Since we are a family with Golden Retrievers, we are well versed in the world of grooming. We lost our go-to groomer many years ago, and have been bouncing around to new ones hoping to find that special place. We don’t have to look any further! As mentioned in other reviews, the initial phone call was crucial. I was able to get Finnegan scheduled relatively quickly. He explained that they do their service based on appointment time. Many other groomers ask for your pet to be dropped in the morning and they wait in crates as other dogs are groomed. Dirty dog took in Finn on his scheduled time and finished him 2 1/2 hours later. So quick for the amazing results! We are thankful, as our pet is not used to being crated- it traumatized him. The place is clean, warm and welcoming. I was greeted with smiles by all when I walked in. My groomer communicated with me and was well versed on clipping Goldens. The deep shed treatment has been remarkable and is still lasting a month later! We both agreed this is the best grooming he has received- EVER. Thank you Dirty Dog! Glad we already have our next visit scheduled!

This place has probably been the best groomer I've had for my Australian Shepard. Super professional, Nala seemed very happy when I picked her up, and she looks amazing! She is probably the softest I have ever had her now as well. I would say the only thing I would improve with the haircut would be blending in the layers just a little bit better, you can see some straight cuts that will obviously grow out in time so it wasn't too big of a deal. Great prices and great job! Thank you so much!

The Dirty Dog is wonderful. Heather takes such good care of our pup, and made sure after we rescued him that he was introduced to grooming correctly, so he would have a positive association with grooming for life.

We have been taking our dogs Georgia and Milo here for years. When we moved to the area from Denver we tried multiple groomers in the area. All the other places we tried didn’t do the best job. What I love about the Dirty Dog is they are loving towards our dogs, willing to take feedback, always give their 100%, are personable, and professional. When our other dog Bandit died they gave us a card and made an ornament for him (it was around the holidays). The staff at the Dirty Dog really care and do an excellent job. This is the only place in Broomfield I will take my dogs.

The woman at the front desk is beyond incompetent and has zero customer service skills. We had moved up our dogs grooming appointment and canceled the later one and they never canceled the appointment and charged us a late charge even though we called and canceled weeks prior. We also had a punch card for a free grooming but apparently they did something else to our dog that wasn't considered "the works" so they only gave us $25 off. There is no talking any logic into the front desk woman and she lost a customer who has been going there for years. This place is going downhill fast and only wants your money. Do not recommend!

Everyone is so nice, and each time I've been there, they have shown great care with my pups. They are supportive of one another and help each other out if a particular dog is anxious. Very friendly and caring staff.

From the initial phone call, I could tell the people working here are kind and care about what they do. I was able to get my doodle in within a couple of weeks and received multiple text reminders of my appointment. The team did such a thorough job with Colby's grooming, they did the cut exactly as I requested and at a fair price. I couldn't be more pleased - and I can tell Colby is much more comfortable after her haircut! When I picked her up, I could tell she was well cared for by her calm demeanor. She smells better than she ever has and her hair is as soft as velvet. Dirty Dog has no shortage of business and I can see why - they've made a repeat customer out of me & Colby!

We will never be back! They started our dogs groom by shaving his torso, no bath and called us to pick him up. They claimed my dog was aggressive and they couldn’t finish his grooming and went on to charge us $80! We have never had reports of our dog ever showing aggression. We had to take him next-door to Wag N Wash who graciously took him in to finish his grooming, including his sanitation area, his head, his legs and his paws-all of the difficult areas. They were able to finish him in about an hour with no problems whatsoever! I highly recommend Wagon N Wash. They said this was the second time they heard my story. It really makes me question the environment and the quality of groomers at Dirty Dog. Don’t Go!!

We’ve been taking our fluffy Golden Retriever to Dirty Dog for a few years now. They are the absolute best groomer we have ever visited, their work is incredible every time. The staff is so friendly and inviting, and our pup always leaves happy and handsome!!!

I am so incredibly happy with the service provided by the team/staff at The Dirty Dog. They treated both me and my pup with respect and had such a fun and positive attitude about caring for my pup. He looked great after his groom! They have a very secure environment for the dogs and it was super clean. They were professional and provided superb customer service. Kelly is the best groomer for my littleAussie girl! Zeta always looks perfect after I pick her up and the groom lasts so long! I’m sad Kelly doesn’t do weekends anymore but I never want to take Zeta to anyone else! So I will miss some work if I have to! 😁❤️ highly recommend them and especially Kelly!!

