This isn't my favorite King Soopers because the layout seems odd. If it was my usual store, I'm sure I'd be fine with it, but it's not. I won't switch stores because I'm reluctant to change my pharmacy.I've never had a poor experience at any King Soopers - I know what to expect, and I get it. If I were dissatisfied, I'd likely speak with the manager before leaving. I wouldn't wait to leave a review, call out an employee by name, and make threats if management didn't respond. I wouldn't, as too many “reviewers” do, leave a single star ✨ despite remarking I've always had excellent service, food, experiences, etc. for 5 years.I dislike self-checkout, and honestly, I'm really bad at it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't believe this is a store where I have no choice but to use it unless it's near closing.

This store continues to get worse. There is always the rude/creepy employee they keep on self check. They never have baskets to shop with. The carts are left in the lot(pictured) , better grab one there if ya need it.It gets better, nice remodel. Security gate at the entry and a rented Barney Fife staring at shoppers really adds to the experience.Finally, paying premium prices AND always having to check out & bag myself is always great fun. God forbid they open a register.This is what happens when you let Kroger have a monopoly in Denver.

Just recently move to Broomfield. Lived in Englewood for 10 years and always went to the same King Soopers on Broadway. This place is nice. Always stocked and always clean. Everyone is really nice. I’d like to mention the cashier Tessa who is always pleasant. Not only that but I have personally witnessed her go above and beyond with her customers. Especially if she sees that someone is down or struggling. Truly a compassionate person that’s always willing to step up. She is a rare breed and I feel lucky to have her at my local grocery store.

I have been to some big King Sooners in my time, but none of them have ever been as big as this store. It is not just large, not just sizable. It is collosal, enormous, monumental and mammoth, it is gigantic and grandiose. It is... well, Brobdingnagian. That's a word for "big" that's related to Jonathan Swift's "Gulliver's Travels." We all remember the part of the travels where Gulliver meets the Lilliputians, the teeny tiny people, but many of us forget the people of Brobdingnagian, who are giants compared to Gulliver. This King Soopers is like that! Brobdingnagian!Oh, it also has a wide selection of goods and groceries, and the staff members have all been unfailingly polite and nice whenever I have visited.

the store doesn't seem bad overall but I've bought batteries here twice now and they were already dead both times, friendly employees though, produce looks fresh, shelves look well stocked

Been followed by security twice here. All the way to the beer section from the front door. So next time, I'll be the decoy while you get robbed blind. Then maybe your security will actually learn.

Reasonable sized, near 120 and Sheridan gave it advantage in foot traffic. However the way the 1st street curving around the store parking lots makes it a bit danger to left turn onto 1st street specially in rush hours.The car traveling on 1st street can be a bit too fast and the S curve makes danger for the left turn vehicles.Items seems to be in good supply.Pharmacy staffs are good.

It's hard to have a bad experience of the grocery store. I push in my own cart from the lot because at this location historically the place stores carts is empty. There's no big trick to picking out groceries. Today the issue is trying to check out. First thing I do is scan my wine, and the self-check person comes over and I hand her my ID. I'm a couple months under 60 as is my wife. They inform us that there store policy is we both need to have our IDs present for them too allow us to buy the alcohol. The family that's in line and has alcohol is allowed to check out even though they have teenage kids in the line with them. I ask what the reasoning is for this and they say the kids are obviously with the parents. So standard is one of something being obvious. They say that they will bring over the manager who apparently has the ability to override this rule that everyone present must have an ID. Presumably the same process they go through for the family with the teenage kids with them. It wasn't obvious enough to the manager Joe that I was 60 and so was my wife. I find it poetic that people can push a cart full of alcohol and groceries out the front door and the store staff won't stop them but when you're 60 years old and standing in line and your wife doesn't have her ID but one of you does you can't buy it. I'm lucky enough to be located within 2 mi of 10 grocery stores. And of those 10, 8 can fill my prescriptions. King Soopers at 120th and Sheridan has choices how they treat their customers, and his customer I can choose which doors I darken. Going forward I will choose not to go back to that King Soopers. Safeway, Target, Walmart, whole foods and sprouts allow me many other options for places to buy my groceries.

This store seems organized and friendly worker to help you. I tend not to need much help grocery shopping but at other branches if this chain the people seem to avoid eye contact and turn the other way if you do need help. Shoppers just want to get in, get what they need, and get out. This store makes it easy.

