In response to the owners response, NOTHING HAS CHANGED. these poor fish are brought in, over priced compared to buying online or from a local fish store and never fail to ick ridden or picked to pieces because the fish aren't separated correctly. Please do away with your saltwater section. There is clearly not any one experienced enough or any one who just cares enough in general to give those fish the love and care they need.I wish they took better care their fish. So badly wanted to ask for this one for free to try and give it a fighting chance but I know what the answer would have been and now it will die of ick

I was nervous about bringing my dog in for vaccinations today due to the other crazy reviews on here. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they were all dramatized. The store was not dirty, employees were all over the floor, the vaccination process was smooth, affordable and the Dr was very good. I'm glad I switched!

I tried to give this petco another chance. So I took my special needs child in to get a hermit crab. Trusting trusting the employee, To help her pick one out as soon as we got home.And I opened the box.It was clear that it was dead.It smelled super bad. So I drove right back over and the girl who had been rude to me in my first review, made me drive back home to get the paperwork to return the dead hermit crab.She had just sold me..... So then, after I wasted my gas money.In addition to my upset child, she had a different clerk.Check me out and didn't even take the paperwork..... First of all petco has no business selling animals when they don't even know if one is dead. They cut the wings on all of their birds.I think they should stick to selling litter and leave animals to skilled individuals. We will not be back to petco especially this one. We gave them a second chance....... Our mistake.

It's a nice, well-stocked Petco. However, I was struggling with a bag of food and not one employee offered assistance. They also refused to honor the 20% $80+ for online orders buying in store. I shop at other Petcos all the time and they are able to honor this. Really disappointed in the customer service at this location.

My only concern is that they told me that they didn’t have my brand of cat litter when I called. But when I placed the order online, it was delivered. Probably just an oversight… But even if you don’t order online you might want to check with their app.

I have to say something about this and I hope that someone reads this. Tonight we got my dogs together to take them in for a nail trim. Its about a 20 minute trip for us one way not to mention getting all their records together and getting the dogs ready to go to the store. We get there at 4:15pm on a Saturday and there was nobody in the grooming salon nor do I see any dogs. I waited around for a bit and finally a young lady comes in. She tells me she's not taking any more appointment's for nails for the day because she is ABOUT to go home. So... why are you even still in the store? Just to hang out and tell people you aren't taking any more clients? Also... since when is a nail trim something that needs an appointment? I would understand if the place was packed and I came in but she was hanging out in the store just waiting to go home? Its not like she was working on a groom and I came in... she came over from the store and then told me she won't do it because she's ABOUT to go home. Why not shut the grooming facility down at 4pm if it takes the worker half an hour to PREPARE to go home? I've worked in retail and I have managed retail so I understand not wanting to start something before you leave but when is that cutoff? Half an hour? An hour? And is the employee just free to hang out and get paid for nothing for that amount of time?Just super frustrating the amount of time and gas wasted on such a ridiculous reason for not being about to do it. It takes 10 mins top for a nail trim... and we always shop while we wait. But I will for sure be rethinking bringing my dogs to this groomer and even shopping in this store in the future.

Ripped me off by charging me $30 for a $7 item. Absolutely no help on the phone from either this store or their corporate number. They’re saying the only solution for their mistake is for me to come back to their store and interact with their one and only cashier present today who happens to be quite ill. I’d stay away from these scammers if I were you.Just take a look at the other reviews here as well; they’re no strangers to stealing people’s money and providing lackluster serviceEdit: your responses to customer complaints are worthless as well. I absolutely do not believe you’ll “show it to the team” or that you’ll make any sort of meaningful change. You’re content to be mediocre at best, criminal at worst. Live your truth about it at least, and quit lying on here

Terribly RACIST!!! We will NEVER step foot in this location again. Kindness and grace go a long way and belittling customers that need assistance is not the way to maintain good business/ customer relationships. It’s okay to have bad days but not okay to be bad people. This team needs some sensitivity and customer service training.

I bought two kittens from them about a month ago, great service, nice people, friendly funny. However, I bought sick kitties. One a carrier of ringworm and the other with a bad pink eye infection, they both ended up getting each other’s sicknesses. Of course always be aware of these things when buying from petco, petsmart ect… I don’t regret buying my kitties I love them so, but I just wishI knew they were sick so I would be able to take care of them a little less blindsidedly.

I have been going to Petco in Broomfield for a few years now and I have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They always greet me and my dog with a smile and offer assistance if I need it. They have a wide selection of products for all kinds of pets, from food and treats to toys and accessories. I especially like their grooming services, which are affordable and professional. My dog always looks great after a visit to the groomer. They also offer vaccination clinics, vet services and training classes, which are very convenient and useful. The store is clean, well-organized and easy to navigate. They also have a rewards program that gives you discounts and coupons for your purchases. I would recommend Petco in Broomfield to anyone who loves their pets and wants to give them the best care possible.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever!!! I begged for help getting fish out of a tank and explained my concerns of things I didn't know about fish. Received no real help all my fish end up dying so I brought them back the following day only to have a 2nd horrible experience in this store. Never coming back

I love shopping at Petco, but yesterday while shopping in the location of 120th & Sheridan I had to use the restroom urgently,(I have IBS). I have no control some days. I asked the clerk what the code was to the bathroom and she told me they don’t have public bathrooms.. this is extremely sad, I’m not sure why this is, but is literally had to run down to king Soopers to use their bathroom, and NO, I didn’t make it. I still went back into your “special “ store and purchased my items, but it will be the very last time I shop at PetCo or Petsmart. I’ll do my shopping in a store that provides restrooms to paying customers. There you go! I’ll tell everyone I know …. Don’t go there if you have any kind of digestible problems, or urinary problems. So I’m sorry that you have this policy, but I’m not homeless, nor a drug user if this is why you lock your bathroom door. PLEASE DO NOT LUMP EVERYONE INTO THESE CATEGORIES. I’ll go to the mom & pop stores which happens to be right across the street for my pet needs.

Went in tonight with my husband and had a very horrible experience. LORI is beyond racist and swept trash on my husband's feet as we were looking at fish. Then came to the front when we were checking out and began to yell at us in front of customers and belittled my black husband. Called him racist when he is clearly with a white woman. She should be fired for her racial slurs, completely unacceptable. Luckily her manager on duty told her to zip her mouth as she was completely unprofessional. Thank you to the lady that works there with colorful glasses for sticking up for us.

I went to petco today wanted to buy a cute little bearded dragon. Link was very helpful really knew her reptiles and their personalities. She seems to really care about the animals and that made me very happy and confident to get my little beardy from her. She answered all of my questions. I took a look at some other petco’s before making my decision. I ultimately came back to buy the one where Link worked. Out of all the petcos I visited she was the most helpful and the animals looked the most healthy here. Thank you!

Tisha was great with trimming and buffing my dogs nails! We were also greeted by a very friendly and helpful worker who saw me searching for a supplement for my dogs allergies. They pointed us in the right direction and also gave great information. We’ll definitely be back!