Love this place!!!! The staff is always happy and greets us with a smile. Our dog is always happy when we pick her up. Doesn’t matter who works on our dog, they always do a great job and treat our dog like she was theirs. Your pup will get pampered there. Have been to other groomers, but this place has been a perfect fit for us. Highly recommend this place for good doggie spa day!

They love what they do and it shows! Love how they cut my pups hair and he comes home super happy (unlike when he goes to petsmart or other grooming places). My pup never has any nicks or is cut uneven. 10/10 customer service as well. Highly recommend calling a couple weeks before your pup needs a haircut as they are very sought after!

They were very professional, I liked the text reminders, the place was clean and they were very considerate. I'm so thrilled to have found a groomer I trust and like. I've had my dog groomed here multiple times and they always do a wonderful job! I have a golden/ chow mix who sheds like crazy. I get him the full groom and he stops shedding for about 2 weeks! He is also very soft and smells nice :)

Edit: I emailed the owner 2 mins after they posted their reply and still haven't heard from them. Not a good business to go to!!Loved this place at first. Our first grooming for both of our dogs was great! So obviously returned, but this next one though.... Not so much. They "trimmed" one of my dogs and then shaved the other!! Neither of these I requested at the check in. Both dogs were to get a normal teddy bear cut. Same groomer, different days for both dogs. If we come back I would make sure to not request this lady. I feel like she was lazy, not in the best of mood at check in and while I was explaining what we wanted she rushed me through. One dog had 3 mats (one behind and ear, one under where her collar is and one right on her butt above the tail), they were not bad mats by any means and said if in those areas we needed to go shorter then we could, just in those 3 spots. Got my dog back and she was SHAVED!! :( Even her beautiful eyelashes and whiskers were gone!! This groomer didn't take the time on either dog. Shaved one was done in 45 mins, trimmed dog was done in 3 hrs??? How? When you trimmed him?? I think she had honestly forgot about him.

I have a newfoundland and therefore very complicated grooming needs. This is the ONLY groomer I will trust with my dog. It is an extremely clean, open facility. The staff is friendly and accommodating and they always do a fantastic job with a very difficult girl. We don't even live in Broomfield anymore but I will continue to make the drive to use this groomer.

Where should I start - I have been calling since last week to get on a schdeule for grooming. Today the lady called me and said that my voice message was garbled and she could not understand that. She truly did not seem to care and that was disheartening.I have been taking my puppies to these folks for almost one year just to be told that they have 2000 clients and cannot keep up with everyone individually. I too am a small business and have kept up with my 3000 plus clientelle. If I was to say this to my clients and tell them that I wish them luck finding new service provider - I think I would lose more than just credibility.On average I pay them about 250+ per month. And I am a good tipper.I have referred my friends here who did not have a good experience there puppies came home with several cuts. I have had my puppies come back home with close shaves as they do not pay attention to your request, one time they came home totally shaved and the stated reason given for shaving the dog was matting. This has never happened before. I brushed him out all the time. I feel they took an easy route that time and shaved my puppy. I tried to tell them that was not right and lady groomer was getting short with me - that should have been my sign and I shoudl have been gone then but I gave them another chance because dogs like consistency and they do not want to be shuffled. This shop does not seem to care if you are loyal. All they seem to care about who is in front of them rest of us are immaterial. I normally dont write reviews like this but I felt it was needed as our puppies cannot talk so we need to talk for them. Do not recommend this shop due to the disloyalty I felt. Dogs are Loyal please learn something from the species you serve.

This place is the BEST!!! My dog has a ton of fur and they always do an amazing job with his grooming! He has a little bit of stranger anxiety, but not with them! They are so kind and helpful and leave your pup with the most beautiful coat! I cannot say enough good things! 10/10 recommend!

We have a long coated German Shepherd and every time we pick him up he looks beautiful, clean and so fluffy. He’s not easy to handle and they are always willing to take him back. We appreciate them!
