I'm not at all surprised that there is a Patagonia in Boulder. I cannot think of a city and company whose reputations more closely align. That said, I love just wandering through the store, feeling the earthy atmosphere and looking at an abundance of outdoorsy gear and equipment. I appreciated the wood flooring, the cool, understated atmosphere, and the pictures of distant natural beauty adorning the walls. The climate pledges and statements of the company's eco history feel much more natural and earnest here than they do in some random big-box store like Walmart or Target.

I came in late (630 pm. 1/2 hr before closing) and, was not greeted by the numerous staff at the counter.. I dont really care about that, but mention it for the purposes of this review. I was looking to spend around $1200+ on new shell jacket/ pants and puffy pants for an Alaska trip. There were 3 staff members not 10 feet from me carrying on a conversation and 100% not paying any attention to me shuffling through the gear repeatedly looking for sizes etc. It wasn't until I stood at the cashiers desk and interrupted the conversation that I was able to garner help. I was met with a slightly snooty demeanor when I asked for a particular product and asked "Do you really need that?". A better way to ask would have been, "for what purpose". Being boulder, the gear could have been for cruising the mall, but it's The Patagonia Store and could be for scaling Fitz Roy. I spent about 30 minutes in the store and left many other customers still shopping the racks and inattentive staff milling about.In any case, it was poor customer service and with some attitude.Patagonia gear is some of the best on the market as well as being some of the most expensive. Customer service should be equally stellar.

Boulder is the city to shop for hiking gear and this Patagonia has a great selection. The star of this location is Kaitlin. My wife and I were shopping on Friday night (Jan 19, 2024) and Kaitlin recommended gear for our Patagonia trip (we know, a bit on the nose). Kaitlin patiently explained each each product's benefits to us and was extremely knowledgeable. She also kept it real and did not try to oversell us. Kaitlin also went out of her way to help us locate items that were not in the store. I just feel bad, because now she is our go-to for Patagonia gear (sorry Kaitlin!). Great brand ambassador and we wish her much success in her studies!

Took my favorite jacket (that is 10+ years old) in to see what was wrong with the zipper. After not having worn it in months and having given up hope, it was fixed within 10 minutes. Miracle workers there!

We were just being tourists and checking out Pearl St.Didn’t expect to buy anything. We were either lucky on timing or Patagonia has decent deals/prices.Ended up buying several things on sale, which again wasn’t our intention. Either way glad we stopped in!

Went in to have my toddlers hat repaired as some of the securement on back of his hat had melted. The employee helping us went ABOVE and beyond in ensuring that she got us a replacement sent direct to our house. She was beyond accommodating as well as super for giving my son some super cool Patagonia stickers. Love this Patagonia!

I had the most incredible experience at this location. I went in for a little birthday shopping trip and Lauren was very kind and attentive; helping with tips and checking for anything that wasn’t in stock. She had great energy and elevated the experience from normal clothes shopping. I will definitely be back because of her outstanding, generous service!

Great customer service and knowledgeable staff. Spoke to several staff about new items and tried on some items. Then Alex, who I believe is a new assistant manager, helped me and even went the extra mile in service and care. Over the course of a couple days, as I was busy, he helped me resolve a problem with worn out pants and helped me choose a replacement. He even checked the back stock in their basement to find me the all sizes and colors to try! A++ Love this place, company, and its employees!

Great, quality store that I go for backpacking & hiking gear and clothes! Rugged gear that I can drag around on trail & it'll keep up with me! I love a sale or going through the discount racks. Found a sweet gray tank top for only $17! Score. Be sure to ask what the price is on the sale items because their pricing gun only goes down to half off. You could be surprised that the item your holding from the sales rack could be much lower than what's marked! They have super friendly staff and a sparkling clean store.

Love their clothing. I had 1 bad run with a pullover and they replaced it after a year. Who does that??? So, I bought 3 more. It's quality and customer centric service that keep me coming back.

