The produce is high quality and all organic. No wondering if someone mixed non-organic items in with the organic veggies and fruits. Plenty of choice for those with dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy, nut free). A nice selection of grab-and-go items if you don't feel like cooking a meal. The store's small footprint means you can get in and get out with a week's groceries in 20 minutes.

My favorite Natural Grocers location. They have a great cold case with grab-and-go options, which is something that not all Natural Grocers have. Their overall selection of products is excellent as well. I always love coming here.

This is a store I used to love. I used to be able to come in and easily find a week's worth of groceries to make all my meals, but alas now I can't do all of my shopping here anymore and I need to go to Whole Foods or King Soopers.The store has aisles and aisles of cookies, potato chips, candy bars, milled flours (highly processed), sodas, and fruit juices. But try to find real food and you'll often come up short. It's like going into a 7-11 or other convenience store, but with "natural" emblazoned on more of the products (as if their sodas and cookies are somehow healthier here) and the other customers are still all wearing Covid masks for some reason.Even one of the main draws-- the ability to find foods and products here that you can't get anywhere else-- has slipped away. I'd wager I can get just about everything here at King Soopers and/or Whole Foods. It feels like they've just given up on seeking out small, unknown manufacturers and products.So, not able to find even half of my grocery list today, I put back the one, sad bakery loaf of bread I could find and headed over to Whole Foods. A woman smiled at me frombeneath her mask as I walked out-- the only bright spot on the visit to this store today. This is a store that has actually completely lost its own mission.

It is what it is. There is always boxes on carts. I guess that means they sell lots of stuff....lol it's small and quaint. You can't get lost in here, but you will spend time getting to know where the hell everything is in this tiny box of a store....

Out of town visitor on a "working vacation" so I don't usually shop at Natural Grocers-- with that being said, I was thoroughly pleased with the layout, cleanliness, and customer service of this store. I felt welcomed and the staff went above and beyond assisting me with finding things that I needed for my extended stay. The store was well stocked and the everything looked fresh. I do not mind paying slightly higher prices for quality merchandise and service. TOP NOTCH!

They never run out of my favorite Organic Hibiscus Flower . The one in Denver just cant keep it stocked. Also, they have a bigger selection of clearance items. I bought a great quality liquid C, vitamin D3 and Oregano Oil for such a good price.

This place feels like a neighborhood grocery store, all the employees are so friendly and all the produce is organic! They have high standards in their food and staff so I really like to support them so that they can continue to provide quality products.

Love this shop! It’s so easy to find alternatives for diets and restrictions, definitely more on the expensive side but when they have deals they are great! My family moved here from California and we’ve loved the amazing produce and selection on dairy alternatives. The staff are always super nice, it’s more the customers who are rude. Jimena is a great person to ask questions about, and I appreciate her for always attending to us with great manners! Will definitely make this my only grocery store to shop!

I love Natural Grocers. Reading their origin story inspires me. I can feel the values of health and quality whenever I shop there. I appreciate the size of the store making it easy to do all my shopping without having to trek a mile from one end to the next. I love the atmosphere. The people who work there are almost always friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about the products. My favorite unique feature to Natural Grocers is the priority for Organic and seasonal produce and the focus on not creating waste with plastic/paper bags and plastic produce bags. The use of boxes makes soooo much sense and I wish more stores would take this approach.Lastly, I appreciate Natural Grocers prices. While all health food stores are a little more pricey than King Supers or Safeway, I feel Natural Grocers prices are much more affordable than Whole Foods or some of my other favorite smaller grocery stores in town.I am truly very grateful for you Natural Grocers. Thank YOU!!!!

Very incompetent cashiers. Specifically today. She Pushed us out of line even though we waited for the new cash register to open, and let some angry lady from a different line cut in front of us. When I confronted her she giggled and said so sorry… Both girls working there do not belong in front of any customer service position. Me and my husband left the shop so upset I literally don’t want to step my foot near the shop. Trader Joe’s and whole foods are a block away and have much better and professional customer relations!the second cashier that we complained to was even more arrogant didn’t even stare at our direction ewww. So unprofessional. They do not belong anywhere near customers.

