said the router was ruined during a storm and that they were going to get a new device in a couple days but never did. We were there a month. Buena Vista is a dream come true small town with so many things to do and this park is about a half mile from there so that was a definite plus. They don't provide a dog park and you can't let them enjoy the sun tied up outside. They want your fellow buddies out of site out of mind. All in all its an o.k. place. Oh ya they charge for everything including showers.
