Hands down the best carefully curated selection of wine I've ever found. Its not as big as other stores but you know anything you buy will be solid. Price points are typically better or on par with the bigger places. Employees are always friendly and happy to help. You might get a larger selection elsewhere but these guys cut out the junk and just have what you'll wanna drink. Couldn't recommend more.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough! They have curated a wonderful selection of just about any alcoholic beverage you could want, are happy to help recommend one, and point out all the ongoing sales. Run by a sweet Greek family and stocking a lot of local options, this should be your choice if looking to support local small business. Also for the more try before you buy folks out there, there are usually tastings from 4-6 on Fridays

We just had one of the best nights of our life—our wedding—and NBL catered it to perfection. When you're already overloaded and trying to reduce the amount of external stresses, it's invaluable having a vendor that takes care of their end with no friction. Highly recommend these guys. As a cherry on top they also carry our favorite Greek Rosé! So much variety and personalty within one shop. As my wife said, "If we lived in Boulder, we would only go to NBL."

Smaller store, but packed with a good selection. Great staff. Prices are a bit high, but it's a neighborhood store, not a huge box liquor store you browse with a shopping cart. Great for a dinner bottle of wine or six pack though.

This is my favorite liquor store in all of Boulder or Denver area - having lived in Boulder for 8 years we have come to know and love the staff, who have not only helped us find amazing bottles of wine over the years, but they’ve gone above and beyond time and time again. They even helped us source champagne for the head table at my best friends wedding this past summer at a much better price than the venue was offering in Estes Park. The team actually came to a show I played in at the Biergarten to support my band - they’re basically our extended family. We’re so grateful to know all of the team here and to shop at this business regularly. Look no further for wine, beer, and liquor in Boulder!

Kostas is not only personable and upbeat, but his extensive knowledge of the store's immense wine selection is second to none! I drive over 10 miles and pass a dozen other liquor stores just to shop here. I won't go anywhere else. One of the best small businesses you will find in the greater Boulder area.

Visiting here and this is the closest liquor, now the 1st time I went I meet the owner and he was a very nice gentleman great conversation.Went back the next day in the evening and his son and son other workers, I was buying the same thing that I had bought the day before, the cashier over charge I said something, then the son was like ohhh well that's cause I haven't gotten to it but the price is as the cashier said just hadn't got to it but if not for the son I would have given at least a 7 but because of the son a 1 work better on ur attitude when people any color with respect

When I mentioned to the cashier that their beer prices seemed high, I was met with a cold stare and complete silence. They could at least be friendly if they’re going to charge such high prices. The good news is, there are plenty of other liquor stores I can go to and I definitely will.

Prices marked on the shelf are not the prices they charge you at the register. And when I mentioned that they are charging me $4 more per 6 pack of beer beer then was posted on the shelf on the shelf I was pretty much told Tough Luck. Needless to say I won't go there ever again.

This is a terrific, Nobo amenity! No need to do the 28th St. hassle. Great selection. Staffed by a really nice bunch of folks who have been there forever. Pricing on many items is very competitive with the big stores and they often run good sales. Conveniently located by the Lucky's shops.

I've shopped at this store many times over the decades since I first moved to Boulder but moved away and hadn't been back for a couple of years. I had time to check out the many newer and larger competitors and I have to say that the wine selection in this small store is truly the best of the best for those who care about quality and value. Whoever's doing the buying here really knows their stuff!Top-quality small-producer wines from France, Italy and the U.S. at more-than-fair prices, properly aged, ready-to-drink Barolos and Chateauneuf du Pape for those with deeper pockets, carefully-sourced everyday wines from the best importers, on and on. Killer liquor selection, a ton of microbrews and friendly, unpretentious service. It's a local institution for very good reasons!

This place is constantly bustling when I go in. They have everything related to alcohol. The salespersons are friendly but struggle to keep up with the busy pace. Still, it is a great place to find that scotch or wine you are looking for.