I like this store but here is how King Soopers screws customers.They have a 6 pork chop package (1.5 lbs, no bone) for $5. They changed it to a 5 pork chop package, 1.25 pounds. You may not even notice the change unless you realize they just raised the price 17% ! Inflation is alive and well but pork prices went down in the summer and are about the same as last january, so why the big increase??The other way they do it is they may have an item that is $4.99... they put it on sale for two weeks at ,lets say $4.29 and then when the sale is over the price becomes $5.49. they do it all the time

It's 2023 and they can't figure out how to keep baskets at the store. They say people keep stealing them and they only have one left... Well buy more and put the Rocateq tag on them... We have the technology these days people. Also something about the lighting makes this store seem particularly sad 🤷🏼‍♀️

Bad customer service here. A lot of the employees seem very unhappy to be here. Waited at customer service to do a return, they are supposed to be open at 8am, head clerk came over around 8:05am, saw a line, and walked away. Leaving customers just waiting for service that should have been open at 8am.

This King soopers sucks. They would not honor a coupon from the app. The app literally says you can use the coupon multiple time. Manager told me it was a glitch, any other king sooper would honor their mistake.

It's like every other underwhelming, overpriced supermarket ever invented. Grouchy people, terrible produce. Slightly better selection and sale prices than Safeway, not that it's enough to make up for it. Nothing makes me miss HEB more than having to pretend this place is an acceptable alternative.

Horrible experience. The ID policy for groups is hypocritical or at least the woman in self checkout is. My boyfriend was making an alcoholic purchase and since I forgot my wallet I stood away from him as he made the purchase but since he acknowledged me she asked for my ID even tho I was not near him or handling the alcohol. She then refused to sell to us. Right after this a group of four girls who where all scanning items together were purchasing wine and she only cared about one of their IDs. I understand you have a policy but why only enforce when you feel like it? Even when I have my ID I’ve never been ask to show it as we checkout.

I'm extremely pleased with the pickup system at Kingsoopers groceries. Order online, schedule pickup time, check in when you arrive, and come out and place your order in your car. Excellent for handicapped or seniors. Also get all digital and paper coupons, and full sale prices.

Had the WORST experience here, my digital coupon didn't work!! I asked Lynette the cashier and she was extremely rude. I forgot my phone at home so I couldn't prove I had the coupon. Instead of giving me the coupon the cashier refused to sell me the sauce. I have never been treated like this. The worst thing is the cashier was rude and yelled at my mother who is battling cancer. I asked why she was so cranky and had such bad customer service, her reply to me was to shop at wal-mart!!! This was a horrible and traumatic experience and I will NEVER shop at this king soopers again

I’ve made a nice Starbucks discovery in the last weeks. Kings Soopers are a better options of Starbucks than the actual Company owned Starbucks version. With covid, Starbucks owned locations have become very inconvenient.

My favorite grocery store. Staff is friendly. Produce is always fresh and far better than other stores. Tons of self checkout. Clean and plenty of parking and helpful workers

Great selection of produce, sale items tend to be low on quantity or out of stock, employees are either very eager to get you out of the store or extremely talkative, especially in the self-checkout lines (which kind of defeats the purpose of SELF-CHECKOUT).If an employee has the time to stand there and hold a conversation with a customer the entire time the customer is scanning and bagging their own items, why isn't the employee scanning and bagging? So I'm essentially paying to scan and bag my own items while someone gets paid to talk to me and watch me do their job? It's not like I have a choice of whether I use self-checkout or go to a cashier since it's late evening/night time when I'm able to go shopping and everyone is directed to the self-checkout lanes.

While in your store on 6-16, we were checked out by your cashier Kate H. While I am not writing this to get her in trouble, she does need some guidance on what is appropriate. While asking where to get a reusable bag to purchase she made derogatory comments stating that , "Well, you people voted for it.Welcome to California." We, Colorado natives by the way, ignored this small and rude statement, but when I returned with the bag that happened to be one you are selling with love, peace, and pride on it, she rolled her eyes, grunted, and mumbled something under her breath. Perhaps she just had a bad day, or perhaps she is a hateful bigot. Either way, someone needs to let her know that she is in customer service and to keep her negative comments to herself. We will never shop in your store again if this is an acceptable way for your employees to treat people. If I don't hear from you within a few days with an apology, I will take this to your corporate headquarters.Thank you.

I came here because I had to change pharmacies due to my usual one being out of stock. Well I was here on Monday and unfortunately the pharmacy was closed my fault for not thinking or reading. But I was in line to pay and the older lady ahead us seemed lost and short on cash. The guy checking her out paid I was in tears as I have never seen this happen before I was moved it touched my soul. In a world of ugly there was beauty Rt there and reminded me no matter how ugly this world has gotten there the few that make it so beautiful. I did go tell a manager how amazing John was as an employee and they need more people like him. He was very friendly and you could tell liked his job regardless how mean people can be. I think our store clerks do not get half the recognition they deserve. Hats off to him and mad respect

I don't know what kind of sick thrill they get out of charge 3.99 a gallon for midgrade gas right now. Their low grade gas is like 3.39. They are clearly taking advantage of the times to charge way too much.