I had a zipper replaced on an older down coat and a seam fixed on a better sweater with both repairs being absolutely perfect! I mostly buy Patagonia because they repair their clothing and all of their clothing lasts a really long time.

Meh. Not a review of the customer service, which is outstanding as always. The clothes have just really gone downhill in recent years. Fitment is inconsistent as ever, which lends itself to a painful shopping experience during covid having to wait in line, go home to try on, rinse and repeat. I've now gone through 6 shirts without a single one fitting properly, and I can't get a cash refund to go to a brand that does fit properly. As much as I love the awesome service, I can't justify the premium price and inconsistent fitments anymore.

I went to ten shops at Boulder's Pearl Street Mall plus REI. I chose a Patagonia ski jacket and pants in Siskiyou brown and cabin gold. The jacket has five pockets, more than most others I saw. The outfit matches, and stands out in a crowd, making me easier for my ski buddies to spot. The saleswoman, Alexsis, was so helpful I had trouble dispassionately evaluating the competing products.

Just want to give a shout-out to the awesome sales staff here. I called asking for slim-fit rain pants, which Patagonia doesn’t make. Their team member directed me to another resource to find exactly what I was looking for. Props to them for helping a potential customer, even if it meant them not making a sale. I know where I’ll be going next time they DO carry what I’m looking for. Thanks, team.

Always love looking around a Patagonia store. It has a very nice atmosphere and relaxed feel. I was disappointed in some of their selection which I felt didn’t include a great representation of what they offered and was a bit slim overall. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe that’s because Boulder has already bought out all the good stuff from the store.

Last year my father got me a Patagonia parka for Christmas, and it quickly became my favorite coat. Then a few months later, there was a door with a jagged-edged window frame at work that I ripped the sleeve on - twice! Not big rips, but enough to annoy me. I finally sent it in to be repaired, somewhat warily, as fall was coming on and I wasn't sure how long it would take or if it would look all right afterward. I dropped it off at the Boulder store on 10/30; they were very professional about it and told me they would be able to fix it free of charge. About a week ago I got an email from them saying it was done and confirming my address, letting me know what time it might be delivered and when. I just got it back - right before a big snowstorm is headed our way - and it looks perfect. My favorite coat is back. Yes, it did take about five weeks to repair, but it's so worth it! I'm now officially a big fan of Patagonia's service, as well as its gear.

This was by far my best experience in a Patagonia store. I love how connected this shop is to the Boulder community. They even have a small guidebook of things to do and eat around town. We need more stores, especially corporations, to uplift communities they enter and amplify local businesses and organizations.

Love this store. Have come in a couple times recently -- and got some great recommendations regarding the nano air light hybrid, and the silent down. Felt like the staff was truly invested in helping me find the right jackets, rather than just the most expensive. Shoutout to, if I remember there names correctly, Zach and Logan(?) .

Lauren hooked it up!The store is appointment only, which I realized upon arrival when they were closed for lunch. (around 1 on a Tuesday) I called at 2 when they reopened and Lauren answered letting me know I could come in to make a quick exchange.I'm coming in from Steamboat Springs, and rarely make it down to the front range, so this might have been my one time to exchange my R1 pullover that fit too roomy for something else in my size.We arrived at the shop, were greeted at the door, walked through very straight forward covid procedures, then allowed in. I met Lauren moments after being inside and she pointed us to the R1's. I tried on a size that worked great, and opted for the tech face version instead of the pullover I came in with. My new jacket will be great for spring touring, and the price difference wasn't bad at all.All said and done, we were in and out in less than a minute with a jacket that fit me and my needs very well. Lauren made this a quick and easy process when I was worried I'd need to make exchange after exchange online till I found the right jacket.

Very good experience...the young gentleman was helpful as well as knowledgeable. You can't beat the sale they have winding down now as pickings are slim but I found what I was looking for.I am a happy camper.