**Update**I don’t shop here as much as I used to. The prices have gone up drastically and continue to. They’ve also no longer carry lot of products that I purchase. I don’t know who the manager is now but they don’t seem to ever be at the store. The previous manager was around a lot and easy to talk to. The bathrooms now are not cleaned regularly. I’ve been shopping at natural grocers for over a decade so it’s sad to see this location in such poor shape.We've been shopping here for years, well before they moved to their new location. It is our favorite store because it has the greatest selection of the products we buy... and the produce is usually great quality. I have not had any issues with the staff likes some reviewers have stated. All the cashiers especially have been very nice. I feel like this is the easiest in-and-out and less stressful place to shop. I am disabled and I appreciate that they have lots of handicap parking right near the store. That’s the way it should be, but sadly many other stores in Boulder are not as accessible. So thank you for being respectful and inclusive to the disabled community.

Really wonderful assortment of staff at the Boulder store. So supportive and kind. My favorite establishment. Very healthy, well balanced group of people. A fine feeling almost always to the store (customers present on occasion can alter the vibe a bit).Makes grocery shopping a pleasure, and often even therapeutic because of the ways the staff extend themselves to help on every level.

Such a hypocritical company, they make such a big deal about being inclusive and health for employees and having sustainable practices and products but they tolerate outrageous employee behavior. Donald in the warehouse is extremely racist and several great employees have left because of unsafe conditions, he has even gotten physically violent and they don't do anything about the complaints. Internally and externally you need to stand by your principles, don't just virtue signal to the public that you are a moral company if you can't even protect basic work conditions for employees.

Every time I try to stop here for one or two items, I have to wait in line for ten minutes because the express lane is never open. There are usually several other people experiencing the same problem because nobody with a cart full of groceries has the courtesy to let someone buying two things go first.31/8/23Tried giving this place another chance to grab one item before getting on the bus. All the lanes were full, everyone had full baskets, and they hadn't opened the express lane. After waiting in line for five minutes, I gave up and ran outside....in just enough time to see the bus driving away.

In terms of products, they have such potential. The meat options, produce, vitamins and dairy are, in my opinion, outstanding. The crew staff from produce, dairy, most of vitamins and all the cashiers are awesome people who really work hard to deliver good products WITH good customer service. Steer clear of Alex the manager though.The produce can be quite good....but is hit or miss at times.Meat is awesome, dairy is great. Bulk is good. Vitamins, very good.

Natural Grocers is one of our regular stops for organic groceries. One of our favorite aspects of the store is that all their produce is organic, so no need to pick through conventional options, though the quality is not always as high as the competitors (we buy peaches elsewhere, for example). We also appreciate their prices on staples like eggs, yogurt, chocolate, and milk. Their bulk section is great for spices and oatmeal. They started out as a vitamin store, and supplements still take up a lot of room. They don’t stock a lot of meat, but what they have is high quality. We like the store brand bacon and they also have our favorite kind of almond-crust pizza.

The only grocery store I shop at. They have a great selection of products with fair prices. Their produce is all organic and mostly local, and it’s way more fresh than produce at other stores in the area. The employees are all great too, always really nice to me.

Love the new location! And they even have non-frozen bread now! (this was the main reason I used to not shop for groceries there--because it forced me to go to two or three different places since it didn't carry bread or some of my other staples). This store is larger and has everything now. As far as ethical places to shop for groceries in Boulder, this is the easiest and most accessible for the elderly. I try not to shop at the big stores that won't let their employees unionize and are profit first enterprises. I plan to do a little cost analysis soon and will update this review when I do.

Never shopping at this chain again due to my experience with her specifically. Hire someone better, do not let that Karen speak to customers.

Great selection of produce and dry goods, bulk items, and supplements. I like that flours and nuts are refrigerated. Store itself has broad enough aisles that I don’t feel crowded. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Love Vitamin Cottage / Natural Grocers. Great produce. can be a little expensive at times, but that's what it costs to get (REAL) good food. They have some of the best dairy, yogurt, and other things. They have delicious wraps. Definitely suggest going here, great products and supply. They have all sorts of stuff for healthcare needs too. ✅
