What a treasure for book-lovers in BV!We enjoyed finding several books to enjoy from their eclectic selection of new and used books. I especially appreciated that books in a series are lightly numbered with a removable tag on the spine. Prices are really reasonable, too.But it's not just books here! We started our holiday shopping with adorable note cards and cute finger puppets.Don't miss taking a meditative moment in the labyrinth in the backyard. And save time for a free cup of coffee and warm cookies as you browse and chat.

Coolest little bookstore/antique shop I've ever been to. It's a house, with 7 rooms all filled with books and trinkets.Found some literature on butchery and a Hunter Thompson novel I'd been wanting for years.Love this place.

What a hidden gem! So cute and cozy! The book selection was excellent but the vibes were even better. This bookshop is set up like a house, but book cases fill every conceivable spot. There are even books for sale in the kitchen- along with complimentary homemade chocolate chip cookies. Definitely worth stopping and checking out.

Such a fun place to spend time browsing their large and well-curated collection of books. Always something new to see and the old house itself is such a lovely place. Very helpful and sweet people too. Destination when traveling in that area!

A fun, quirky, delightful little store with lots of surprises. A great selection of used books.Literaure, classics, sci fi, religion and spirituality, philosophy, local nature and environment, plus a wall of western classics. (A good place to complete your Zane Grey collection.) Lots of great children's booksThe science fiction and fantasy are, appropriately, in three different worlds/dimensions (places in the store). Including in one of the tiny side rooms upstairs and vintage sci-fi in the barn. A great selection of well-known sci-fi and fantasy in the main room.There are vintage books in the barn with other antiques. There are also toys and games throughout the store, including a guitar and a Doug & Melissa harmonica. An owl and bear finger puppets will now be residing at our home.THEN there is the peace labyrinth in the backyard. And DO NOT miss the yummy cookies in the kitchen!A wonderful, fun little store. We'll be following their online selection as well as visiting again!

This store is not to be missed when stopping in Buena Vista. My friend walked in saying, I don't need any books, and ended up buying 3 books by Vladimir Megre that were a find for her. We made our way outside where there was a labyrinth for us to walk. I found a few things for gifts there, too. Mimi was gracious and helpful. If you're going to Cottonwood hot springs, shop at this local gem while in town.

What a wonderful place for book lovers. Used and new books of all kinds in a small house that extends to the upstairs and detached garage. The labyrinth in the back yard was a wonderful addition to the patio seating where you can preview your purchases and enjoy the solitude of this peaceful but growing small town.

Adorable book store inside a lovely old house. Books on every topic you can imagine for good prices, there's some craft supplies upstairs, and there's a beautiful little kitchen that usually has cookies and tea! Make sure to visit the peace maze in the backyard!

The owner is the most lovely woman on the face of the planet and is in love with her plants! My mother and I went looking for antiques and left with new adopted babies!! Ask her how to care for them! She knows everything!! Will return 100%!!!

A really nice bookstore with a good selection of used and new books. They also have knick knacks and some interesting gifts, along with old antique tools and items that hearken back to a time when life was slower. The building itself is neat and eclectic as well. Just be aware that the store credit system is a little wonky; if you have credit you can only use half of it on an item at a time and only on used books. For example, if you buy an old copy of Old Yeller or something that costs $10, you can only use $5 store credit to pay for it and the rest you have to pay with cash or a card. Nice little store, though, and the owners are friendly and helpful!

I can almost always find what I am looking for. If not, Kathy will get it for me - asap. I always find books I didn't know I wanted. The children's games and toys are top notch. The hand crafted items, art work, and antiques are an added bonus. Don't miss upstairs and the old garage that has morphed into a finished annex. Browse forever. Or just sit outside on the patio and enjoy the view.
