My 6 year old Pomeranian is a pain in the butt when it comes to getting his hair groomed. He just gets too excited and will not hold still amongst his other antics. Grace O. is the absolute best groomer we have found and have been with her for almost 2 years. She is patient, kind and so talented at what she does. Teddy has never come home looking or feeling bad and so I will gladly drive a two hour round trip to Grace. I can tell he really loves going to see her and vice versa.

I have been getting my two Yorkie-poos groomed at the Boulder Petco for two years now. Prior to that, I went from groomer to groomer looking for a place where my nervous dogs felt comfortable. The team at Petco are awesome! They are friendly, thorough, and patient with my two nervous dogs. My dogs always come out looking great, feeling super soft and behaviorally unbothered. I highly recommend the grooming team at the Boulder Petco.

Jess and the team are wonderful. They do an excellent job grooming our pets and they go out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. The team takes pride in their work and our two girls really enjoy going to see them. Pro tip: ask for the sugar cookie pet perfume. :)

This salon is fantastic! My dog is difficult when it comes to grooming (hates water, doesn't like his paws being touched, etc.), and the Petco grooming team is AMAZING with him! They always take the time to make him feel comfortable, and they're always willing to talk me through the best time of day to bring him in, etc. I would highly recommend this salon to those looking for a clean, affordable groomer in the Boulder area.Note: My dog is a large, short hair dog

Your store is awesome with many different great offerings! You have the best cat condos in town, and we bought ours there. That caused us to frequent YOUR store and get all the rest of the things we needed for our two rescue cats. We spent alot for beds, food, medicine and calming sprays, as well as cat collars and tags. In other words, you charmed us also with your sweet and sincere employees and they handled our ONE return of a cat fountain with a pump that never work, seamlessly making that easy too! I had never been in before and I came in with my dog who had split his nail and was bleeding. I tried to make an appointment with the vet but the vet didn’t have availability. The grooming ladies were awesome! They took care of it and went above and beyond. I am so grateful. I have never given a tip that big in my life! I highly recommend this place.

We've been going to puppy playtime regularly on the weekends here. The trainer is great! Our puppy has become much more social and comfortable around other dogs. They also make great recommendations for treats, grooming and training. They do sometimes suggest we buy a lot, but the advice is always appreciated. Very friendly, and very knowledgeable!

Everyone was friendly. courteous and helpful. We had been told that we would need an appointment first (which is fine). The employees appreciated this. Appointment was made - very convenient - we were asked to bring in his paperwork from the vet. We understand this as we just moved here from Indiana. Brought the dog in and was asked how we wanted him trimmed. When we came back it was a great experience. Employees in the store were all helpful. Even a trainer came out to answer questions about our 2nd dog. We will be back.

Have had several great experiences with staff here. Blythe helped us with some litter choices after our first bag didn't go so well. Her advice was spot-on! We have also received fantastic help from someone with cat fountains. Thank you all for the help keeping 'Meow' happy and healthy :)

This was the BEST grooming experience we have ever had. The two woman working yesterday (Saturday) took time to get our dogs to trust them. We could tell they were in good hands, unlike some of our other experiences at groomers around Boulder. Our dogs came back cleaner than they have ever been, I recommend doing the mud bath. Thank you Petco! And the two awesome women working yesterday.

Three very sweet and exceptional young ladies (Rebecca, Jessie, and I apologize for not remembering no 3- I’ll update my review when I call & get it) took care of our two cockers, Jaxxson and Jazzmin. We were apprehensive as both are a bit nervous but the girls made them feel at home and were extremely loving to our babies. I am confident that this experience will definitely make the difference for their future grooms. I have been to three other groomers and twice was told they would have to be shaved. I was broken hearted and very angry. The Petco cuts were outstanding- they both look AMAZING and I couldn’t be happier! I’ll definitely be bringing them back here.

We bring our dog to get groomed every 2 weeks and they do a wonderful job. The staff couldn't be a nicer, Misty, the manager, does a great job. They're happy to use our dog's fragrance free shampoo for us and are always very kind and polite. Our dog loves going to see them which is amazing since she hates it when I give her a bath!

My som and I have an unusual breed of dog that is very simple to groom but different than most dogs. It is to never be brushed and basically just sheared. The groomer insisted she knows better and shamed the dog owner for not brushing the dog. She refused service. Evidently this is the general manager of the store. She was extremely rude, condescending and sarcastic. I would be leery using a groomer that refuses to understand the type of dog she is asked to groom.

I've been having a lot of troubles with my dogs gaining weight recently and so I went to petco to find a better brand of food. I ha a really amazing experience there! Everyone was really friendly and I talked to a cashier there ( I believe named Stephanie??) and she recommended whole hearted. It was in my budget and I got it and most recently my dog has lost two pounds!

Jaycee knows our Monkey Dog and his hyper personality. So she works with us to schedule times when the shop is less busy - like first thing in the AM. And She is always very responsive to whatever we share - such as if he's more bouncy than normal

Very friendly and helpful staff! On more than one occasion they have gone the extra mile to be extra helpful. Note that this location is not as big as some others, so their stock may be limited but well worth the visit. And they also sell cat litter in bulk so you can refill your container, reducing plastic waste!
